After just one adjustment, I felt an incredible sense of relief. I’ve been dealing with this pain for so long that I almost wanted to cry from the improvement.

Dr Horton goes further and corrects all areas that interact with one another. Leaving the patient with more lasting relief and for a longer period . In my case. Discomfort is an occupational hazard. Dr Horton will make sure you feel right as rain!

Experiencia fantástica: As a new student in Traditional Chinese Medicine, today was my first visit to the clinic. I mentioned to my professor that I was feeling tense and tired, which was affecting my digestion. The professor strongly recommended the clinic, saying it was worth a try, so I went in without expecting much—but I was blown away. From the warm staff who guided me to the professor and senior students who treated me like family, everyone was incredibly professional. The thoughtful discussions between the professor and the students about my case gave me even more confidence in the school. What surprised me the most was how skilled the student practitioner was at acupuncture. Having grown up in Korea, I’ve had plenty of acupuncture experiences, but I was amazed by how well they performed—especially since they haven’t even graduated yet! It made me excited to think that I could reach that level one day. Overall, it was such a heartwarming experience, and I’m definitely planning to visit regularly.

He explained everything and answered all my questions fully. The spinal adjustments were not at all painful and my neck in particular felt better afterwards. The receptionists were also very sweet and helpful. I'd recommend this experience to anyone.

They were very professional, explained everything in detail from the diagnosis to the treatment and offered visuals with the explanation. Both Dr. Zachman and the intern explained to my daughter what they were going to do before they began and asked for feedback throughout treatment. When we left, my daughter commented that she felt very comfortable and wouldn't hesitate to go back there again for treatment. She feels so much better after just 1 visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going here for 24 years as needed, and have not considered changing offices. They have been that good. Recently I was seen for a slipped disc in my lower back that flared up again and it almost prevented me from being a pall bearer at my father's funeral. They were able to see me every day to work on it and try to fix it in time, and succeeded. My back was well enough that I was able to help carry my father. I am forever grateful for that. A few follow up treatments and I was able to return to work as well. They have done phenomenal work, across several doctors over two decades. They have a pattern and history of excellence and I will continue going here for years to come.

Experiencia positiva: Grade at the manual cracking and adjustments to the bone manipulation structure. I wish they did more massage tho, I really need massage for my sore muscles. dr. Horton is a wonderful doctor she is very real and has great knowledge peaceful energy, I enjoy conversing with her and look forward to my weekly visit which helps me feel at least 30% better every time I go in. Her compassionate demeanor is some thing we don’t see in every doctor these days. Some doctors don’t even make eye contact or change the tone of voice when they talk to you. But she takes her time she gets the fax the information she needs blue prints out her cracked my back plan and execute with precision. Highly recommend her. And she made me a to do list for other health care services that would benefit me if my insurance will pay. Such as acupuncture. My picture is a friendly banter to her because she is so healthy and we close with radiant positive energy and I really believe she wants the best for each person to reach their top potential in feeling well and health and wholeness.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had 3 visits with Dr. Finer Sr. and Dr. Finer Jr, and they are amazing chiropractors and guys! I have congenital defects so that makes me a hard patient, but they weren't deterred and went to work on me, and have helped me tremendously after just 3 visits. They explained everything in detail but in a way that was easy to understand, and treated me with such respect and were so gentle with me, I walked away totally refreshed both physically and emotionally!!! They were both very friendly, and now I feel like not only do I have a me doctor, but these guys already feel like friends. They didn't rush me, and took their time with me, and made me feel like a person, not just a patient. They also listened to me too, and throughout my treatments they kept asking if i was comfortable. That is rare!! It's great seeing both of them, and I honestly can't rave enough about them!!! I I highly recommend both of them, and I feel very blessed that God sent me to them because I am already feeling better!!! It's so nice to feel better, and I can't wait for my next visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I hurt my tailbone several months ago thinking I could give mountain biking a try for the first time. Since I am posting here, you can imagine it did not end well. I have seen multiple providers of many disciplines with little to no relief. I came here as a “last ditch effort”. I came for an internal coccyx adjustment. (There’s only one way to get at that area internally…let that sink in for a minute…) the doctor and his student were both very professional, asking if I was comfortable proceeding with the procedure every step of the way. After my first visit I had relief in my pain! I was able to walk up the stairs in my house without moaning and groaning with every step. My second adjustment was a little uncomfortable and I was a little sore for a couple of days, but they are correcting months of injury. I highly recommend giving them a try!

I have improved by leaps and bounds! The provider has been extremely thorough. I feel like I'm in good hands and feel comfortable and safe. The environment is clean and professional. The front desk staff always try to help you as soon as they can and they are all very helpful and kind. Couldn't recommend this place more. I've had such a good experience.

Experiencia negativa: This school is anti-vaccine and is producing chiropractors with incorrect ideas about science, health and epidemiology. The woman I spoke with said that getting vaccinated is a personal choice rather than the willingness to participate in controlling a virulent pathogen within a population. Shame on them for their views which have resulted in an epidemic of unvaccinated chiropractors, whom do not deserve the title "doctor".

Experiencia negativa: Clinic is at a health sciences university that is not requiring its students to be vaccinated or wear masks in public areas. Unsure if students working in the clinic are checked for their vaccinations. Either way, if you do not want to pick up Covid on the way to your appointment in the unmasked public areas, you should probably not go here. Even during mask mandates, students here were still going to parties and catching Covid.

Experiencia negativa: Dont go here!!! I just had my first assessment at Northwestern. Northwestern actively bait-and-switch me let me explain.... I contacted Northwestern to ask them if they could do some extremity work. I told them my insurance they confirmed that they accepted my insurance. I scheduled an appointment I went in to the assessment and they did a complete body assessment. The doctor comes in afterwards and says they cannot do the work I requested because my insurance does not cover it. I asked why they didn't tell me that before they started the work and they said they didn't know, I find that hard to believe. Moreover when the doctor said what he could do to make adjustments to my body, he said that two adjustments were enough and that the appointment would take no more than 13 minutes. So he wants all my insurance money for 13 minute appointments. This is his dishonest as you gets Let's go further, so I contacted the admin staff and billing. I explained the situation and that Northwestern was unable to help me considering what I came in for. I stated they should not have given me the assessment if they could not service my extremities. They claimed ignorance and that they didn't know my insurance, there are only so many insurances that they'd handle I clarified that they handled my insurance previously with other patients they said yes. Furthermore the billing staff rejected my appeal to not Bill my insurance and decided to send me a letter stating such I'll post the letter My first post.... The assessment was good. By the intern. Then the doc come in....Then they tell me they cant work on parts of my body. They still wanted to book me for an adjustment. I ask how long the appt would be, dr says, about 13 mins.... BAHAHAHA.... 13 mins gets you my insurance dollars for a full appointment. Obvious bait and switch then a promise to do the absolute least. What wrong intuition did I have to come to a university to get quality care.

Experiencia negativa: Since relocating to the Twin Cites, I have had a difficult time finding a chiropractor who is really great -- well rounded with a very deep understanding both conceptually and technically how the body functions. I've even for the first time, had a chiropractor behave inappropriately with me and I reported him to the board. The common denominator? They all were graduates of this school. I have been going to chiropractors for over 25 years and have been a strong advocate for the practice, but this for-profit school has left me with a bad taste in my mouth for the practice in general. After my experience as a student here, I feel like the school is a scam. Since I have been a bodyworker for about 15 years, am very familiar with working with people in pain in a healthcare capacity and have been told by many chiropractors that I would be a great one, I had applied many years ago to LifeWest Chiropractic college in Hayward, CA, but the reality was that I was paying nearly $2000 per month for rent, so It was not until I relocated I relocated to MN that I could afford to actually go. I applied, was accepted to the program, which was accelerated and very intense. I found that the student-facing staff (in student affairs and even the school counselor) have terrible communication skills -- they make very inappropriate judgmental statements and refuse to apologize or own it when called out on it (hint: a little apology and ownership of your mistakes is a huge bridgebuilder). Policies are bent and overlooked arbitrarily for students they favor and the administration becomes very rigid and inflexible to students they don't. I saw more than one kid who just partied through their very intense first trimester, failed and then were given a second chance, while others who worked hard, studied, didn't drink and failed were dismissed from the Chiropractic program and told they needed to take more classes. There is very clear bias and if you dare talk about it, everyone on the student body knows it. I would not recommend this program unless you are either just out of high school or undergrad, are very stereo typically Minnesotan (blonde? Even BETTER!), Passive aggressive? This is your school! I'm done with the rampant dysfunction and will be going somewhere that people are at least a little interested in being emotionally healthy. As a final mention: my comments are not about the teachers. The ones I had were great. Very human and supportive. They're just doing their job and teaching, from what I could see. It's the administration that is the problem. As my friend who taught at UMN med school said, “it sounds like they’re trying to be a real university, but they’re not quite getting it."

Experiencia negativa: I was very optimistic coming to this school, that however changed very quickly. This school is so poorly run and there has been countless turnover in staff. The education is a joke! the "revamped business program" is run by a small business entrepreneur who had never even been to a chiropractor until he came to school, yet he is teaching the core of our classes such as buying and starting a chiropractic practice or chiropractic marketing. It seems silly to me to have a non chiropractor teaching these things but that is Northwestern's way as they always seem to find the cheapest way out when it comes to hiring teachers, that is probably why they keep replacing them each year. The most frustrating part about the school is the constant tuition increase with no real improvements to the school it self. It is an old middle school and the classes are disgusting, the tables are all cheap and broken and the locker rooms are infested with flies/bugs. The worst part is that at the open school meeting with the CFO we were told "I understand your frustration with the constant raises but we still rank in the low middle of the cost and we want to remain relevant and not have our cost to low". Now lets get to the Dean, he essentially just tries to please everyone and constantly goes back on his word, thats probably why the school doesnt know if its evidence based or philosophically based because depending who he talks to you get a different answer. Lets not forget all the recent changes and promises that have been changed or retracted... To begin he promised a T5 class during board sign up that it would be best to take boards in march and that he would "make sure" to change the midterm schedule to avoid those students from going through 16 midterms followed by Part 1 boards, this of course never happened and he went back on his word resulting in some poor board results for several stressed students. This current semester too I heard that he eliminated midterm weeks for students because he felt students didn’t need time away from class to study for tests and felt that students should always be on top of their studies for all 10+ classes at any time. This was a long rant but I hope it helps future students deciding to come here to really rethink that choice. I know if I could now I would change my choice without hesitation. I am just thankful I am long done with that place

First adjustment, I find out I have foot and hamstring issues from my hip and the pain meets in the middle. 5 sessions later, i no longer need to take medication or a brace

Experiencia negativa: I recently showed some interest in their program and asked for literature. Now I'm getting multiple calls and emails a day about their program. Any reputable school/program would not repeatedly call and email prospective students. Please stop sending unwanted correspondence.

Experiencia negativa: I am a big fan of honest reviews. I had a good time while in school at Northwestern. Loved the docs, professors and the other students. However, the accounting department is a mess. I have not attended the University since April 2013. They just contacted me THREE years later about a loan the "fell through the cracks." I have already refinanced my student loans (YEARS ago) and managing my finances accordingly. The university's neglect for communication and good accounting (when your talking about thousands of dollars) is dissapointing and unprofessional.

My experience has always been that the events are well structured, thoughtfully planned, and excellent education for the money. I plan to continue looking at their CEU offerings and will not hesitate to go to them when I'm looking for a quality learning experience.

I greatly value the Radiology, Chiropractic Spinal Manipulative Therapy technique courses and the Neuromuscularskeletal education. As with everything in life, becoming the best takes hard work, self sacrifice and a strong mental attitude to persist through the grind of a long curriculum of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. Complainers, underachievers and non goal orientated people need not apply...

Experiencia negativa: I have been in the chiropractic program for about 2 years now. It has been a complete nightmare. First off the education experience is way below par. The professors have a really hard time relating to the students. The school doesn't teach enough business skills to help open a chiropractic practice. Its trying to be a medical school more than a chiropractic school. The adjusting method they teach is mediocre, its not very specific. They charge way too much for the schooling. Most graduates are in lots of debt afterwards, and takes years to pay off. Over all if I had to do it over again. I would not go to this school or touch it with a 100 foot pole.
