No Prices Upfront & The Hard Sell Once You See The Doctor—- I should have known better when the office would not tell me the out of pocket costs per visit over the phone. They said that every patient is different. I asked to please give me at least the range in pricing so I had some idea. They wouldn’t. Most people want to know the costs involved before making purchases.They only provided the new patient price of $49. That’s just so they can get you in the door! I should’ve known better and listened to my gut and not gone to the appointment. They don’t tell you the prices upfront because they need the opportunity to try to persuade you, guilt trip you, and shame you in person into spending thousands of dollars on their “plan”. Once you're there and you speak to the doctor, (who has an uncomfortable energy about him),he begins the hard sell of the “plan”, and that he’ll need to see you 2-3 times per week over the next few months. He’s also an alarmist as a tactic to make your case seem so very ominous and so very difficult and so very perilous that if you don’t get on board with the program right away, you’re going to be a lost cause. It’s a total scare tactic money grab! I did not get a feeling of care and concern; rather it felt like a pathetic game of persuasion to get you to sign up on the “plan” of $1000-$3000 per month! Because as the doctor said,”He doesn’t do occasional adjustments for patients on an as needed basis. He needs to see you on a regular weekly basis”. What does that tell you about him and the work that he does?!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a wonderful consultation today. Dr Will gave me the most comprehensive explanation I’ve ever heard. Understanding the science behind the spine and how many systems are linked and affected when you are misaligned. It explains why so much of my entire body is out of whack, including why my allergies have gotten worse as my neck pain has increased. I can’t wait to start my treatment next week.

Standing right in front of me and won’t assist and suggests I go to The Joint because he isn’t set up or open for business, can’t do x rays etc. No mention of that on his site. Thanks for nothing - I thought doctors help people. Incredible.

Experiencia negativa: If you have a chiro who recommends regular visits for months with manipulation, they aren’t curing your injuries. Research shows that for some people with with back or neck disc bulges, one to three manipulations may assist in recovery along with a daily planned rehab exercises. There is no scientific evidence that supports repeated manipulations as a cure for back or neck pain. Chiropractic manipulation is not putting something back into place that was out of place. Study have shown that manipulations have mostly neurological effects that can reduce muscular spasms or sometimes the opposite-create spasms. What seems to be temporary relief at the time will worsen the pain and causes long term pain. Patients should not be going to chiropractic treatment for YEARS. I’ve gone to this Harborside chiropractic Dr. B years ago for neck pain. He said I had cervical spine degeneration. I paid thousands and saw him 3 times a week for months. Every time it was the same treatment,,,,neck manipulation and some exercises I was in and out within 30 minutes every time. Months later I still was in pain. Less pain but was still in pain. I went to another chiro for second opinion. She took my X-ray and said I lost the curve on my cervical spine but no degeneration. I was lied to from the previous chiro who tried to scare me and sold me to keep coming back for treatments. I’m no longer in pain. All I did was relearn all my daily bad habits and replace with correct postures and neck hygiene along with daily neck exercises. I hope those who are reading this review that you are aware of chiropractors who tries to sell you months of treatment plan( which they don’t have a plan for you but take your money and not curing your pain).

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend this practice! I have been suffering with pain for several months prior to visiting Dr. Brogna. From my first visit, I was impressed with the practice. Lenore is amazing and is so welcoming. She takes the time to explain anything needed in a manner that is helpful and warm. During my first visit Dr. Brogna spent a significant amount of time discussing his diagnosis as well as educating me on chiropractic care. I was surprised at the amount of information I learned and appreciated the time he spent with me. I felt meaningful relief after just a week of sessions and was thrilled to be able to correct my problems without surgery or medicines. I was impressed with how helpful chiropractic care could be. I've now been going for a few months and continue to improve each week. There are different types of therapies used to provide a multi-pronged plan. I've been able to see how each of these work hand in hand in healing. The communication methods are fantastic. The reminder texts and ability to respond back helps keeps all the appointments on track. I cannot recommend this practice enough!

I have been going for chiropractic care about half of my life, have received care in different States and Countries and one of the things that makes Harbourside stand out is that runs like a Swiss clock. Dr. B is very knowledgeable, professional and personable, providing realistic goals and recommendations. The staff is professional and personable, there are a couple of adjustment rooms and an area for PT and treatment tables. There is no fluff, it’s not fancy, this is not a spa nor a yoga studio, that’s for another day. : )

Experiencia fantástica: Visitor from Canada and I needed some work on my left knee. Harbourside took me in and discussed what was needed right away. They gave me electrical stimulation, ice pack and laser therapy. They were very professional and curteous. When I left, my knee felt a lot looser and pain level was decreased. I am going back to receive more therapy. I highly recommend their services. I will also get an MRI tomorrow of the knee that they need to see. I like that I can get all this done almost on demand. My back has been bothering me for a while and I happened to stop by Dr Brogna’s booth at the seafood festival in Caitlin Park. I spoke to Dr. Brogna because he was a chiropractor and I needed to find one. He explained that his office does things differently you just don’t go to get adjusted. I figured I would look into it. He was right, He prescribes a plan which helps straighten out your body and shows you ways to strengthen it through manual therapy, ultrasounds, ther.exercise and adjustments I have been going since March, twice a week, and feel almost pain free. I am actually doing better then Dr. Brogna expected me to be at this time.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you Dr. Brogna, Lenore, and Paul for taking such good care of me. 3 weeks and 2 days ago, I herniated my L5/S1 disc while warming up to do paused back squats at the gym. The pain was excruciating to say the least. I immediately went to Harbourside Chiropractic after my MRI the next day (see attached picture). After, 2 weeks, I was back in the gym doing light exercises. Yesterday, was my first full workout after the injury and I feel great!
