Experiencia fantástica: We got my daughter’s (4) ears pierced here in Powdersville and everyone was wonderful. They were patient with us and took their time to ensure we were all happy with placement and when piercing they were efficient while also getting them perfectly placed. They treated my daughter with respect and educated her about the care of her earrings as well as educating me. The place is very clean and the entire staff ooohhhh’d and ahhhh’d her after getting them done making her feel very special. She cried after the piercing and the had a bubble machine at the ready and a lollipop for her and gave us plenty of time in the room to recover afterwards.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been bringing my two children here for over a year now and recently have been very disappointed with the lack of concern shown for my sick children. We have brought in our children multiple times as there symptoms are not improving at all, but every time they say they cannot do anything except treat symptoms as they appear. They don’t seem to show any concern, they aren’t offering any treatment plans, and they’re basically saying our children will get over it eventually. This place is great for routine checkups and immunizations but forget bringing your sick children here.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been big fans of Parkside on Verdae for years, but since having triplets a year ago we’ve been going to the Powdersville location and we have been so pleased. We’ve seen multiple doctors and were impressed with all of them, but Dr. Heegard is our girl. Also there is a nurse there named Katharine who is amazing! Would def recommend bringing your children there

She took time to talk to me and answered questions so that I would not feel rushed. Parkside is a blessing—especially if you’ve had to deal with other medical offices and realize that they’re not all this easy to work with.

Experiencia positiva: The only problem I had was that I wanted to ask a couple of questions but Doctor Mc Nerras seem to be in a little rush. I would recommend Parkside Pediatrics to my friends and family in a scale 0 to 10 it would be 8 because of the Doctor being in a little rush. He is my foster child and I want him to get the best care before he goes back to his parents.

I feel valued as the parent and appreciate that they present options for our kids’ care and aren’t pushy, unless it’s absolutely necessary. We recommend Parkside to all of our friends, because we feel that the doctors, nurses, and staff truly care about our kids.

Experiencia positiva: Great experience for the first time visiting this location(Powdersville). Communication was awesome, they listen to my concerns and was able to explain in a way I could understand.

Experiencia negativa: I thought they were great, and provided a lot of options and locations to care for my baby. That is until there was a slight issue with my insurance coverage date. They made zero effort to contact me to let me know about the coverage issue, and instead cancelled my appointment. Because it was a billing issue, the barrage of texts and calls and emails I got when another appointment was cancelled due to snow never came. They said they left a voicemail but I don't have voicemail set up currently. They claimed they don't email or text when it comes to billing issues but they could have at least had the courtesy to try as hard to let me know this appointment was cancelled for billing issues as they did for weather. If they'd have done that, I could have taken care of it and my child could have been seen today. I'll get this billing situation sorted and of course they'll get their money but my kid didn't get seen and I won't get this day I took off work back. They made zero effort to work with me so my kid could get checked out. While a couple of the pediatricians and nurses were wonderful, this company only cares about money and not your child.

While we always want to see Dr.Dukes, you cannot go wrong with Dr.Mercer. This was our first visit to the Powdersville location and it did not disappoint. The 2 doctors at Powdersville are the best (the staff is amazing also) and we love them! It’s a small office which I love, and there is usually very little wait. My son loves going and the bubbles are a bonus! If you are on the fence, definitely give Parkside a try and you won’t be disappointed!

Experiencia negativa: I had to travel to Powdersville since was the only one with an open slot for my son as a sick add-on. The lobby for sick patients is way too small for social distancing and was told I could wait outside. My appointment was at 3pm and was still waiting to be called at 3:30. Who knows how long it will take before we see a doctor. No one communicated a delay in wait either.

Experiencia negativa: I have been going to Parkside for 12 years. I was so excited when they opened the office in Powdersville because it was so much closer to my home. It is the worst office. The staff are fine, but every time I have come, it takes way too long. Its ridiculous. Like wait in a room for an hour before the doctor will even come in ridiculous, for simple, basic appointment. Go to the Five Forks or Verdae office.

Experiencia negativa: I just spoke with the women at the front desk, I'm assuming, over the phone and was just needing a little advice from a nurse and due to never being seen there, they wouldn't even give the nurse my message. She was very nice however this is in no way good for business and extremely unprofessional I believe. They were refusing my business with them. Instead of just simply trying to help and possibly gaining a patient. I'm extremely confused and most certainly won't be recommending Parkside Pediatrics to anyone I know..
