Dr. Mary is so knowledgeable about all things chiropractic and health related, and visits to her office always result in “relief.” The staff is as pleasant and accommodating as they could be. I have never called without being given an appointment that fits my schedule, and if in pain, have always been accommodated the same day. Long ago story: My back was in spasm on New Years Day, and I couldn’t walk. I called the office to leave a message so I could catch their earliest appointment the next day. Dr Mary happened to be in the office doing paperwork, picked up the phone, and told me to come right in. On New Year’s Day! How compassionate is that.

I went to the ER and was told I had 2 bulging/herniated discs in my lower back causing a pinched nerve all the way down my leg into my foot. I was completely cramped up and hunched over. I couldn’t get out of bed for days. I called Hilltop in tears and spoke with Kortney. I explained my situation. She was so kind on the phone and was able to quickly get me an appointment. During the next few weeks, Dr. Mary and her staff tried several different methods of care, including laser therapy & massage, along with adjustments, until we found what worked best for me and my level of pain. I cannot say enough good things about this entire office and staff. They really saw me at my lowest this month and were all so helpful and caring. I went from using a cane just to be able to take a couple steps to now being back on my feet, literally, with almost zero pain! Hilltop is without question the best around. Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient of Dr. Mary Negri for a few years now. I first went to her years back after scheduling an emergency visit. Her office was the only place that got me in after calling around to multiple doctor's offices and being told there was noting available that day. I was experiencing extreme back pain due to muscle spasms. I couldn't stand up straight and honestly I was afraid to breathe because of how much pain I was in. Dr. Mary saw me that day and treated me. I was able to walk out of her office in much better shape than I had gone in. I have continued treatment with her occasionally since then. This past week, I woke up one morning in the same state of having terrible back muscle spasms. Again, I was afraid to breathe or move the wrong way due to how much pain I was in and not wanting to worsen anything further. I immediately called the office and was able to be seen by Dr. Mary within the hour. Due to my extreme pain level, this time she suggested laser treatment, which I was all for knowing how much she has helped me in the past. After just one laser treatment, I was able to walk easier and I was able to move much easier than when I had gone into the office. Aside from Dr. Mary Negri be a fantastic and knowledgeable chiropractor, she is also one of the sweetest humans you will ever meet! She genuinely cares for her patients and wants to make sure the treatment she provides is the best it can be and that it helps you to the fullest extent. Experiencia fantástica: I had never been to a chiropractor before, nor had a massage of any kind, so I was a little nervous when I first arrived at Dr. Negri's clinic. I had nothing to worry about. Filling out the paperwork beforehand helps, but they were patient and listened carefully when I explained my issues. I was very well taken care of by both the massage therapists and Dr. Negri- who cracked my back like a crab claw- which felt awesome! I thought that was something you only saw in videos! I had been experiencing pain in my back for 3 weeks and it had finally become intolerable. Even though she knows A LOT about the human body she won't treat you as if you know nothing. She listens and respects you and the entire practice is like family. Which is a big deal for me because I consider myself my biggest health care provider and to have someone who respects that in return is priceless! Just drive by and look at their business name sign. It's not crisp and clean. Weeds growing in plant box and garbage all over lawn. The entrance to your business should be spotless. Cmon if you can't keep your office and have curb appeal how can you take care of your patients.

We found out after our first visit she doesn't take our insure but has a more than reasonable fee. We chose to pay that fee out of pocket instead of finding someone in network! Experiencia fantástica: I have seen a multitude of chiropractors over the last 15 years for my scoliosis and neck problems. Dr. Negri is by far my favorite and is worth every penny!! She takes the time to listen, is thorough at every visit and tries new methods until she finds what works for you, not to mention their office hours are great. All the message therapists are also so knowledgeable and amazing at what they do! As far as the previous review stating their sign wasn’t “clean and crisp” and there was garbage at the entrance, I have no idea what they are talking about. They are off of route 15, so maybe someone through something out of their car window, but I have never seen garbage at the entrance and I’m here once a week.

Experiencia fantástica: Laser therapy works for me. I’ve had peripheral neuropathy in my feet and shin areas starting in 2012 and becoming progressively worse. Lack of feeling in my feet led to balance issues and some falls. I had numbness and tingling. Night pain caused difficulty sleeping. I was prescribed gabapentin for the pain but it wasn’t effective. Physical therapy helped compensate somewhat for the balance issues. Then about two years ago I tried Doctor Mary’s laser therapy. I could feel an immediate change. I started to regain feeling. The night pain subsided significantly. My balance improved. I stopped talking gabapentin. I’ve been going for treatment every 3 to 4 weeks for two years. I’m not “cured “ and need treatment to continue to address my issues. However, at this point I only have a problem with my left shin area. If anyone has similar symptoms, try Doctor Mary. You have nothing to lose an a lot to gain.

What I think I most respect about her is this; 20 years ago I was suffering with severe low back pain. She encouraged me to work together with her and my primary care physician. Then she actually gave me the name of a surgeon to contact. She told me to keep the name in my wallet and call him when I knew it was time. Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Dr Mary for over a year now. I'm 81 years old and when I first went I had terrible back pain. It was so bad that I really wondered if I would ever feel better. I've been going on a regular basis and I'm happy to say that I feel much better. I still don't feel like I'm twenty years old but I shoveled snow today without any bad effects and a year ago I would have never thought that possible. Dr Mary and her staff are great and I really feel that I'm able to lead a normal life because of their efforts. I have no problem leaving them the highest review possible.

Experiencia negativa: I was on the fence writing about this review to not hurt a business but honestly this has not been a pleasant place to deal with and there have been many lessons learned! After calling over the phone to confirm they take my insurance they state yes. So to clarify they are out of network for all insurance companies but will reduce the rate based on the type of insurance you have and charge $35 for an admin first visit fee. A little sneaky but fine if you plan on coming back.... an hour after my appointment I get let into the room. If you do the electric treatment on the back, I suggest doing it on the spot you feel the pain if its intense. I had intense pain so their method of doing the cross sections to hit the point of the pain didnt work. Dr herself was great. If you need a receipt detailing your visit make sure you get it there in person. I have been asking for one repeatedly this past week and still dont have the description of the visit with payment. The frustration of it all leads me writing this. Everyone is sweet but results would be sweeter!

On top of that she is absolutely delightful to speak to and albeit busy does not make you feel like you're being thrown down an assembly line (as in the conversation is delightful and not rushed at any point of the visit) As for the rest of the office, staff is professional, friendly, & down to earth. Don't let their laid back setting convince you they aren't both passionate and skilled at what they do. Co-Pay for Cigna is incredibly manageable. Though they didn't cure ALL of my life's woes, they just about hit the mark with a session including a massage, hot-cold blanket therapy, and then a satisfying re-alignment of my afflicted area. One or two more sessions and I might start to feel like Michalagelo's Statue of David.

I am a nurse and have a number of friends who are also nurses. I was told that Hilltop Lafayette Chiropractic is "where all the nurses go." Nurses tend to have back issues. Hilltop offers a warm and friendly staff with a pleasant environment. The massage therapists are highly skilled and knowledgeable.
