It’s really nice because it allows me to get what I need in a timely manner and get back to regular life without having to wait for an opening or spending more for urgent care. It’s super easy to make the appointment, no long wait times and they really make me feel heard and supported.

She always smiles and is so proficient and quick at getting me checked in and ready to see the doctor and makes it better it's all over zoom so I don't even have to leave the comfort of my house and sweatpants, "AWESOME". Dr. Trevino really listens to what I have to say and doesn't cut me off, I really appreciate that. I never leave my doctor's appointment wishing I had asked another question or not liking the answer I had gotten or anything like that I'm a disabled veteran so I'm not the easiest to work with sometimes so I really appreciate his patience with me lol. Dr Trevino is a great PCP, You won't be disappointed....

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Trevino was thorough, thoughtful, and well informed. He explained the care approach, the different lab tests he was ordering, and why we needed them. He did not rush me, and he asked detailed questions. The wait time was minimal and I was even able to schedule an appointment with his assistant right after I spoke with him, just like at an in person doctor's office. I would highly recommend this option for anyone who doesn't need a physical exam, although I believe they will soon be providing those at home as well! He's a fantastic doctor from what I can tell after one visit.

I have a very tight schedule and it is extremely convenient to skip the time sitting in a waiting room for my turn to see a doctor and instead being able to spend that time actually talking to a doctor. Even though visits are virtual, I feel like my doctor asks the questions that she needs answered to make an educated and accurate diagnosis. I know that my health is a priority for not only my doctor, but for the staff as well. I feel confident that whatever my health issue is, I receive the best treatment at Ascend Medical.

When I first saw him, I was unsure about what was happening with my body due to being in a domestic violence situation and moving from Georgia to Texas. Dr. Trevino and his team took the time to listen to me, understand my situation, and provide the necessary care. I can always rely on his staff to be kind and supportive, which means a lot to me. My healthcare has been consistent, and I trust Dr. Trevino to ensure I receive the best healthcare and referrals. He is the best doctor I have ever had, and I am extremely grateful for him.

Experiencia negativa: I have had several horrible experiences with Ascend. Trying to get an RX delivered that has already been paid for, trying to get the correct RX delivered that has already been paid for. They blame the pharmacy and when I called them, they had record of 8 times they called Ascend with no response. The last straw was sending 1 weeks worth of an RX yet billing me for 8. It’s been 6 weeks that I have been trying to get it resolved.

I was able to get an appointment with a doctor within a day to address my concerns via teleconference, they quickly prescribed my medicines. I also scheduled an in-home physical and it was so comforting to be in my own environment without having to wait at a Doctor’s office. Jennifer & Kristen were so helpful, so kind and personable, I felt well taken care of. I got blood drawn and had my appointment then went about my day without any hiccups or having to drive. Loved it!

Experiencia negativa: Reaching anyone via phone is next to never. They're NOT available 24/7 as claimed on their site. The only alternative for communicatimg is a portal where remote Navigators ignoramously respond to your messages. Have never felt so unsafe with a healthcare organization. When a multitude of remote administrative staff, who have limited knowledge of your history and health issues, are allowed to insert their uninformed and misguided judgement in your care, all trust is lost. It's extremely unethical and disrespectful. My health deteriorated from the overelwhelming stress, anxiety and frustration caused by this organization.

When I say “service,” that is exactly what we received! Everyone was so nice, thorough, and kind. Plus, it was super-fast, way less time than going into a germ-filled doctor’s office, and from the comfort of my home (I also didn’t spread germs to other patients, which is a nice feeling). We’re switching to Ascend as our primary care provider, just as soon as this Tamiflu kicks in! Thank you, Ascend Medical!
