Experiencia negativa: My insurance ended in a way that seemed I did still have insurance. I found out after going to my last appointment. I submitted the incurred bill to my new HSA, meanwhile getting periodic billing statements from this office for the same visit. Eventually HSA covers the payment but I still get a call from practice threatening to charge a fee and send me to collection agency even though they had payment but were awaiting a paper check from my HSA, instead. Never going back.

Experiencia negativa: I have been a patient here for years. I previously saw Dr. Vicky before she came to these offices. I followed her to Donnell when she switched & continued w/her for overa decade. Dr. Vicky retired & I started seeing a different provider here. While attending law school, I didn't have time to get my chiropractic care. I barely had time to sleep, w/ the schedule I had, I definitely didn't have time to keep up on non-urgent care. I called to set up an appointment to return ASAP, because one of the major issues I was getting treatment for was acting up so bad, I can barely move right now. I used to be able to get a same day appointment, but I wanted to call just to make sure I could get in. The AWFUL girl on the phone (3:12pm-ish 10/2/24...I think he name was Kim) tells me that since it had been since 2021 (the beginning of law school) since the last time I came in, I would be considered a "new patient." After 3yrs people are considered new patients. "Ok...? So what do I need to do to get seen ASAP, because I can barely move right now." She then tells me, "well, we aren't taking new patients with your insurance right now." "What? So I've been attending these offices for over a decade, but because of a technicality that makes me considered a 'new patient,' the insurance that I have ALWAYS been able to use here is now something you are refusing to take? But you have other patients at the office with the exact same insurance, but because I wasn't able to come in for a while, I'm forced to be considered a new patient, even though I've been coming here for over a decade?" She tells me, "If you had come anytime in the last year, you wouldn't be considered a new patient." "Again, I was in my last year of law school & didn't have time for anything else, unless it was an urgent or emergency situation. I couldn't come in." She then tells me that they would "allow me to be seen, if [I] wanted to pay out of picket for my treatments." (Not new patient exam, but treatments) "So because of a technicality that makes me considered a 'new patient,' & despite being seen at these offices for over a decade, and despite the fact that you actually accept my insurance, you won't take my insurance because I am technically considered a new patient now, even though I'm not? Absolutely not. I would never support a business that does stuff like that. I would never pay cash to a business that does that. Absolutely not." And the woman hung up on me! No curiosity call to let me know, "hey, just so you know, we see that you haven't been in for a while, and if you aren't able to make it in by xzy date, then you won't be able to use your insurance here anymore." Nothing. A patient for over a decade, and the woman hung up on me when I said I wouldn't give them cash. If Dr. Vicky was still practicing, then I would have considered paying cash. If something happened and they were unable to take my insurance at all, regardless of whether or not I was a "new patient," I would consider paying cash. But this was ridiculous. Absolutely not. I still can barely move. Since not all of '21 was 3yrs ago, I called back to talk to management. I asked when my last visit was, b/c Oct-Dec wouldn't be 3yrs yet. The manager said it was actually 2yrs not 3, & the last time I was in was April "21 (right before finals my 2nd semester). She then confirmed what the other girl said & was unwilling to work w/ a unique situation like mine. She also barely acknowledged that the girl hung up on me. I'm logical, I understand not take brand new patients, but someone considered "new" due to a technicality, who has been attending these offices for over a decade? That doesn't make sense. Especially since they still accepted my insurance, they just don't take "new" patients w/ my insurance. Oh yeah, she also snidely said, "well it's probably bad because you skipped." That doesn't help. None of that is patient-centered-care. It's financial-driven care. Zero stars. I will never again recommend these offices. Too bad too, because I WAS recommending them.

Experiencia negativa: I hurt my back and tried to get in for an adjustment and was told I was no longer a patient. I was told I had to wait for a new patient slot to open, which also came with a higher fee. What a poor way to run a business. The few times I was there for adjustments I thought he did a good job but I'm not paying new patient fees, x-rays...again when they already have it. Unfortunately, I likely won't be back.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Donnell straightens out my back regularly. He's great at listening to what's going on and adjusting with great care of his patients.

Experiencia fantástica: First visit was asked where the pain was and adjusted accordingly. Did a great hip adjustment which I felt immediately. Having hip surgery soon and it has caused issues in my back and this helped so much. Also had X-rays the first visit, and instead of saying that I needed this and that he said it actually looked pretty decent. Seems honest and listens to you. Nothing is a cure all but he definitely helped and I will be returning. Check it out if you’re in pain.

Experiencia negativa: It seemed like I was led to the back, pushed on, and then sent home. Nothing was explained, no recommendations as to when to come back, it was all up to me to ask for another visit. I went a total of three times and decided to find another clinic. Their merchandise was pushed, understandably, but it was left up to me to diagnose myself and ask for what I thought I needed. I got some VERY expensive shoe inserts from them that I discovered was causing knee pain, so I took them out. Even though I have paid at every visit, apparently there was an issue with their billing system and now I have to go back and pay them more money. I would not recommend this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: My girls Marissa, Khelsey and I have seen Dr Caleb for many years he is always so kind and always knowledgeable and makes us feel comfortable and safe during adjustments! We think he is the very best!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Been to a lot of chiropractors over the last 24 years. Some great, some terrible. I've been to two other chiros in the Kalamazoo area that were either worthless or put me in serious pain requiring me to go to the doctor. Donnell is the best chiropractor I've had, been going to him for nearly 10 years now and his treatments are very effective. I'm a scientist myself and appreciate that he doesn't peddle a bunch of quack science and pseudo-immunology on you like so many of them do. My first visit was an X-ray where he was trying to objectively determine what was wrong.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very impressed the doctor was very knowledgeable and caring. He did a few x-rays and did an examination that was very thorough.Then he did some Adjustments. I was very impressed initially but I will say no one at the practice wears a mask and when I was talking to Dr. Adam about Covid he said if you’re going to get sick you’re going to get sick and that more people die from flu than Covid so I have to really wonder.I will never go there again without a mask on. These may be his own personal beliefs but I can see that no one wears a mask there so I assume Dr.Adam is not vaccinated. I have gone to a few other medical appointments in the last few months due to my headaches and other medical issues.Every other place requires a mask and they’re all masked.

Experiencia fantástica: After suffering from neck pain and stiffness for approximately 4 weeks, I finally called for an appointment. I was in so much pain I was actually sick to my stomach. I was so thankful to get a next day appointment! I arrived at their beautiful new office and was greeted kindly by Kim. The registration process was quick and easy. I only waited about 5 minutes to be called back by Dr Donnell. We had a brief discussion about my problem and then a physical exam. That led to x-rays and finally an adjustment. This being my first time ever seeing a Chiropractor, it was quite an experience. Dr Donnell was kind, caring, professional, and explained everything well. I was always afraid to go to a Chiropractor, but I can already feel a difference, so I will gladly go to my next appointment! Thank you again for getting me in quickly and for a great first experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I had visited a few chiropractors in the past with minimal success. However, I was having back pain while at work and thought I would try again. I had met Dr. Donnell outside of his practice and knew him a little but had no idea he was a chiropractor. Once I found out, I decided to give him a try. I am so happy that I did. Besides my back, I had a clicking in my hip and a little neck and shoulder pain. After my very first visit I felt immediate relief. I returned a second time and it only got better. This man knows what he is doing. He was extremely patient, friendly and knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed at all. To top it off, The lady working the front desk was patient and helpful as well. To say the least, I highly recommend Dr. Donnell. If you are looking for a chiropractor, you should give this practice a try. I hope that, when you do, you have the same awesome experience as I have had.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a bout with sciatica and my doctor was recommending back surgery. After discussing this with my family, we decided to go to a chiropractor instead. Dr. Donnell got me right fast and I haven't had a sciatic issue since. My wife has had a slip and fall which threw her back way out of alignment. Even caused her to have sciatica issues as well. I praised Dr. Donnell so much, she wsnt to see him. Her disc is moving back into place, her sciatic flare ups, as a result to her back injury, have eased. And a lot of other issues she's had are going away. We both think Dr. "D" is the TRUTH!! The staff on hand are friendly and awesome! They really listen to you.

I decided to try out Donnell and was immediately led through the entire process and felt at ease. The doctor listened to my concerns and adjusted treatment as needed. He also gave me ideas of how best to care for myself at home and at work. The biggest difference I found with the Donnell office is they actually act like a medical office and treat you well. There is a masseuse here for massages also. I will write a review on her after I see her for the 1st time on the 29th. Today I am here for a pulled muscle near my ribcage. I am in excruciating pain. It hurts even 2 just breathe, all of this pain and its Thanksgiving Tommorow..I am hoping that doctor Donnell can get me atleast comfortable so that I can enjoy the holiday. I will update you all tomorrow as to how I feel then. Dr Donnell squeezed me in last minute today bc they knew I was In pain. The receptionists here r also very kind and down to earth.
