Experiencia negativa: I do not care for this facility…they were constantly rescheduling my husband and I due to staffing turnover and their staff & patient illness policy. I then tried to cancel an appointment because I had just gone to urgent care for a UTI and happened to also have an allergic cough…they heard the cough told me I had to quarantine for 10 days and cancelled my appointments. I asked if I could get a Covid test and they said no go. I switched to Select PT, and found out In Motion therapists missed diagnosing a pinched nerve that was also contributing to my issue!

Experiencia negativa: This has been the most unprofessional experience of my life. Originally everything was great. They were able to accommodate my schedule with a late evening appointment. Until the day of my new patient appointment. I get a voicemail stating they didn't get my benefits until the day of my appointment and my insurance required preauthorization and they did not have it and cancelled my appointment. I received a letter at home about a week and a half later saying it had been approved. No call from the doctor office. I ending up waiting another week (almost 3 weeks past my originally appointment date) and they stated they did not receive my authorization. They then said I would have to call my insurance to tell them to refax to their office. I was absolutely appalled. I worked as a receptionist for a PT office in Hampton Roads for 4 years. You dont tell the patient that THEY need to call. YOU call! It is YOUR JOB to make sure you have authorization. But I called twice to insurance and they said they faxed it over twice. I finally got fed up and told the receptionist I would not call again and that they needed to take care of it. They then asked if I still had Tricare. I havent had Tricare in 10+ years and did not provide this information to them. They then tried to say they didnt have the order from my referring physician, which is a lie because they called ME to set up the appointment! FINALLY, they get everything straightened out but they no longer have a therapist for late evening appointments. I am beyond angry and will NEVER go to InMotion EVER and I will not be recommending them to anyone I know. Front desk staff wasnt necessarily rude, but extremely incompetent. Worst experience EVER.

Experiencia negativa: Physical Therapist Akihiro Hiyama is excellent - very knowledgeable and personable. However, Bon Secours charges anywhere from $900- $2300 for a 45-minute session! Insurance pays most of it, but my co-pay is about $200 per visit - totally INSANE! Physical therapy at close to $3000 an hour for back issues??? Crazy!

Experiencia positiva: After afew hiccups with Schering and misunderstandings with insurance and clerical, I was able to start my therapy. The front manager followed up with me and put alot of effort into resolving the issues, which I appreciate... Emily, the PT that worked with me was extremely friendly and explained all of the exercises step by step. I'm extremely happy that I stuck it out and did not switch to a new Physical Therapy practice.

Experiencia negativa: The care was excellent and I had big improvements after 7 visits. However, the way the billing was done with my insurance was not correct. They first sent this to my secondary carrier. The therapeutic exercises were charged at 369.02 which finally resulted in me paying about $1900 in spite of going through 2 insurances for 7 sessions. I agree that I should have inquired about the cost upfront and that the insurance companies share the blame. However, BonSecors billing department was not at all helpful and hence the low rating. I wish their billing was as good as their physiotherapy staff.

Experiencia negativa: I went to an appointment after calling and telling the receptionist I was going to be about 15 minutes late due to having to work over. I get there can’t be seen because the grace period “is over.” I’m also informed this is the 4th time I have been late. Mind you this is only the SECOND time in my life I have been there and the FIRST time was for an evaluation. However I missed a grace period but have two different voicemails on my phone of them canceling appointments with me because of “double booking” and “didn’t notice I would be out of office.” Mind blown. Wouldn’t refer them if they were the last place on earth to get therapy. I feel sorry for people who actually know nothing about body parts and actually have to trust “companies” like this.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately the receptionist they have representing them deferred me from using them. They are the first people we as patients encounter. If they have poor customer service it doesn’t give me much hope for the rest of the staff. Might want to reconsider the staffing of the people who answer the phones.

Experiencia negativa: Doctors are nice and professional but the receptionist isn’t apart of the team.. when trying to set an appointment it seems like she has a hard time with being patient with people setting an appointment. When I was trying to set an appointment with my doctor she kept trying to rush me off the phone and didn’t even let me finish my sentence without hanging up on me. The first time I went there she did the same thing to me and was talking and laughing at the patients that were there. I don’t know where they hire these people but it’s making y’all look bad and y’all really need to hire people who have patience and understanding i can’t even set an appointment without the receptionist rushing me off the phone or have a decent conversation without her cutting me off mid sentence

Experiencia fantástica: Outstanding facility! Jenny, my physical therapist is a fabulous clinician. She was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about how to approach my injury. She set realistic goals and provided exceptional care throughout my many weeks of care. Clear explanations and education allowed me to easily comply with at-home assignments. Appointments were convenient. Facility is unbelievably clean. There was someone always disinfecting equipment, hand washing, etc. if I ever need PT, this is the place and Jenny is the therapist!

I keep getting bills for payments I have made, have had to call multiple times and am assured that everything is paid and then a couple weeks later, I get another bill for the same dates of service that I already called about. Its unfortunate that such a nice facility with quality therapists has such a bad billing department that negatively impacts the experience.
