Experiencia fantástica: I have been to approximately 20 chiropractors. And this was the best adjustment i've ever had. I Had to stop running four years ago because of burning pain in my right hip, knee and foot I went to another chiropractic had x rays taken and he adjusted one or two vertebrae, every visit and I never felt any better ,it was totally ineffective, I went to Rick and one visit he adjusted my entire back and pelvis, I have had complete relief from the burning pain. First time in four years. Thanks Rick!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Being a college student looking for a new practice when I was in dire need of adjustments, I am super grateful for finding Ames Chiropractic and Wellness Center with Dr. Andrew and Amy the receptionist. The only two employees and open three times a week. He knows around 20 different adjusting methods and my body has responded extremely well with the adjustments. The first two appointments you will not be adjusted as you will do x-rays so Dr. Andrew can personalize your body’s adjustment needs. The second appointment is explaining the x-rays and giving you a custom plan. The custom plan is the quickest way for you to recover, but you do not have to follow the custom plan if finances are tight. Dr. Andrew adjusts so well, I only need to go once every two weeks. He does adjust more aggressively than my chiropractor at home, but just let him know on your comfort levels as he is flexible. I have learned a lot about not only my own body and its tendencies, but the human body just by going to appointments. It has been cool to see Dr. Andrew growing his family since I have been a patient (second child this September) for around a year now.

However my boyfriend was in a lot of pain and found Dr. Andrew and he has helped both of us a tremendous amount! I used to get terrible headaches, but I hardly ever have them now. Especially, since I was getting back to lifting weights and working on strengthening my knee after an ACL and meniscus injury. Let me just say that Dr. Anthofer is absolutely awesome and so kind. I’ve been to many chiropractors, but he’s literally one of the best I’ve ever been to. Dr. Anthofer is very knowledgeable and he takes the the time to show and explain to you how everything works and why your body is feeling a certain way and how to fix it. I’ve been to places where it’s all about the money, but Dr. Anthofer is the complete opposite. Once I got adjusted by him, I was feeling a lot better than at other places. Not only that, Nicole, at the front desk, is so awesome and super sweet too! She makes sure to work with you to figure out a schedule that can work for you to come in and get seen. I was so sad that I had to leave to go back to my home duty station cause these are some awesome people. Please don’t hesitate try this place out!!!!

I 100% trust him; "Dr. A" and believe in what he is trying to accomplish! That being said, I recently had a knee issue that "I" was certain needed orthopedic attention. The pain was unbearable and I didn't want him to even look at it! Knowing me, and being my primary Dr. He didn't give me that luxury. He took time even with an office full of other patients to talk to me, to understand the situation. He assured me that this was not an orthopedic issue and I needed to learn from my prior mistakes, an issue with my neck that I wish I had gone to him for. I went twice that week and by the third visit was 75-80% better! I will continue to listen to him and probably fight him all the way like most of us that think "WE" know what is best.

After physical therapy wasn't helping and 5 ibuprofen pills a day weren't working, I finally made that call for an appointment 2 years after the accident. I was hesitant because I don't trust just anyone with my neck and back. I had an old sport injury back in highschool and remembered the chiropractor that fixed me then. Looked him up and come to find out he had just retired, and Dr. Andrew took over. I heard sweet Nicole's voice on the other end and I am so thankful I made the call. Furthermore, without any x-rays he cracked my neck HARD leaving me with a headache for DAYS. I was in so much pain after leaving his office. I will not be returning and highly recommend not goi g here.

I work in landscaping and the military which involves a lot of lifting and bending. I usually try to get in at least once a month to maintain everything and it works well for me.
