Experiencia fantástica: My daughter is going for swimming lessons, she liked it very much. Coaches are very good and the pool is maintained well. Me and my husband took membership for gym. We are doing very good. Classes are very flexible that we can attend whatever we like and perfect timings. Only thing is i felt Zumba class is little boring as they are teaching salsa than more of Zumba. Usually Zumba is fast paced, but in here it was very slow and boring.

Experiencia negativa: This place is inflexible when it comes to your membership. My medicare pays the membership for this place, however, they hold me hostage and forces me to pay privately under the initial one year period. Who cares how they get the premium, they get paid, they would rather hold you hostage than change the paperwork. FitOn Health is not honored if you are on your initial one year period. What a stupid rule since they can just change the contract to be paid by medicare. Their customer service is not good. I have waited for call backs which never came. Be aware of the rules.

Any time I have an issue I speak to Dominic at the front desk and he helps resolve the issue. He’s also given me a lot of insight into the personal training options that are available.

Experiencia fantástica: This gym is my second home, and the staff might as well be my second family—they’re that friendly! The group fitness and Yoga classes are top-notch. This gym has been a total game changer for me! I love coming between 9 AM and noon, but honestly, the main reason I joined in the first place was the amazing child care. It’s a lifesaver, and the staff there are so kind and attentive. Plus, the cleanliness here excels with how gross the kids and toys can be. I leave feeling stronger, and I can actually relax knowing my little one is in great hands. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I joined ClubWorx about a year ago and an fortunate to have found an excellent trainer in Gaby. She has worked with me in strength training and conditioning and has improved my posture and overall health. Gaby has taken the time to do research on any issues I have so she can make changes in my workout plan to address those concerns. For example, my knees have been the biggest issue. Gaby took the time to watch how I move to notice I favor one side of my body over the other and why so she can change how I do workouts to maintain equal strength. She has also modified and/or added additional workouts for me to do at home to strengthen other parts of my body so I put less stress on my knees. I think Gaby’s greatest strength is how well she listens to her clients, identifies issues, and comes up with a plan to make corrections. I highly recommend and value Gaby and the ClubWorx team. With Gaby’s persistence, I’m looking forward to joining a few classes as I know it will help me toward reaching my physical health goals.

It's a comfortable, non-judgmental environment with lots of programs and services available. I joined primarily to find a trainer to help me get back on track and to develop a sustainable exercise program that would build strength. Lisa Frey has been amazing. She's patient, professional, and provides great support. Most importantly, she constantly adjusts what I'm doing to meet my individual needs and ensures that everything is done safely and effectively.

Shout out to Lisa Frey for getting me to love kettle bells (well, not hate them as much), Mica for making every Monday worth, getting up for, Christine her gentle persuasion to keep strengthening my core, and Heidi for challenging me to keep working on that balance. Beyond that, I have found this to be a place to make new friends. Hope to continue my workouts here for years to come.

Great Water Aerobics instructors Sabrina, Kelly, Amy, Alma, Joan will give you a great workout in the pool. Come to an open house & meet some of these people & and tour this beautiful, clean gym. Experiencia fantástica: I started with Clubworx earlier this year and my experience has been wonderful. I have never been a gym going person or understood the importance of working on muscles or strength. My personal trainer Gabby has been a great influence on bringing a balance to my life. She always explains to me why I am doing which exercise and what will be it's benefits. We do in body analysis every month to track progress and I have been able to lose around 10 lbs. In addition to personal training, I enjoy the variety of classes that Clubworx offers from advanced yoga to Pilates to Zumba to sprint to creative mix of exercise forms. I truly enjoy the club and would recommend to anybody looking to transform the quality of their life. I look forward to going to the gym everyday even on my travel days. Gabby ends up providing me with custom routines on the days I'm travelling. So, I incorporate some movement in my day.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this gym. I have been a member for a very long time and they do nothing but improve. From the classes to training, to cross fit and nutrition They are there to assist. They have great instructors, the gym is clean, and the equipment updated. They even have two pools with classes and free swim. You can go whenever if fits in your schedule. They have get togethers for the members and also raise money for the community. It has a convenient and location in Fuquay is easy. They have a great smoothies bar for when your on the run. I have even done physical therapy in the same building. What more can you ask for? check them out!

I recently signed up for personnel training to give my workouts a boast. My trainer, Dominic Dattolo, has really help me improve my core and overall strength. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to improve their workouts.

It has a variety of classes to meet every fitness level. Instructors such as Heidi, Kelly and Deanna to name a few, are well prepared and make their classes fun and challenging for attendees. Most importantly, the friendly atmosphere with other members creates a family type atmosphere that the other gyms I have attended seem to lack. The equipment is well maintained and the locker rooms are the best in the area. If your looking for an exercise home, try it, I think you'll like it.

Experiencia fantástica: We've been Clubworx members for 7 years & have always been happy with our decision to join. Clubworx is a top notch fitness club. The variety & quality of the workout equipment (all new in 2022/23), the 2 pools (indoor & outdoor) & the basketball courts are all excellent & well maintained. The membership fee includes a plethora of fitness & water based classes to choose from. They also provide small group training, 1:1 personal training & cross-fit training at a very reasonable additional cost. The facility is very large & spacious in the various exercise areas & never feels crowded. The entire facility is well kept & very clean. And finally, the entire staff is great!

Experiencia fantástica: When my alarm goes off in the morning, I usually don’t want to get up, but when I tell myself I’ll be glad I did because I’m going to Clubworx for a class, I get out of bed. There is always a choice of activities, yoga, strength training, swimming, machine workouts, cycling. I also can count on having knowledgeable and fun teachers. Heidi and Corrin are wonderful yoga teachers, each bringing their own style to the practice. Lisa is a great strength trainer creating varied workouts each week. I particularly enjoy having the option of swimming in the indoor or outdoor pool. The staff is always pleasant, the locker room is well maintained considering the number of members. I’ve been a member from the start(when it was Big Ape Gym) and through the years as names and locations changed. I’m very happy to have such a facility to keep me fit… and at my age that’s a wonderful thing.

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this gym. It’s clean, the classes are wonderful and the daycare has been great for my kids plus it’s affordable. Sauna is awesome as well. We never used the outdoor pool so we can’t speak to that! The only downside is that there’s no afternoon childcare from 1-4pm but I plan around that.

I wanted to strengthen my Core to help my back & Heidi's class has really helped me. On her recommendation I started Yoga at ClubWorx as well. Not only did I come to him with 3 herniated discs in my neck but he gave me exercises to strengthen the areas around that were causing the problem. For over a year and a half I have been in uncomfortable, pain. Dominic gave me exercises that helped me strengthen & use muscles I didn’t even know I had. After our sessions I felt stronger but most of all I am putting of surgery & feel so much more comfortable! Job well done

They got a bunch of yoga styles, and I really enjoy them all, especially the aqua yoga in the pool. The BodyBalance class is awesome too – it's like a mix of yoga, tai chi, and Pilates, and it makes me feel really good after.

The instructors at ClubWorx are excellent – patient, skilled, and really great with kids. The lessons were always well-organized, and my children made tremendous progress. The transition to the Sharx was seamless, thanks to the solid foundation they built in the lessons. Overall, a great experience. Experiencia negativa: The gym itself isn’t that bad but watch yourself with the contract. If you sign, you’re STUCK for a year. No exceptions. So if you’re ok with that then by all means go ahead, but just know you’re locked in.

Experiencia positiva: I really enjoy this facility. They have all the amenities that I want for my family - nice weights, lots of classes, basketball courts, childcare, outdoor and indoor pool. They are making some really nice upgrades that we are excited about and we love supporting this local business in our community. However, their billing is probably the most bizarre thing I’ve ever experienced in a gym. They have options - single, couple or family membership. But the family membership doesn’t include childcare (that’s separate), so we have to do a couple membership plus childcare, but now we have to add on a pool membership for the summer because we don’t have the family membership. It’s very confusing. And I’ve seen first hand how poorly explained this is amongst the staff. I understand this is how their business operates but I think it’s worth new customers knowing how confusing it is before they commit to a yearly contract! Otherwise, I have been so happy to have a place like this to go to - we live in Angier and it’s the closest and best option for our family.

Experiencia negativa: very unprofessional, the staff is obviously clueless, went to the pool with my kids. and they saw me with pool floaties etc, but didn't tell me that the entrance from the locker room was closed. They have three people at the front who were just busy chit-chating, totally clueless, and the woman with all white hair, she was extremely rude. Please train your employees how to act professionally. Save your money and go elsewhere

My only con would be that due to the limited amount of “stations” in the weight floor (while there is great variety); people who superset across stations/machines will definitely disrupt your workout. Problem everywhere, but definitely more-so here. If you go at a non-busy time it is not an issue!! Other than that I’d HIGHLY recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Don't waste your money on the group swim lessons. Your child will not be able to swim after a month. It's cheap for a reason. Do private lessons or go somewhere else. The kids don't get enough attention to swim on there own. They barely swim 6 feet from the side of pool with instructor holding onto them. I'm looking into other options to get my child swimming. I know every child is different, but watching these kids, they need to do more. At least go to the end of pool and back, then it might be worth it. They could have another instructor sit with them while they do that. But they don't. I'll be taking my other child elsewhere too.

Been here for years and always a pleasure dealing with the folks there. I love how they always have the gear needed to meet fitness goals. Always have special classes available and CrossFit for everyone as well! Highly recommended!!!!

Experiencia positiva: 3 stars for potential. We paid for an annual membership in advance expecting a good experience. Unfortunately, although there are a lot of workout machines, they are not always operational and have "Not in service" signs hung on them. This happened several visits in succession for the machines that were important to me. When i inquired as to the reason, it seems that it was because they didn't have the spare parts. Mostly the part that need replacement was the foam roller on the contact part of the machine. You would think they would have a good stock of those since they wear out the quickest. We did use the pool however so not all was lost. The availability of the machines did not justify the expense to only use the pool, so we did not renew the membership. My advice would be to try and get a trial membership or be able to cancel out at any time. Paying for amenities that aren't available consistently is not good sense.

Experiencia negativa: I am so disappointed with ClubWorx! I was excited to get back to exercising after getting my vaccine, but when I went, I found that only a handful of people were wearing masks, and of those, many were wearing them incorrectly, including those in the kids center. With the increase in covid numbers and the lack of mask wearing, I decided I did not feel safe going or bringing my kids until the numbers lowered again, so I called to place my membership on hold as they allowed during the initial covid time. I was informed by Holly that they require a doctor's note that explains I'm immunocompromised or a similar reason to not be able to work out at this time, which will be reviewed by corporate who could decide my reason doesn't qualify. So instead of trying to have a safe place for all of us, or allowing those of us who are uncomfortable with the current way things are going to be able to put things on hold, they are requiring what they consider an acceptable doctor's note, I guess "I really don't feel like dying" isn't a good enough reason!

Experiencia negativa: Me and my friend went up there (we are minors) and they told her she was not able to wear her swim suit because it was not “family friendly”. It was a regular bikini and there were others that here who were flatter and able to swim. this is very disappointing considering she is a minor and was sexualized by the staff.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled a pool lane for this morning at 5am. Showed up at 4:55 to try and get ready to give me a full hour in the pool (staff said this is normal), but the doors were still locked and the lights were off. I had the patience to wait for a half hour before I left. I scheduled a time with a person over the phone during normal posted business hours and no one ever showed up to open the building. I have patience for a lot, but don’t steal 1:30 hours of sleep from me. This was my first and only visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Really enjoy coming here! It’s surprisingly not super crowded. I can always use any equipment I want. If anyone is super setting equipment, they always let you work a set in if you ask. Everyone I’ve encountered follows gym etiquette and is very friendly here. I never feel out of place in any way here. Equipment is clean and updated periodically too. The classes are tough but a great workout if that’s your thing! It’s close to my house which is a plus. Ignore the bad reviews, it’s a gym that functions like a gym should.

Experiencia negativa: Please don’t go there if you’re black or non-white. This is the rudeness place ever. My husband and I walked in today with intentions on getting a membership and were met with awkward stares from the staff and the members at this gym. The lady at the front desk kindly explained to us that the membership had several options and took our temperature then instructed us to talk to Candace ( OMG) this lady was very rude. I stopped by her desk and stood in the hallway and requested more info and did not receive any feedback from her. PLEASE DON’T GO HERE!!

Experiencia fantástica: I signed up Yesterday Feb 10th.. My first day was the 11th & I’ve NEVER had as much support in my life. Jackie & her boss were AWESOME from the time I stepped foot in the door. I’m well over weight right now, but just seeing how nice these guys are motivates me to keep coming back! They walked me to my class, introduced me to the instructor & invited me back the next day for another workout. WOW! The amount of support is so great. I love this place!!

Experiencia negativa: They have two pools which is good during the summer. The gym has some good trainers, the problem comes when you want to swim laps or your child is taking swim lessons right before the water aerobics classes. If their class starts at 9:30, at 9 they are climbing in the pool while lessons are going on and people are swimming laps. they start taking down the lane dividers and start getting in the pool and standing in the lanes so people can't swim. The managers and the owner refuses to do anything about it. If you want somewhere kid friendly. Go somewhere else. For some reason the water aerobics class can run people out of the pool anytime they want. They don't allow the swim team or any other pool activity to jump in and take over the previous time. Very poor customer service.

Experiencia negativa: Probably by far one of the worse places that I ever been to to swim! My friend who had a membership to this place invited me to swim with her ( also keep in mind that I am a African American female who is plus sized. And my friend is white, but she is very developed. ) the costumers over at the place made me felt soo uncomfortable.. there was unpleasant stares coming my way, and they were just so disrespectful. Not only 15 minutes from being at the place me and my friend gotten an complaint that was totally uneeded and petty claiming that we were taking inappropriate photos of one another (( basically trying to say we were opposing child pornography) and claiming that we were posing “ inappropriately “ there’s so many girls who go to my school who goes over there and take pictures towards one another. But the difference was that they are petite girls. But they never get a complaint. But it’s an issue when girls with meat on their body to take a flick. On top of that we were trying so hard to adjust our selfs so we won’t show as much because it was already bad we were getting rude stares from even walking into the place. We even went to the manager about it, and she was nothing but rude towards us. It’s sad that the teens working at club worxs are more help and nicer than the authority’s who can’t even be civil or lenient. So if I were any of you guys who are reading this bad review, I suggest you to take your money somewhere else!! This so called “ family friendly” place is not so family friendly at all. That place is nothing but full of rude conservative petty adults!!! Your welcome.
