Experiencia fantástica: The gG location in Cedar Falls has some spectacular staff members. I was greeted with smiling faces and helpful staff as soon as I walked in the door. I didn't feel rushed at my PT treatments with my evaluation or my pool session. I was given the opportunity to make more appointments, but was also given home exercises for at home and in the pool as well. I will share my experience with friends and family & strangers. Experiencia fantástica: I've been to a million physical therapists, and none compare to my experience at Agape over the past six months. I had a rare and intense surgery that folks had to read up on, yet everyone I saw had done their research. I also have Ehlers-Danlos and have received care that was consistently conscious of this--rare regardless of where you go. Everyone is personable and genuinely takes an interest in getting you back up and running.

They're also knowledgeable in a variety of health concerns and really listen to me about things I've been gaslighted by other providers about before. Obviously certain things in PT can be awkward or look goofy but they don't make you feel weird at all. I'm so glad I'm doing PT & even happier I chose Agape to do it with.

Experiencia fantástica: After just two therapy sessions I feel better. I had foot surgery six weeks ago and my doctor recommended physical therapy. My chiropractor, Jake Hanson at Hanson Chiropractic, recommended Agape therapy on Viking. I was immediately impressed with the spa-like feel. It's very modern and private. Deb and Amy both have been amazing. They listen well, truly help, and have treatments and ideas I would have never thought of. The whole body is cared for, not just one part. I have been to places like AthletiCo, but Agape Therapy is in a different league. Incredible. I'm so thankful to have found it.

Experiencia fantástica: The therapy with Agape has been the most helpful! These sessions were customized to my problems. My PT listened to what I said, and asked about what I do. She gave me therapy/ exercises for things I do daily, and to help strengthen what is weak. She showed me how to correctly do these task so I don’t hurt myself. Highly recommended from someone who didn’t think this would help.

They really pay attention to your issues and put in the effort to effectively address them. I've had three visits so far and I come away each time feeling better about my progress.

Experiencia negativa: The people are great, but they are a health care setting that does not mandate that patients wear masks, which is close to negligent in the middle of a pandemic, especially when patients receive physical therapy in an enclosed setting. Thank you, Agape, for your thoughtful reply to my post. Respectfully, I believe Agape has made a health care compromise in the face of a virus that does not compromise. Again respectfully, guidelines from the AMA and the CDC recommend mandating masks in addition to social distancing. The recommendation does not say "wear masks unless someone says they don't want to." And in a healthcare setting, with patients who may have medical conditions, providing therapy in an enclosed setting... it is very very hard to justify not mandating masks. If a patient is unable to wear a mask for medical reasons, that is why everyone else needs to wear masks. They also could and should be seen in an isolated room. So, again, thank you for your thoughtful reply, but I believe Agape at present is making a healthcare compromise that it will look back on and say, what were we thinking?

The only thing I wish that was different just to give an honest review is the very Christian atmosphere that feels a little forced/biased against other beliefs... (It's hard not to listen to the worship radio if you prefer not to) It is however worth attempting to ignore those things and getting the help from the wonderful people there .

If you are interested in being well, this team will help you reach your goals. The physical therapists are committed to education and up to date practices, and use a variety of individualized approaches when treating their patients. The PTs and massage therapist at Agape have helped me more than any physician has when it comes to sports related injuries and issues.

Experiencia fantástica: This place offers many different types of therapy for pretty much anything you can think of. I saw 2 different physical therapists before going here. The first one sent me to a specialist after 2 weeks, then after a month with the specialist I could barely walk. Eventually I ended up here. My only regret is I didn't go here first. The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable.

Experiencia positiva: I went here for my shoulder ache partially based on the reviews I saw on the web. However, after three weeks and hundreds of dollars, my shoulder is worse. I was not presented with a coherent plan for how my shoulder was going to improve. It seemed like each appointment was going back to square one. I liked my therapist, but I need to try a different place.
