Experiencia fantástica: I was experiencing severe low back pain. Before making any adjustments or recommending therapy, Dr. John made sure X-rays were taken and recommended an MRI. I learned I had 4 herniated disks and spinal stenosis. Avoiding back surgery is important to me. After a month of decompression therapy, adjustments and recommended at-home stretches and exercises, I’m feeling so much better. Dr. John works with you to provide excellent holistic care. I’m so thankful to him and his friendly, caring staff.

At first it was every other day visit as I was not able to move or do anything but after the first couple of weeks, I was feeling less discomfort. Ever since then I have felt much better but still have some sciatica nerve issues and Dr. John and his staff always have me feeling better by the time I leave. Experiencia negativa: Had one appointment and one adjustment with Dr John. We are snowbirds and did not realize the drive would take so long. Two or three times a week visits would not work for me. I did not want to pay for additional xrays and had the receptionist at my new chiropractor call Tarpon Springs Total Care to request my medical records/xrays. She called numerous times daily and was told one excuse after another......the fax person was not in that day to Dr John has to review all faxed documents but he was out of town. It has now been five days and still no xrays. On my visit with Dr John there were at least three office personnel yet none of these employees could fax documents with or without Dr John's approval? So.....in order to relieve my lower back pain, I had to have more xrays taken by my new chiropractor. More than likely, I will have to pay twice for xrays. Tarpon Total Health Care's office staff is unprofessional, uncaring for a patient no longer returning and lack empathy for their patients......at least this one.

Experiencia fantástica: Worried that I would require a hip replacement, I went to Tarpon Total Health Care and went under the care of Dr. John Huy. He diagnosed the problem as being compressed discs in my lower spine, which brought pain to my hip region. Once they began spinal decompression treatments my condition slowly got better. The pain is now gone! Dr. Huy prescribed a stretching regiment to prevent the condition from recurring. I highly recommend Tarpon Total Health Care!

Dr Huey was always pushing these vitamins and one time did something to my neck that it hurts so bad I had to lay in bed for 2 days until Monday came around.. he also screwed up my workman's comp case that I had going for 30 years thanks Dr Huey I appreciate it...not!. I would never let him touch me again, I don't know if Sean Hanson works there but that's the guy to see I'm surprised he hasn't started his own business and gotten out of there. With Huey in my opinion it's all about the money. I cannot and would not recommend him to anyone

I couldn't walk very far with out feeling like I was breaking in half. But I just recently went and walked over a mile with no pain. I have been seen by both doctors but mostly Dr. Josh. Amazing he listens and then acts upon what has been said!! And I recommend treating yourself to a massage as well.

Which in comparison to Tarpon Total Health would be the fast food version of Chriopractic. The adjustment was pretty good but had to continue going weekly as it wasn't substantial. Dr. John does a great job explaining what areas needs help. He comes up with a personal health plan to get rid of the pain and keep it away. He also goes in depth on your responsibilities on how to correct your posture at home. Those moves are personalize to what you need. Experiencia fantástica: I was injured in 15 months ago. I've been going to an orthopedic for almost a year now and that doctor couldn't find anything wrong with me. I explained that I didn't think the proper diagnostics were done, but no one listened to me and the orthopedic referred me to pain management. Everyone at this office listened to me and with 1 simple X-ray they found out what was wrong with my tailbone. Also, the DMX machine showed in detail what's wrong with my neck as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Before I tried Dr. Shawn Hanson I had never believed in chiropractic care, even as a massage therapist myself at the time. However the pain from my sciatica(due to an accident) got to the pain that I could no longer sleep without waking up in massive pain with no way to relieve it. I had met Dr. Hanson and found him to be a down to earth guy and eventually I had mentioned my problems, he told me to come see it. And while it took a while for me to make up my mind about going I'm glad I did. The sciatic pain I had been having was gone. I couldn't believe there could be a world without it anymore, but Dr. Hanson made it happen. I know that may not work with every case, but in my situation it did and it's been amazing. I still go in every now and again for "maintenance" but hey... Even a car needs regular maintenance. Also I want to give a big shout out to the staff there, ALWAYS kind and courteous. And always willing to help! For all you mommies and daddies there is a playroom as well.

He always finds the source when we have different pain areas and treats us right away. We believe that he has helped us stay healthy and we appreciate him sharing his knowledge of the importance of chiropractic as well as nutrition.

Experiencia fantástica: For more than +24 years I have been a patient of Dr. John. It has been an amazing journey. He has accurately diagnosed medical conditions where other doctors have failed. Most recent: I was at the "Y" doing my regular Step Class, feeling no pain, when suddenly I felt a pop on my right side and could not walk. I knew a hospital visit would not solve whatever problem I was having. Since it was 6:30 pm my primary was not available, I called Dr. John the next morning and he saw me immediately. I could not even walk into the office I was ushered from room to room in a desk chair. Long story short. After stem, lazer and adjustment by the evening I was able to stand and take a few steps. 6 weeks have past and I am back at the "Y".
