Experiencia negativa: Not helpful at all. When I was describing my symptoms, she told me that I was depressed and needed and anti depressant. Then she went on to tell me that my insurance doesnt cover a consultation but did I want an annual exam. Even though I just told her that I just had one. She was trying to get me to have an exam when I didnt need one. Some doctors are just unethical.

Experiencia negativa: Went in for an emergency appointment and quite disappointed with the level of care and bedside manners I received from Dr. Cohan. She came in for all of 2 minutes, I felt very rushed and disregarded. She rushed out and when she came back instead of walking into the room and speaking to me, she chose to yell my personal information out in the open in front of bystanders with her head barely in the door. That has to be a HIPAA violation somewhere. Pretty sure im just a number and she could care less from her demeanor, but it would be nice to be treated like a human being who matters when you need care. Even her notes had wrong information about me and she also claimed I was “upset” when I was just confused and needed clarity. Not sure why she chose to use that verbiage when she was in my presence for all of 60 seconds and didn’t assist in any way. When you go to someone for help, you expect to at least be treated with dignity and respect. I definitely left feeling lost and more confused. Wont return and wouldn’t recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely atrocious customer service and care towards patients. I watched my girlfriend try to get a birth control prescription authorized by this office for over a month to no avail. Receptionist and nurse continued to punt and never called her back, and eventually, the doc told her "I don't have the time to do it for you." So a fair warning: if you see this doc, your needs as a patient do not matter and they will be cast aside with no regard for you health. This doc will authorize a specific birth control for you for over a year, and when you need a re-authorization, she will tell you tough luck she has no time for you. Be warned.

They truly care about their patients, rarely leave you waiting (and are crazily apologetic if they do slip by a few minutes), and provide quality care. I am so happy to have found Dr. Cohen. Previous doctors are usually so busy delivering babies you're lucky if you get one minute with them. Which is completely understandable, but this clinic caters towards older women like me that have different needs and don't want to be an after thought when it comes to care.

I had to see an OBGYN to follow-up with after a visit to the ER. I am so glad I found her. She was very thorough, took her time to explain everything, and had such a positive attitude. I loved her personality. The staff was super friendly, including Ms. Prescilla the receptionist and the nurse in the back who kept me updated on when my turn would be. The waiting time was reasonable and the entire office was clean and calm. They have the same equipment/technology other OBGYN offices have, so not sure what the other reviews here were talking about. I definitely recommend her!

I entrusted her with delivering 3 sons and that says a lot because our children are treasures and she feels the same way. Experiencia negativa: I just set up an appt for prenatal care, got a call 10 mins later from someone saying she doesnt do that. Then asked how far along i was, I said 14 weeks. So confused how an OB/GYN doesnt do prenatal visits and the lady sounded rude.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had Dr. Cohan as my OBGYN for a few years now. I'm currently pregnant so we're seeing each other a lot more - ha! - and my opinion stays consistent. I find her super knowledgeable and gracious in sharing information on how our bodies work. She's a positive force, while making sure you're making healthy moves. (i.e. finding the right birth control, helping me prep for going off birth control, and walking me through the first scary steps of pregnancy)

Wonderful experience! If I ever get pregnant I'll be coming here- and I am a physician myself

Experiencia negativa: My experience @ Dr. Cohan office: I had a appointment with Dr. Leslie Cohan on March,2016, after the nurse did a few check, then put me at a room waiting for Dr. Cohan. since then there hadn't had ANYONE entry the room, AFTER 1 HOUR PASSED, I started to wonder they might forget me, or they just don't care how long their patient waited, for either of the reasons, I made my mind I was done with this Dr. I changed to my own clothes and walked out the room, when I told the nurse I was leaving... she gave me a look and just repeated me" haw...you are leaving" , NO any words to explain or apologize, it was unbelievable!!!!!!!!!! when I passed the register, I was asked if I would like to make another appointment, I SAID LOUD AND CLEAR "I WON'T COME BACK HERE AGAIN!" If you want be treated right, you might want to stay away from this kind of disrespectful Dr. and nurse!

I was seeing a doctor at Memorial Hermann Memorial City but got tired of long waits for appointments, staying on hold to speak to the nurse, etc. I switched to Dr Cohan and it's the best decision I've ever made! Her staff is the best and everyone remembers you and makes you feel special when you visit. My appointments are always on time and I never have to wait. This place, Dr Cohan and her staff are one of a kind!

Experiencia negativa: When I found out I was pregnant, I looked up OBs and their reviews and found Dr. Cohan, and she had good reviews (now looking back, none of them were very current/recent though). My first appointment with her was okay, but my husband and I had a little bit of a feeling that she viewed these appointments as a series of check lists rather than viewing her patients as people. But I'm in the healthcare field, so I gave her a chance... two more chances to be exact. I saw her at 12 weeks for her to do an ultrasound before I went to a genetics specialist for the first trimester nuchal screening. Low and behold, they sent me to a genetic specialist who didn't take my insurance, and only after the fact did they say "that was our fault, we normally send our patients with Tricare to this other doctor, but messed up with you." By the time this was all sorted out, I was past the point in my pregnancy when this screening is completed, so I didn't have it. The breaking point was at my 16 week appointment when I went in for my quad screen (since they messed up with my nuchal screening). This was the first appt they did the heart rate monitor on the baby at, and they didn't even tell me the HR (that's standard to tell). I asked to have an ultrasound done as my husband is in the Air Force and stationed out of state, and I was going to see him that weekend so I was hoping they may be able to tell the gender so we could celebrate knowing the gender of our baby together. She reluctantly agreed, and spent all of 2 seconds trying before saying "nope, can't see!" and then cleaned off my belly. She then said "oops, I forgot to print you a picture." Yea, thanks. I had a few questions jotted down that I wanted to ask at this appt (completely normal for my first pregnancy to have questions), and I kid you not when I say that Dr. Cohan literally shoed me out of her office, hand motions and all, in the middle of my FIRST question. I left crying. NO ONE should leave an OB appt crying when their pregnancy is going well because of their physician. This is an exciting time and you should look forward to your OB appts, not dread them and get anxious about them because of your doctor. After that appt, I changed OBs and am so happy I did. My new OB is wonderful and I am thankful I made the decision to change. It completely hit me when my new OB asked (first question), "how has the pregnancy been going? have you had any problems? how have you been feeling?"... it was in that moment that I realized Dr. Cohan had NEVER asked me those questions. The week I decided to change OBs, I looked at Dr. Cohan's reviews to see if I had missed something and that's when I noticed none of them were recent, except for one that had just been posted that very week from a patient that had her first baby with Dr. Cohan years ago and loved her, and then went back to her recently for her second baby and also left the office crying and said that Dr. Cohan is not the same doctor. This is sad that she used to provide compassionate care and seems to have lost that. If you are looking for a doctor that will answer your questions, make you feel comfortable, and care about how you are doing, look elsewhere. You don't deserve to go through your pregnancy anxious about your OB appts instead of feeling excitement for them.

My first baby she was very nice and sweet and sensitive,i enjoyed the experience so much i wanted to go for this last pregnancy.so five years later i come back to have my daughter and boy oh wow she was a totally diffrent very diffrent she had me crying one visit and she was insensitive about long story short my memories for my baby girl are not good ones and i will not recommend her to NO ONE !
