Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful practice! Treated my condition holistically and with thorough education on my condition and treatment. Before seeing them I was taking prescriptions and was having terrible cystic acne along with my condition. I couldn’t find reasonable treatment through traditional medicine and had tried some that were just plain ineffective. With Dr. Watkins after less than a month my acne disappeared, my energy increased and I felt less chronic aches and pains.

Experiencia fantástica: Where to start! I have been going to Alternative Health Atlanta for almost 3 months and my experience has been amazing. During my initial consultation, I was sitting in the room thinking what my next move to get chocolate would be after leaving. I started my treatment that day and walked out with a lifetime of chocolate addiction gone. The team is a small and mighty, genius staff. They really take the time to get to know you. I never feel rushed. And most importantly my weird symptoms finally make sense. Someone finally understands the struggles I have had for a decade! AND can work with me on it! The initial intake goes fast and can be scary. Unfortunately medicine that works is not covered by health insurance, but you can always try to submit a claim on your own. There are payment options, and I've found Alternative Health Atlanta to be either in line or more affordable than when I've compared to others who explored similar routes. But most importantly - it works!

I came to them almost two months ago when I saw certain medical numbers increasing and none of my traditional doctors trying to find root causes before just prescribing additional meds. Even with the first phone consultation, I walked away having more of an understanding of what was going on with my body than I've had in years. From my first visit to now (completing my first 6 weeks of my program), every experience I've had has been absolutely positive. There's been a ton of hand holding through the process. Everything is slowly and clearly explained to you, treatments, testing, cost, etc. It's all made very clear and you are patiently given the space to ask any questions or address any concerns. With each visit, the entire staff is welcoming, kind and very hospitable. Next, there really aren't enough kind words to say about Dr. Watkins to get anyone to truly know how impactful her care is, you just have to experience it for yourself. First, as i described everything I had been experiencing with my health and my doctors, I FELT HEARD. Dr. Watkins didn't rush me through any of my explanations and she asked clarifying questions. As every test result came in Dr. Watkins sat down next to me and explained every single result of each test, asking if I had questions before moving on. In 6 weeks time, my numbers are better, stress and anxiety levels drastically lowered, weight reduced. My body is responding to treatment very well, it's almost as if it's waking up from a long sleep. As far as dietary changes go, we were able to identify how i need to adjust my diet. Any time I have product or ingredient questions, Dr. Watkins or a member of the staff emails me with specific recommendations just for me. Committing to a program and making the necessary changes was challenging but it made all the difference in the word feeling so supported by every single person in this office. I’ve been struggling with multiple health issues the past two years after a thyroid crisis and total thyroidectomy, but I could not get doctors to take my symptoms seriously. Dr Watkins made me feel heard and understood from the very first phone consultation in a way that I have never experienced before from a healthcare provider. Everyone in the office is incredibly kind and friendly, and that alone helped motivate me to commit to the healing program they set out for me. My partner has come to a few of my appointments and has also been extremely impressed with how kind and caring everyone is. When I first found AHA, I was barely able to eat due to stomach pains and nausea, had severe migraines and was becoming very anxious about my symptoms, as I'm a working mom and I don’t have time to feel that way every day! I was having severe hormonal issues that were affecting other parts of my life, and since coming here I feel the best I’ve felt in my life! This has been my first experience with Alternative Health Atlanta and it has been the best decision (and gift) I have ever made for my health and wellbeing. Within weeks of beginning my treatment, symptoms that I have been suffering with for years have disappeared. Dr. Billiot does not simply check off the boxes during the initial visit, she listens, orders appropriate testing then formulates a personalized health plan that is unique to each persons’ specific needs. This then begins the interactive journey (yes, you have to do the work) to optimal health! If you are experiencing chronic illness, fatigue, aches and/or pain, there is a solution to what ails you. Life is too short to suffer! In addition, this group recognizes your time is just as valuable as theirs. The office staff is run like a well-oiled machine with great efficiency and personal care. I truly feel welcomed, valued and well cared for with each visit!

Experiencia negativa: I would like to start off with the positives, which is that everyone here is very nice, friendly, and welcoming. They really provide a calming and inviting environment for patients, which is important for any practice. I felt at ease, listened to, and heard by everyone here. However, I do not believe their methods of treatment are sound. The treatments are expensive, lengthy, and I cannot find other sources that support their methods of practice. The second visit especially, quite candidly, felt like a waste of money/time. It was essentially just them telling you about their treatment methods and the cost, rather than getting into the treatment itself. It was an hour of being convinced to make the investment, essentially. In sum, I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere, but for actual relief of my symptoms, I will be going elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: First you should know this is a naturopathic health center, meaning it is not cheap. But I have seen over 10 doctors related to an undiagnosed rheumatology condition. Traditional doctors all did the same thing, blood tests AND pretty much the same ones each time. This is the first time I had someone "actively" listen to my symptoms and it wasn't rushed because unfortunately for her I have a whole LOT going on. A neurologist told me to go to Mayo, but they are already having me take steroids to combat some of the symptoms. I take 3 prescriptions every night for another condition and with these it is not five, I wanted a more natural option for care steroids are no joke long term. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and I sent them a little over 100 pages of labs and they took all the time to properly handle to the doctor. Not sure what the outcome will be, but already I'm feeling hopeful for the first time. I will update later with follow-up details.

Experiencia fantástica: I found Alternative Health after being so frustrated with my primary doctor! I had been experiencing reoccurring virus's showing up as Kidney or UTI infections for the past year and a half. The first symptoms came after Covid and my primary doc was only interested in my lungs not any of the other symptoms I was experiencing after covid. My primary doc put me on antibiotics for 90 days and I could not get better. So, I went looking for an alternative, and I could not have found a better solution! Dr Watkins helped me repair my immune system, adrenal system and my gut. I believe Alternative Health can help with any issues you have due to a compromised immune system ect. I was having to go see a doctor every 4 weeks due to a virus and since I've been with Alternative Health, I do not have these issues any longer. They have taught me how to keep my body healthy without antibiotic's and I am loving my new strong immune system:)

After catching Covid, i started having issues with my cycle, although it had been irregular,(anywhere from 35 to 65 days) i'd never NOT gotten one however i went 3 months without a cycle and also started to experience hot flashes. I was in a panic. I'm only 37 and want children so this was very worrisome. After coming to AHA and seeing Dr. Watkins who listened to ALL my issues and following the recommended procedures and supplements after a full lab workup and seeing that my estrogen was extremely low, i'm happy to say that after 6 weeks, my cycle returned and i have experienced 2 more ever since and they are regular. The hot flashes are also gone as well. I can track my cycle on my premom app and know around the time when i will ovulate (and confirm with BBT temping) which is important to me because me and my husband have started family planning. I still have a little ways to go in resolving some other issues and also improving my diet but that was my main concern and im so happy to finally be on the right track. I was a "diy" herb and supplement type of girl before but was never sure on what was the right thing for me so i'm glad that i sought professional help. Not only that, I received abnormal lab results from my OBGYN that were deeply concerning. But through Dr. Billiot's guidance and supplement intake, I feel so much better. The only answer I received from traditional medicne was "let's schedule you for a colonoscopy and we will see you again in 3 months. The care I have received from Dr. Billiot has changed my life. Experiencia fantástica: If you're reading Google reviews, you're most likely trying to determine if Dr. Billiot can help you with a chronic health issue or health crisis, and you may well be a skeptic wondering if this is the real deal. Well, as someone who turned here during a major health crisis that months worth of typical practitioners could not resolve, I can tell you that she is the realest of deals and she CAN help you. Most of my doctors ran one lab in an attempt to confirm what they thought was wrong; Dr. Billiot took all my previous labwork, ran tons more, put it all together with muscle testing (kinesiology) to let my body tell HER what was wrong. Things began to improve almost immediately and 7 months later, I am almost as good as new. Yes, it is expensive. I’ve been a patient for over 2 years, and started with a list of over 20 symptoms - some major and some minor - which were affecting my health in drastic ways. My adrenals & thyroid were barely functioning, and I was so brain-fogged & fatigued, I collapsed after work every evening. I didn’t know how I could go on. They helped me discover just how sensitive my body is to “regular“ prescription drugs with all their chemicals, and have found healthy, natural alternatives to heal my body. I’m so grateful! When I first started seeing Dr. Billiot I was dealing with extreme fatigue, stress, allergies, digestive and sleep issues, as well as arthritis. From the beginning, I felt comfortable working with them. Once I was tested and evaluated and put on a supplement program my body started to respond and I could feel the difference. After a year and a half, I was diagnosed with cancer and began my treatment regime of chemo, radiation and surgery. I weathered my treatments fairly well and I know it was because I was much stronger and my body less stressed. After my cancer treatments, my supplements were changed to counteract the effects of chemo and radiation and I quickly bounced back.
