I went in there with possibly IBS and she gave me a FODMAP diet.. the last doctor was very nice but to be honest not very good quality help at all in fact it's time to move on. I really didn't get much help here. You never have one doctor they switch you around. Not sure if I'll ever see a doctor again. I don't trust doctors anymore. The quality has sunk to the lowest

Experiencia negativa: i am writing this review with deep disappointment and troubling experience after our recent visit to this clinic, which occurred despite our punctuality in arriving at 9am for my two years old brother’s appointment. i have to question whether the medical staff in this clinic are fully aware of or practicing the relevant laws and regulations. this is especially concerning after the excessive blood draw from my two years old brother, which was beyond pediatric guidelines, and the lack of proper communication and informed consent. telling me that there is a significant lapse in following legal standards at the clinic. we anticipated the usual long wait times but were unprepared for the shocking and potentially harmful treatment he received. what transpired was far beyond our expectations and has left us extremely distressed. despite the fact that my brother is a toddler, medical staff proceeded to draw an excessive amount of blood from my brother—four full sized bottles. that clearly seemed like they were more than 2ml. this is not only against pediatric guidelines but also poses a significant risk to a child his age. the recommended amount for a blood culture bottle is the child’s age in milliliters, which should have been no more than 2ml for my brother. yet, the amount taken was clearly far in excess of this limit. throughout the process, the staff seemed indifferent to our concerns, showed a lack of concern and provided no justification for their actions. they never mentioned to my mom or me about my brother having draw four bottles of blood. my brother, who also suffers from amnesia, was subjected to this traumatic and dangerous procedure without any consideration for his well being. the fact that he must undergo this every three months is deeply concerning and raises questions about the long-term effects on his health. drawing such a large volume of blood repeatedly could worsen his amnesia and weaken his immune function, not to mention the trauma this will inflict on a young child. while the clinic staff did apologize and mention that they will inform us of the number of blood bottles to be drawn next time, seeking our consent, this does not fully address the concerns raised. the focus should not be on merely seeking consent for potentially excessive procedures, but rather on ensuring that the procedures themselves are medically necessary, safe, and in line with pediatric guidelines. while the clinic staff did apologize and mention that they will inform us of the number of blood bottles to be drawn next time and seek our consent, this does not fully address the concerns raised. the focus should be on ensuring that the procedures themselves are medically necessary, safe, and in line with pediatric guidelines. the clinic needs to conduct a thorough investigation to determine why the excessive blood draw occurred and review and revise their protocols to align with established pediatric standards. i don’t know why this even needs to be said, but clinic staff should receive comprehensive training on handling pediatric patients with care, sensitivity, and proper communication, prioritizing patient safety and well being. also, the nurse only informed us that the medical staff had added two blood draw orders after we questioned them why they drew four bottles of blood. (due to character limited exceeded, the rest is in the photo.)

Experiencia fantástica: I had the pleasure of Ms Annie Kwan being my dentist here. I was given the best dental care I have ever received. I required multiple fillings, and I had a fast and pain fee experience every time with wonderful results. Ms Kwan is very thorough and will give education on things to look out for such as mouth cancers if you are or were a nicotine user. I feel very lucky to have received dental care from ICHS, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality and considerate care. Also the facilities are clean and pleasant, and the receptionists and dental assistants are all friendly, polite and helpful as well. Many thanks!!!

Experiencia negativa: My mother had been waiting for an hour (and checked in with the receptionist multiple times within said hour) only for it to turn out the receptionist had forgotten to check her in! We received no compensation or anything either!! Then, I was only 5 minutes late and the check-in guy called someone for a few minutes and told me I needed to reschedule completely. Then throughout the rescheduling process, the receptionist left with no explanation and came back with nothing in hand. This appointment was in Mid March and now its pushed to mid-May!

Experiencia fantástica: I am SO grateful for ICHS accepting Medicaid/Apple Health/Molina health insurance!!! I probably wouldn't have known of them and had the wonderful care I have for recent years if I hadn't seen them on my insurance list of providers. They are not that close to me, so I was looking in different area. They are well worth the trips. Each staff member I have interacted with has been warm, professional, kind, knowledgeable, and skilled. I experience much anxiety and pain with dental care due to C-PTSD and prior non-dental experiences, and ICHS Dental has been the least awful of the dental clinics I've been to over the years. Which is to say, they are AWESOME!!! It takes so much for me to follow through on dental care, so it means ALOT that I am keeping up with it now that I've established care with ICHS, and I am far less fearful, anxious, tense etc. before appointments now, and I have not had to leave mid-appointment due to a panic attack. I really appreciate everyone at ICHS - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom has been a patient at this clinic for awhile. I’ve to say today it’s THE BEST experience ever. Main reason is because of Dr. Arimoto. She’s so patient with us; explaining things in details and making sure we understand everything. I asked my mom if Dr. Arimoto is the best dentist so far. She said yes. She likes Dr. Arimoto because she’s very gentle and nice to her. Because of Dr. Arimoto, she agrees to do deep cleaning. She was terrified by the last experience. Also the technician today is super friendly as well, good customer service. Sorry I forgot to ask for her name. This clinic is lucky to have them.

Experiencia negativa: I have been going here for Dental Service for about 8 years now. I like my regular dentist here very much. I also have had good experiences with the occasional dentists I have seen when my regular dentist here is unavailable. HOWEVER there are serious problems with the front desk....and even more problems with telephone calls. I realize that this clinic is an amazing place serving immigrants, but I often have great difficulty understanding the receptionists. I know many people who use English as a second language, and they are far more understandable than some of the receptionists here. Also they seem confused about what my insurance covers at times. But this week is the worst dental experience ever. Back in February when I had my annual exam, the Dentist wrote out a referral for me to get an appt. to the University of Washington Prosthodontic Clinic because I need extensive work to fix worn down teeth. I was ecstatic for this referral and even though I know that I will have to pay out of pocket....it will permanently correct some of my underlying problems. I called and called the UW Clinic which never got back to me. Finally I checked their website and saw that one cannot do the referral themselves as a patient even though I have a piece of paper filled out Dr. Hoang (who btw was great at the appt. and very knowledgeable. The issue is not with her). The UW website says that a referral to the Prosthodontic Department must be faxed in accompanied by a cover letter by the Dental Provider, not me)....So I went to my MYCHART Online account to see what was going on. There was an entry on February 17 that said Telephone encounter. It said a receptionist from ICHS Dental called me and it said since I would be referring myself that they (ICHS) cancelled my referral (perhaps they never even faxed it to UW). This is unacceptable. First I don't remember any phone call on that day discussing my Prosthodontic Clinic referral. Second, I have never had "telephone encounters" listed on my My Chart account even though there have been other times ICHS called me re: appointment scheduling, insurance stuff etc. Now I have to get this referral process started all over again!!!!! I have looked forward to fixing some of the my dental issues for a long time and this mistake from their front desk people has cost me precious months of waiting. Some of them need serious re-training.

This is one of the closest ones to my house I could literally walk there if I wanted. I just want my teeth perfect

I got a check up, cleaning, and 3 fillings, and for every single appointment, I was taken in EXACTLY at my appointment time. Everyone who worked there was incredibly professional and friendly, especially my dentist, who I honestly loved! Dr. Phuong Hoang is so great at patient care and making me feel comfortable during the procedures I had to get done. Highly recommend!

We wait until 1:00PM and checked back to ICHS and they said doctor had been called to my phone number. IN FACT, I was waiting for a long time and didn’t receive any phone call! They are waste my time!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm new to the area (Seattle) and a new patient to this clinic. Everyone was super nice, professional, and great at their job. Dr. Chen and his assistant (I didn't get her name) who did the x-rays helped me immensely! I am very greatful for the help of this clinic with my dental needs, and will be coming back in the future! UPDATE: 2/10/22. Had a few extractions done and was so nervous! Dr. Kwan made the procedure painless and fast, she is a very talented dentist! Her assistant Ty was great also! IF you need dental work done right, go to ICHS!

She became very upset when asked about simple appointment questions. It would be ironic if they tell me the staff are trained before taking the job. I will literally consider take legal actions against that woman. THUMBS DOWN! SHAME ON YOU!

Experiencia fantástica: With COVID-19 reshaping the way humanity interacts with itself, I have had to deal with some pretty cold and disconnected clinical professionals lately. In some visits, I was rushed through screening; rushed through the appointment; and then rushed out of the clinic without so much as a "thank you for coming", "please be safe", or even "good-bye". So I was fairly skeptical before I made my dental appointment at ICHS International District. The staff at ICHS International District were amazing. And my Dental Hygienist, was an absolute angel- professional, yet friendly, and extremely positive. Seriously, it was the first time I actually felt relaxed in a dental chair. In all honesty, the dental staff at ICHS International were professional, friendly, and very welcoming. Absolutely amazing!

Experiencia negativa: Extremely furious, I usually would NEVER leave bad reviews especially for a medical clinic. But this place has by far been the worst and keeps getting worst and worst, I will be switching clinics if nothing gets resolved. The doctors and nurses are amazing so I would hate to leave but the front desk and medical records people do NOT speak nor understand English. I’ve called multiple times to get my official health records and they do not understand me and give me a printed out list (completely unprofessional, and unauthorized list) I’ve been to the office multiple times saying I need an official paper stamped and they just don’t understand. They have accents that you can barely understand them and not only that but they are RUDE, not polite or respectful on bit. I know I’m not the only one who has this issue as you can look at the rest of the reviews everyone has said something about the front office and medical records department. This place would be so amazing if you guys hired nice staff to represent the front. It’s so disappointing to see how this place has gone down as I’ve been a patient for years.

Experiencia negativa: ICHS is the WORST clinic ever. First, the main problem. I notice their doctor change quite often. Some doctor maybe your primary doctor this time but she/he may not next time. So, you will have to see a different doctor. Then, different doctor will explain different things about your health. Very confusion. Second, Their doctor is late often and never have enough time for you to finish your questions. (My personal experience: doctor came in late 20 minutes after my original appointment time, then spent 10 minutes to ask me questions. Right after, she did not give me anytime to finish my questions and was trying to leave. When I said, doctor, I have not finished my questions yet. She just said, sorry, I don’t have enough time for you and I am going to be late for next patient. WOW, she said she is going to be late for next patient. What about she is late for 20 minutes for her patient who’s is standing right in the front of her! ? Third, most of their staffs are nice. But, some nurse/staff who’s is doing in clinic translation are not and always rude and not patience when you repeat your questions and try to understand your health problem better. Ladies who are working at WIC department is also very rude too. Fourth, One hour lunch time at their pharmacy? Really!? Do you really have to close the door and all staffs take lunch at the same time? Why can’t you just have a lunch rotating shift, so there is at least one person to answer the phone? Anyway, I just recently transferred all of my family to other clinic and won’t go back to ICHS. If you are reading this review, please think twice before you or your family go there.

Experiencia negativa: Most of the staff are nice, except for one order female nurse, I went to get my vaccinations for my school and I showed her my all vaccinations record and told her I got the HPV vaccines outside this country and I couldn’t find my record anymore. Even though I explained to her my school doesn’t even require me to have HPV vaccinations and it is my choice to have one or not, she claimed that she cannot give me any immunization if I couldn’t provide her all my immunization record, I was going to get a MMR and Tdap vaccines but she just sent me home. I rescheduled any appointments and turns out other nurse didn’t do thing like her. They didn’t refuse to give me MMR shot just because I cannot find my HPV record, the previous nurse was rude and she completely wasted my time. If I couldn’t find my record, I have nothing to do about it, and I don’t think my HPV record will affect me to getting another immunization, yet, she used that as a unreasonable reason and sent me home.

Experiencia negativa: Never been to this place, but about a month ago when I was with my friend, he got a call from their receptionist saying they need to reschedule his upcoming dental appointment. His memory is not so good, so he asked me to memorize the appointment day and time. I made a note in my calendar right away (the appointment was postponed for over 3 weeks, by the way) and reminded him a day before (they didn't call to confirm, of course), but when he went there they said he never had an appointment with them! I am taking that very personal, as 1. I was the one who helped him to write down his appt date and time 2. I am a dental receptionist myself, and the way how they do it is unacceptable. Experiencia fantástica: This clinic is great! It's one of the few clinics who has both medical and dental facilities and a sliding scale! As a clinic that treats predominantly Asians they tend to prescribe more Asian remedies like accupuncture, changes in diet, etc. Also I noticed most of the bad reviews of this clinic are because of things that are normal for ANY clinic... I guess some people are too naive to know things like the fact that if you have a lab test done and don't get a call regarding the results that means your test was normal.

I’m not a patient here but my boyfriend’s family goes here and I’ve went with them to see the doctor for a couple time and it’s just unbelievable. The front desk is rude and like to argue back with the patient without knowing what is going on and usually interrupt patients when they try to explain something and the doctor is so unporfessional because my boyfriend have a problem with his stomach and we went here to get a check and they told him that they can’t do anything about it and they told him to get a lap test and they’ll call us in a week or two for the result but we waited for a couple month and no one call us about the result. HORRIBLE!!!

First time I went to Bellevue the dr checked me and gave some precautions and never got called for follow up after keep calling I diddnt got any response then I changed to ID and its same as it is since I gave my stool for lab test I was waiting for 4 days to get results and precautions that also I was keep calling to get it otherwise I couldn't get the one . Really bad service

Experiencia fantástica: I love going to my dentist at ICHS. The office staff are very nice, my dentist is very gentle and my hygienist is very informative. Never before have I had such pleasant trips to the dentist, as I have at ICHS.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been an patient of ICHS since 2010, and they have always taken great care of me. Staff is great, and they really make your health their number one concern. More than a few times, I found myself feeling better, or in much less pains within just a few hours after being treated! I feel I have met some of the best medical care professionals that the world has to offer.

You have to come 15 mins earlier prior to your appointment then wait another 15-30 mins after your appointment time just to see the doctor. What can i say? If you are a busy person, this place will waste your whole day:) no time appreciation at all. Experiencia positiva: Every business that has many customers competing for affordable healthcare will have some challenges. I use the dentistry side of ICHS. There has been no problems. Wish the wait times for exams and cleanings were not so long, however one will find that at many other places. The phone service could be improved upon by training employees to speak in a way that people can understand. The issue may be many of them came from Asia, and still retain much of the original language accent. The finance department is something to be desired. When I give an employer pay-stub to them, and they say that is not good enough, these people need to get real. You will get what employers provide, and take it or leave it. Don't get an attitude.
