Experiencia fantástica: I primarily go to the southport location but I go to the fishers location during my lunch breaks and this gym has my favorite chest press machines and they keep adding awesome equipment. That make me like this location more than my home gym in southport which is already great. If you have the budget for it I would definitely recommend this gym.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to this gym for nearly 4-5 years now and it has grown a lot. Hands down, best gym you can find in the middle west! From having a sauna with a steam generator that keeps it hot 24/7 to the huge variety of machines. I love it! The energy here is amazing and the people are there are for the same reason as you, Wanting to improve themselves. There's so many different options here when it comes to machines that I have never been able to find else where. This year, it seems like there's a new machine rolling in on a pallet every week! This gym has changed me a lot over the years and I am so thankful!

The equipment is high level, the energy in the gym is intense and lots of options. I reached all my goals here and I love that I can finish my workouts with a hot sauna. Unlike a big box gym where it’s overcrowded with people not doing anything… Mei has the type of vibe that pushes you. I highly recommend this gym. Open 24/hr

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Mei Keystone for I believe a couple years now. I've gone daily at 6am, 6pm and even later at night when my schedule requires it. This gym is always clean, and very up-to-date with some amazing equipment. I recommend it to everyone.

The 24/7 accessibility is a huge plus, allowing me to work out at my convenience, no matter my schedule. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming to me. 100/10 recommend.

Experiencia negativa: My membership was terminated without notice following an incident with a male member at the gym. This individual made me extremely uncomfortable when he encroached on the space I was using for my workout. I was already set up when he took over the bench in my area, preventing me from completing my exercise and forcing me to relocate while there were other benches open. I did not confront him directly. Two other members witnessed the interaction, and one kindly let me use his space after finishing his set. The three of us briefly discussed the disruptive behavior, which the individual apparently overheard. Later, I had a private conversation with a friend (the wife of one of the members who saw the incident) about this individual’s history of intimidating, harassing, and mistreating others in the gym. I can only assume he reported our conversation to the owner, resulting in my membership being terminated. The owner’s reputation within the fitness community is already well known—particularly his history of poor treatment toward women, including trainers and staff. It’s no surprise he failed to conduct due diligence in this matter and instead sided with a male member who has a pattern of inappropriate behavior. I had been a loyal member of MEI for over five years. The owner knows me personally and has spoken to me on multiple occasions, even asking for my input on improving the gym’s poorly designed layout and equipment selection. He also has me posted on the gym’s Instagram page, which I now demand be removed immediately. To be treated this way—without investigation or fairness—speaks volumes about the owner and the toxic culture he enables. By supporting men who intimidate, harass, and mistreat women, he creates an unsafe and unwelcoming environment. This is not a business I can support in any capacity. Outside of this incident, the gym has long-standing issues I’ve tolerated solely for its convenient location and 24/7 access: - The gym’s lack of enforcement of basic cleanliness and etiquette policies has resulted in members frequently neglecting to wipe down machines, rack weights, or respect shared spaces. This creates an unpleasant and unsanitary environment for everyone. - Poor supervision and accountability allow younger members to bring non-paying friends into the gym late at night. These guests often disrespect the facility, leaving it in disarray and disrupting paying members. - The equipment is often out of order, with repairs taking weeks (if they happen at all). When equipment is replaced, it’s typically second-hand, and functional multi-use machines are swapped for single-use alternatives. - The stretching room still contains filthy yoga mats that should have been replaced years ago. - There is inadequate space between machines, making it difficult and uncomfortable to adjust weights without encroaching on others. On top of all this, the owner seems more focused on using young women for promotional material, flaunting his vacations, or showcasing extravagant purchases than investing in the gym or its members. I cannot recommend this gym to anyone. It is poorly managed, poorly maintained, and fosters a toxic environment that prioritizes appearances over substance and safety. I’m relieved to no longer be part of this space.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a member here for about a month and this is the 3rd time the treadmills have all been in use. There are only 5 and 1 that has been broken for 3 weeks. Since having cancer and chemo, the only thing I can do right now is walk. So unless I come in at odd hours I can’t use the treadmills and have to go home. May have to look for a different place.

Experiencia negativa: This business practices are very shady. I received a collection notice from their gym months after I had canceled my membership and now they refuse to speak to me saying that it’s a problem between me and the collection agency and not them. Stay away from them!

Experiencia negativa: AVOID AVOID AVOID — BEWARE BEFORE YOU JOIN!!!! This business is unethical, aggressive and lies!! You cannot cancel easily, and once they find out you’ve cancelled they jack up rates, charge you unheard of amounts and then harass you every few days for payments that don’t add up. Yet they can’t be bothered to respond to emails or phone calls related to customer issues. This place is a joke.

Experiencia negativa: 100% AVOID signing up with this gym.Their business policy’s are SHADY to say the least.i was in Indiana for 10 days for a job.I decided to give MEI fitness a try since I was working nightshift and the 24hour gym was perfect for that. After paying them a full month ,I only used the gym for about 6 days before I got shipped out to a different state for work.I asked the kid at the front desk how to cancellation works and he clearly told me that after my membership have been active for 2 weeks I can just call in and cancel.Yesterday I received a call from a lady asking my to pay $50 something for my membership that’s still active and I told her that I tried to cancel.She told me the ONLY way to cancel is through letter by mail or canceling in person.They won’t accept over the phone,they won’t accept an email and you can’t cancel it on their website.That right there is UNHEARD off and before they can cancel I would have to pay the 50$ something and then they will charge me another billing cycle before the cancellation is in affect for a gym ive been to for 6 days out of the month and haven’t been there in over a month!THIS is ROBBERY!

Experiencia negativa: Shady shady shady business practices. Their cancellation policy is designed to rob you. Read the other reviews all saying the same things. After multiple attempts over multiple months, I STILL was unable to cancel. And then they charged me more than double out of nowhere!!! After dealing with this since August, I still cannot get a response from any one of authority there. They truly just don’t care about their customers. At all. I’ve told all my friends and a handful have already, or are getting ready to cancel. People need to be aware. The staff is terrible, no one cares about how this location is ran and it shows. Avoid at all costs!!

Experiencia negativa: I was a customer at mei for about a year. I went to their Fishers location and Keystone location and only had great things to say about it until recently. The facilities were nice, 24 hours etc etc. In February my debit card had fraud, and I hadn’t been to the gym in awhile so I went in to go ahead and cancel my membership. Earlier this week I received a call from their 3rd party payment company trying to collect $109 from me. I informed them multiple times that I had cancelled my membership months ago. The lady didn’t even consider that maybe someone on the MEI staff had misplaced my cancellation receipt or forgot to end my account. She’s harassed me for days now about paying this bill that I shouldn’t even have to pay. Sounds like MEI needs a better filing system and needs to talk to their payment company about speaking to former customers a little more respectfully. Never again will I step foot in a MEI gym or ever recommend their facilities to anyone.

Definitely recommend you try it. However, it doesn't offer daily gym passes or I would rate it 5 stars. I only took two pictures while I was there unfortunately :(. Experiencia negativa: I canceled the membership three months ago and after giving me one call saying the last payment didn’t go through they kept my account open without letting me know and I have $300 I have to pay. They didn’t work with me at all!

Experiencia negativa: The gym is fine. The problem is with management. I called in approximately a month after getting my membership letting them know that I had sustained an injury and needed to cancel. I just got a call today informing me that I owe over $100 and that they are going to keep calling me until I pay it. They said you were not allowed to cancel your membership and less you physically show up to the location. They do not care if you are injured or if you are unable to make it to the location. They are strong army me into payments even though I have begged to get out of the relationship. I highly discourage anyone from spending any money with this business.

Experiencia fantástica: Sam at MEI Fitness on 96th street in Fishers is fantastic. I was transferred from the 800 number with a billing and key tag issue. Sam was super helpful and professional. He answered all of my questions and continued to help me even tho I was pretty upset. Thank you Sam and than you MEI Fitness.

Experiencia negativa: I would never sign up at Mei Fitness again or recommend anyone else to. The company has a cancelation policy designed to rob you by making it the most difficult and inconvenient process. I sent written notice to cancel my membership as instructed by their rep, months later I am still being charged for a service I haven't used in 5 months. Yet another company that is supposed to be about promoting health and wellness, but is really about taking people's money.

Experiencia negativa: During the day it's pretty much everything you'd ask for in a gym this size. The gear is kept in good condition or replaced regularly, and it's clean. 5/5 if you have a regular schedule and are planning on being in here during staffed hours. During unstaffed hours, it's a different story. This was most of the time I was in there, and it's pretty much the reason for the low score. Be ready to deal with all the younger members. Why high school kids are in the gym at 11pm so often is beyond me. These young men/women don't rerack weights or equipment or wipe down their gear, and they're disruptive and disrespectful to others and the facility. They take their shirts and shoes/socks off regularly and walk off without wiping off a single thing. The number of times I've had to ask young men in this gym to not bring cameras into the restroom to film themselves or take pictures in there is insane. When these issues were taken up with staff, they simply tell me they'll take care of it,or that it "can't be helped," and then nothing happens. I grew up around here, but I guess now Fishers is big money territory and the younger people who live here feel the need to act like entitled, disgusting snobs. If your schedule's normal, this one's a winner. If it's not, find a 24 hour joint that keeps someone behind the counter like most other places do. For the price, I expect more features or someone behind the counter for more hours in the day.

Experiencia negativa: Equipment is really nice. Gym is rather small though. Says they have two tanning beds. I’ve only seen one, and it does not work. Says they have a sled on their home page. No sled at the facility. Says they have wet and dry sauna. I’ve only seen the dry sauna. Called to see if I could PAY for my nephew to come workout with me. They said no. LOL. Kinda weird how they act all religions, yet LIE about what their facility has, and refused to let me even PAY to bring my nephew.

Music is not to my liking..and it was too loud to drown it out with headphones....(3am)...also needs more weight trees so that members could put thier weights away

I haven’t seen her lately in this location and since then, the place seems not organized at all and ladies bathrooms have been THE DIRTIEST I have ever seen in this gym. I still go because of the machines…

Experiencia fantástica: This is my favorite gym. The equipment is constantly being updated and the place is always clean. Whether you are a beginner or an ifbb pro, this place can be your home. All skill levels are welcome, from 400+ lb deadlifters to treadmill walkers. I'm always happy to see Polly and Teran. These ladies do a great job at making members feel welcome.

Experiencia positiva: Surprisingly great despite how small it is. They have A TON of equipment, maybe too much becuase it's pretty compact. Great atmosphere condusive to a good workout. Love that I can access 24 hours. Need more flat benches- even one more would help. Sauna is great. Only complaints: -Showers are awful- all limed up and no water pressue , no hooks to hang clean clothes so I try not to go before work. -since covid they won't reinstate guest policy ( I really just want to bring my teenager a couple of times to see if he likes it to join) and also -it is really hard to reach anyone there. Phone # just goes to guest services for credit card payments and no one answers FB messenger.

The manager Teranjeet , she take care of the the facility around the clock , she is highly involved, and takes a genuine interest in her gym ,she is always ready to help and is very patient ,Mei is the best when it’s comes to equipment and people .

They are constantly cleaning to keep up with current regulations. Teran has been an amazing staff member to this location. Experiencia negativa: I was a member here for a number of years. I have cancelled my family membership as of December 2, 2021 due to their terrible customer service and lack of response. We were charged an additional annual fee for 2022 that was per person on the membership, plus the regular December fee and the January fee since I went to cancel on the 2nd of the month. There was no notice other than some paperwork posted around the gym (which is on me for not reading) for the new annual fees. I called and got their outsourced call center (Texas) and expressed my concern with the high fee. Was told that if I wanted to cancel I had to do so in person at the gym. I went to the gym and spoke with employee Sam. He offered no solution or desire to keep my membership. I asked for contact info for the manager and was told they don't give that out. I asked for him to call the manager directly and was told he is a very busy man and is in meetings all day. I asked Sam to have him call me, which has now been nearly 2 months and have not heard back.

Tj and staff are not only the best staff but they actually time to care for member's wants and needs. The equipment is by far the top in the State and if they do not have it, Mel will do anything possible to satisfy member needs. This gym is the best as far as gyms go. It is so evident how much she cares for the function & quality of the establishment; including us, the customers. I've seen this girl do anything from coming in to fix a leak in the ceiling at midnight after a crazy storm, to immediately grabbing tools to assess equipment when an issue is brought to her attention, caring enough to incorporate essential oil to the atmosphere and surprisingly, all with a smile on her face! Experiencia negativa: They advertise a month to month membership, but when you cancel they charge you for the current month AND the following month. We canceled on October 15 and they insisted on charging us for all of November as well. We went around and around with them and they said they would send it to collections if we did not pay. Very frustrating and a very poor business practice. They should advertise it as a two month to two month membership since that is essentially what they do. I would not re-join just out of the principle of the matter.

And the last issue is at night you have younger members sneaking in their friends and they usually stand and in front of dumbbells flexing. And in some cases there's a camera and tripod in the way. This gym used to have that old school vibe with modern equipment. people cant follow rules that are In big bold letters on the wall. shirtless group training?On that note can you at least wipe your bare back sweat off the bench/machine? . Idk what's going on with this gym lately. It was near perfect once upon a time. Now it seems like anything goes. I'm adding watch out for speeding teenagers in the parking lot. They think it's a game.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is great and I'll tell you exactly why. I've worked at a gym, been university gym, LA, lifetime, planet fitness, the Y - I even used to come to cardinal fitness at this location. This has probably been the cleanest and most well-maintained out of all of them. Always stocked on towels, the bathrooms are clean, and any maintenance is handled expeditiously while other places take weeks and months. There is a girl that works here named Teranjeet who is always making sure that the place is spotless and that the equipment is in operation. She is also a majority of the reason I felt this review was warranted, as I feel she basically runs the place. I know what its like working at a gym and honestly whatever shes getting paid, shes worth double. I assumed she is a manager because she does more around there than anyone ive seen at any gym. She told me she wasn't which was surprising because her work ethic is unmatched. She's even out here cleaning off the clock. A person as dedicated as that to any organization is an invaluable asset and I would want people like her on my team. Nobody wants to dust off the fans, clean toilets, replace ceiling tiles, or repair machines, but she will. Absolute unit of an employee. The staff in general is very helpful, but not as personable as she is. I havent been to a gym as consistently as this since college and I might attribute part of that to the things mentioned above. Great place, clean, and reasonably priced, and 24/7? Gimme a break. Plenty of room for compound and olympic lifts, big shout out to the owner, thank you for everything!

In the years I have been at Mei so many have stood out staff wise one in particular I have noticed working incredibly hard and going over the top, Teranjeet. Her smile lights up that gym space. She is so friendly to all the members, makes sure that place is in tip top shape, and goes well above and beyond in her job. I can not say enough good things about this gym keep it up!

Experiencia fantástica: As a first time gym-goer my experience has been so welcoming. I had lots of reservations about being a part of a gym and was initially very fearful. However, at MEI I have not only had access to great equipment that has helped me change how I look physically, but also I have access to a community that cheers me on while doing so! I feel like I am not only improving myself but I am also being lifted up by the community and I would not trade that! I would take a half hour and come by for a tour. There are several gyms that are closer to me, but I drive over 15 minutes for the environment!

I enjoy the fact that when I walk in & TeranJeet is at the front desk , she ALWAYS has a big smile & Good morning! She is very friendly, polite, and PROFESSIONAL. Having the ability to go whenever is very important to me since I don't leave the hospital till almost midnight. The second most important thing in a gym for me is the equipment. Having been an athlete, I'm pretty particular in equipment. They are constantly getting in the newest and latest equipment at all three of their locations. They are a no frills kind of gym and I appreciate that. The owner and his staff are incredibly helpful and professional. If you just moved to Indy or are looking for a new gym, I highly recommend Mei Fitness!

I spend most of my time at the Fishers location, and after over a years worth of training there it continues to impress me. The staff, atmosphere, and cleanliness have exceeded my expectation since the day I walked in. At other gyms, I’ve felt out of place when doing the type of training I do and working hard. I have never felt judged at Mei and I’ve always respected and appreciated that.

I look over again and i see him and another female worker at the front laughing while looking at me. I still didn’t think much of it in my head but i has the suspicion they were making fun of me. i go over to the trend mills that are by the front desk and they are still laughing and looking towards my direction, i knew something was up and i went to confront them, they had the rudest attitudes toward me and all i was doing was doing my workout. I felt so down the rest of the day whilst those to workers had a good laugh. On top of all that the same female worker who made fun of me flipped 2 other men off while i was minding my own business. I heard what she has said to them and my god it was out of this world, how do you hire some like that!!??? She canceled there memberships for no reason at all.

Experiencia negativa: How are you going to have a off duty employee that’s working out flick me off and after have the nerve to say I should just quit your to big to even workout. Like how does this make a human feel like inside?.. On top of that I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but cmon the plumbing issues in this place are incompetent to the standards of plumbing code of Indiana. OSHA will be contacted regarding the issues. Furthermore this place is horrible and explains why there only in Indiana

Experiencia negativa: 2 minutes ago Was warned about this gym but ignored it because I loved the equipment and space. I had moved out of state due to job relocation. I emailed in writing confirmation of me cancelling my gym membership knowing i would owe 60 days of membership dues probably for the notice. However I got a collections notice right around the pandemic starting saying i owe like 300 something dollars. The employee at gym said they needed it in writing. Like handwritten... Is email not enough? Its evidence that I cancelled my membership. In writing! Make sure your going to commit to the full membership because they will screw you with the termination. I also just found out they closed the Avon location without any notice to membership holders ha.

Experiencia fantástica: I just started my gym experience about 3 months ago and Mei has been awesome. Lots of equipment options especially for more professional hard core gym attendees. My boyfriend is very particular about his gym equipment and Mei is wonderful if you're thinking of pursuing competitive body building or certain physiques. Everyone is nice and they also have a sauna and training options.

He is a rare business owner that actually cares about the people that come into his establishment. They always strive for the best environment anyone could ask for and it shows. Hands down best gym I have ever attended.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve already posted a review on the Southport location where I explained that I lived in Southport and drove to the Castleton Lifetime to work out and how Southport Mei blows lifetime outta the water. Now I had to move to Castleton and was scared to check out the Fishers Mei because no way it is gonna be as good. If anything it’s better than what I already thought was the best gym in Indy. Keep it up Mel! Can’t wait to check out Keystone when it opens!

Experiencia fantástica: I spent several years working out at LA. Recently, I joined Mei. As I was signing up Mel (the owner) came up introduced himself and welcomed me to his gym. A week or so later I’ve noticed this gym is spotless and smells clean! The staff is always cleaning and wiping down machines. No machine is broken and no barbells are bent. Also, this gym being a true 24hrs is also really convenient. I recommend trying this gym!!

Experiencia negativa: Details of my account and cancellation policies were messed up and miscommunicated by the company, wherein I am being forced to pay for an extra month that won't be put to use since I am traveling and then moving, although I had followed exactly what I was told by an employee during my sign-up in how to cancel my membership. Other in-gym employees were very dismissive of my problem and told me to "take the problem up with the owner" but offered no ways of contact to do so and were offering for me to pay the fees ahead of time before my trip and my move, even though said fees were pointless on my end. Upon emailing a lengthy explanation and asking for any sort of consideration to the gym's main email, I had to message their social media just to assure a response. Even so, the later emailed response was short, dismissive of my entire issue, lacked any acknowledgement of the mistake on their end, and simply restated the miscommunicated policy in a way as if the miscommunication were completely my fault, rather than their poor customer service, staff's, and shady business ethics. And, in the end, they were still going to take my money -- that's all that seems to matter to them. I replied to that company email, again asking for reconsideration and reiterating that I had followed the instructions given to me by gym staff, and got not even one reply or acknowledgement of it. Combine that "customer service" with a small, messy and unorganized gym where patrons rarely put equipment back where they should and never wipe machines after use, and you get Mei Fitness. Seeing other poor reviews in regards to customer service, billing, and cleanliness, I now realize I should've taken my money elsewhere. Horrible experience, never again and never recommending. Thank goodness I'm traveling and moving altogether so soon.

Experiencia negativa: My account details were messed up on their end. This has made cancelling my membership impossible. It seems like they use 90s era gym cancellation tactics to get you to pay fees and extra months. That or they really are just bad at managing their business. Read the other reviews about how dirty this place is and how unethical they are. Combine that with a total lack of customer service as well as consistently dirty bathrooms, showers, and workout areas and you get a gym that isn't worth your money. Ten minutes up the road is the nicest gym in town. It's called lifetime fitness. Take your money there instead. They won't mess up your billing like MEI Fitness does either.

Experiencia fantástica: By far best fitness facility I’ve ever trained at in my 40 plus years bodybuilding and fitness training. Locally owned and open 24 hours gives this gym a big advantage over other local facilities. I love the fact the owner is always changing and adding new equipment, and it’s clean,clean,clean. Good vibe with all ages of people from HS kids to old guys like me. Very affordable, check this one out if your looking for a great place to get fit.

The owner does his best to accommodate needs of members and gets certain machines according to the members wants. Not your typical branch chain corporate owned gym, this owner definitely puts us first unlike those corporate gyms.
