The nurses and doctors don’t make you feel like you’re a burden or that they don’t have time for you. They take the time to listen to and answer any questions you have. Experiencia negativa: I have been bringing my daughter to Watchung Pediatrics for 4 years now and can honestly say I witness it getting worse every time I have to bring my daughter in. I originally started in the Fanwood office but then transferred to the warren office as I felt the staff was friendlier. After my last sick visit in Warren I decided not to return and came here instead, Big mistake. I am self pay and brought my daughter in for a sick visit as she spent all day/ night coughing, sneezing and with a fever. I waited over 2 hours to see the doctor (not the biggest problem, id wait longer if needed). my daughter had her temperature taken I was told that she had no fever, when I asked the nurse to check again (because I was not going to bring her in if she didn't have a fever) the nurse told me their was no need to check her temp again. After waiting over an hour in the consultation room we are met with a very dismissive doctor who simply checked my daughters ear, chest, and throat. the doctor told me to give her Tylenol if the fever returned and come back if she gets another fever. she wasn't in the room for more than 5 minutes and after asking the doctor if she was going to test for anything she told me again to return is the fever persisted and we would test then if necessary. I also asked if she thought it was normal that she had a fever this morning that went down on its own in 2-3 hours to which the doctor responded that I must have taken her temp on the ear she was sleeping on. So as she ended her consultation we went to the front desk, paid for our visit and headed home. when I got home I checked her temp and of course she had a fever, I even picked up a new thermometer on the way home. needless to say I took my daughter to another doctor that same day who tested her and actually made an effort to diagnose my daughter and get her on the necessary treatment plan. Will not be bringing my daughter back.

As a physician myself I understand the difficulty in providing quality care in this challenging healthcare system and they do, consistently. front desk especially Camille and Eva, the MA are amazing and treat us like family. They are so respectful and wonderful with kids. My kids actually look forward to going :) I am amazed at how well the practice runs. I have seen other doctors at this location and they are all compassionate and competent.

Dr Gillard was able to exam her and sit with us to explain all the possibilities of what our daughter could have been experiencing. She has been very helpful in resolving our daughter's alignments. I feel the providers listens to concerns and looks for ways to help. You can call anytime and someone will get back to you in an appropriate time frame. I love it here at my home office, but the others are great also. Love Dr. Koward.

I was confused to hear that a form submitted post visit would require a charge. Dr Barash was straight forward / direct.

Thorough, professional and their staff is great, they get back to me - ALWAYS return my calls (no matter what) and are super friendly. 5 stars cause there is no option for 6! ALSO, THEY ALWAUS HAVE TIME FOR US!!!! And I am very surprised by any of the negative reviews on here. They have been spot on with any ailments my kids have had and if it is past their realm, they refer you for further evaluation by a specialist. Cautious with meds and prescriptions as well, they don't just give our kids medications and send you on your way.

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: They lost my infant sons blood vial….I have NO words for this. DO NOT go to this location, make sure to choose Warren. Truly unbelievable. I want to start by saying I truly love Watchung Pediatrics we are typically patients of their WARREN office, but had a bad experience at Fanwood. We just moved and the Fanwood is much closer to our house and there is such a stark difference in terms of care and patient service that I was seriously shocked Came in with my infant son and the front desk staff was super rude and abrupt with us bizarrely. Then we had to get a blood draw and what a nightmare!!! The tech literally could not find the vein kept Reinserting it 4-5 times it was awful - and I have NEVER had that experience at Warren After that incident I normally feed him to soothe him - and the person said “oh they need these rooms for sick patients don’t think you can stay here”. Meanwhile there were 4-5 empty rooms and no one in the waiting area….and you guessed it Warren office they alway have found a way no matter how busy they are. Super disappointed that there is such a big difference between offices but do yourself a favor and go to Warren you’ll love it!

Experiencia fantástica: The Patient Portal is convenient to use and nurses are responsive to messages and voice mails/calls. Front desk is occasionally curt but they are busy. The procedure for Covid protocols are in place and communicated. Ronda was very friendly in checking us in at the sick visit. Over the years we had consulted with a few doctors at Fanwood branch and all of them are nice but for me the outstanding doctor is Dr Koward whom we have been seeing recently. She is a very good listener, shows kindness and empathy, and all her advices work on my son’s health issues. Thank you, Watchung Pediatric!

The doctors are incompetent and diagnosed my son with an eye issue that he does not have (confirmed by his old pediatrician he is fine). All of his measurements were wrong. They are rude. Cold. And they are now withholding my son’s medical records as we’re trying to switch back to our old doctor (we moved and are now willing to drive an hour to return to our old office). Stay far away.

Watchung Pediatrics has a LOT of patients and a lot going on at any given time, but they've never appeared stressed or overwhelmed We've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be placed in a room. When I leave a message on the nurse's line, I always receive a call back within an hour. Every time I've forgotten to ask a question at a checkup, Dr. Kramer has managed to bring up the subject and answer my forgotten question without me even having to ask it! Great people, great practice.

Experiencia negativa: I've been coming to this location since my daughter has been born, she will now be a year old. Being a young mom in my 20's and informing the doctors this is my FIRST child, i felt like the doctors didn't make an effort to go into depth about my daughters wellness, or inform me about the car seats or go into details about vitamins for example. We would go for my daughters appointment and be out within 15 minutes. When I brought up a concern about a mark on my daughter, the doctor quickly looked at it and said it's nothing serious, handed me the papers and said we're done. Also, I was never told about a prescription they had sent out for my daughter until 6 MONTHS after. In order to make appointments you have to call the office and they NEVER answer the phone. In order to get a hold of someone at the office you MUST leave a VOICEMAIL every single time, only THEN they'll return your phone call. One of the receptionist is very nice and will answer and help out with every question/problem you may have. Out of all the doctors in this Fanwood location only ONE will answer every question you have, if you ask of course. I will be leaving this location, and sadly it's something that I should've done moths ago.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Watchung Pediatrics since my son was 3 months old. My son is now 13 years old and he feels very comfortable with the doctors, nurses and rest of the staff. I have had the opportunity to to experience care over my son at both the Fanwood and Warren office locations. The staff is lovely, compassionate, helpful and understanding. I honestly was afraid to think that we had to let them go when I was in consideration to move to another state. I literally ask the nurse if I could take her with me lol. Thank goodness I didn't. If you guys ever consider giving out I love Watchung Pediatrics shirts I would so rock it lol. Love you guys and keep up the good work it's well appreciated trust me.

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment to have my 1 week old daughter seen yesterday and I’m under my mother’s insurance still well when I got there for the appointment they told me they can’t take my daughter because she isn’t covered and I was going to have to pay over $100 out of pocket. Well today I call my insurance and they tell me she is 100% covered for everything for the first 30 days. I’m so glad I chose to wait until I called my insurance before paying them over $100. I will never even consider going here again.
