I was impressed with how in-depth the initial evaluation was and all the therapy services they offer to get any issue fixed. The billing office met with me on day 2 to discuss exactly how much my insurance would pay for each of the services, appointments, brace, orthotics etc and I haven’t paid a penny more. The people who help me with my therapy are fun to work with and seem to really care about getting you better. As a physician in the area, I would recommend them for my family and my patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Boyd and team are the best I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been to a number of different physical therapy places in the area but none have made me feel as much like family as AH&W. Every employee from admin staff to the PT pros to the doc himself greets me every time I walk in, and asks me how I’m feeling. If you can’t remember all your exercises, Nick will probably notice quickly and step right in to help you. Lying down and forgot the band or ball for knee exercises? Right there for you. Forget if you’re doing it right — here’s a quick refresher! Manual massage is the best, too. Craig is always courteous to ask if the pressure is strong but comfortable. They change up the PT who works with you every visit so you get to see who works best with you. Every phase of your treatment, Michelle will go over your pain and help you advance along, and Matt is extremely effective finding your best option to cover the reasonably price care. Their hours are longer than expected, too - great for after work PT! Thanks for keeping that window open for me, Kristen! Adjustments here are like nothing I’d ever experienced. I explained my woes to Dr. Boyd and he calmly and confidently assured me he get me straightened out. I had no idea I was so tight in my neck and back, but he fixed me right up! Pain in my foot? Explained what five other docs couldn’t. And my migraines? Dr. B’s pressure point work fixed in 90 seconds what it can take meds 2+ hours to fix. There a reason they win the BOM award so often. Highly recommend them! If you need additional help, they have the medicine group working side by side to take you back for trigger point injections as well!

I try to stay active by lifting weights, cycling, and hiking but I was completely mobilized after I injured myself. After a couple months of treatment by the team at advantage I’m back to a normal life and pushing my limits in the gym. They have the know how to get you feeling better and will also help you understand the mechanics of your problem so that you can get rid of the pain for good! So thankful for this team and I know that I will be back many times to receive general wellness care and ask all of the questions I have. Could not recommend enough!

Every person on staff is there to provide the best service to the patient. I had nagging injuries from years of physical abuse to my torso and knees from service in the army. I went in with three problem areas. Three months later I feel great. Not only do I feel repaired, I have education, stretches, and exercises for future injury prevention. Physical therapist Craig is an excellent practitioner. He worked on me for most of my treatments. I felt like a D1 or pro sports athlete. I am 60 and still a tactical athlete. More important I am a grandfather. I don't ever want to tell my grandchildren I can't go on an adventure with them. Experiencia negativa: The physical therapists seem to care, but the billing practices at this place are extremely shady. I’m owed more than $200 and never received the money. The finance team are almost impossible to reach and seem to dodge calls. Only go here if you don’t care about your money. This is my first negative review but they care more about money than about people here.

As in you're given exercises and you check in, your given a manual massage, and then an adjustment and it seems very quick. So yes to APM, which I'd give 5 stars. I've been going here for over three years, and the thing that keeps me coming back is APM. Overall, 4/5.

I was referred to two other "pain clinics" but after doing research and reading reviews I was drawn to try Advantage because of their clinic being a drug free facility. I did not want to have to take or rely on "pain pills " for pain management. I cannot say enough great things about the staff at Advantage! I have been treating with them on & off for my illnesses and different injuries for the past 3 years. The staff here goes above & beyond for their patients. I can honestly say you will never feel like "just a number" while under their care. They honestly care about your physical and mental well being. No matter how busy they are.. you are never left waiting for very long during any stage of your treatment, every single employee greets you by name and asks how you are doing. They make sure you are well taken care of while you're receiving your treatments / P.T. I myself have severe social anxiety and they have always accommodated me & made me extremely comfortable during my treatments.. I think the entire staff here rocks! Past & present. But gotta give shout outs to Dr. Barko, Dr. Boyd, Michelle Libell, Dr. Filcheck, Matt Heater and Oan D. If you're wanting an EXCEPTIONAL medical team helping you to recover and alleviating your pain you need to call Advantage Health & Wellness today. I refuse to go anywhere else for my pain management!

Experiencia fantástica: I came in hoping for some back relief and I was amazed at the care they take to insure you work through your program and come out feeling at the top of your game! I’ve never had patient care like this before at any office. Shout out to the advantage wellness team especially Hannah and Chad for making me feel super welcome and like a friend but getting the job done to help me through my program. Also a very big thank you Dr. Boyd, The best chiropractor I’ve had the pleasure to meet and he helped tremendously.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot sing enough praises for Advantage Health and Wellness. I went in November 2022 for sciatic pain down my right leg and tight traps/shoulder issues. This is not a one visit type of office. You go in for an initial consult with a team of doctors and physical therapists and they as a team come up with a treatment plan. My plan consisted of injections with APM (their sister company of sorts that is right in the building, where they specialize in injection trigger point therapy, physical therapy (exercises and manual massage, sessions of TENS unit and laser) and chiropractic adjustments. Dr Boyd the chiropractor, is EXCELLENT. I mean this man was BORN to be a doctor. In my mind, manyyyyy other doctors need to take a lesson from him in bedside manner, he is a an absolute gem. Hannah and Chad are so amazing with manual therapy and everyone is coordinated seamlessly so you almost never have to sit around and wait. This office is like a well oiled machine. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly accommodating when it comes to scheduling and coordinating. If you’re looking for an out from frequent pain, I have EVERY confidence Advantage can help. If you stick to their program, it really does work, and by some odd chance it’s not, they are more than happy to alter their plan and figure out the root of the problem. It’s really a beautiful experience. Again, if you’re looking for a quick crack and out the door situation this probably isn’t for you but I am a huge proponent of their multi-faceted treatment approach. If you give them a chance I’m convinced you won’t regret it. Heck I wish I had started this process years ago, as a preventative thing. Matthew in billing is also a star. Skyler at the front desk is a sweet sweet angel, and EVERY SINGLE ONE of the ladies that do the injections is a delight. There are so many talented people in that office I believe they set themselves up for success. Truly cannot sing their praises enough.

Experiencia negativa: Not a fan of their system. Seems pushy & scamming. Idk anyone with a normal work schedule that can clear their schedule to suit your thousand dollars "treatment" plan. Also I am paying for doctors not to be sat down in front of a TV program that everyone watched explaining what was going on. Along with the treatment appeared to be the same for everyone. Sorry but yins seem like you got a money plan more than a help plan. Plus when spoken with about injections. It seemed almost like a game to get more money & alittle forceful the way it was presented before I even knew what my issues were or even spoke with a doctor. Id try another place if you wanna actually feel like the doctors & team are taking the time to hear your issues.

Experiencia fantástica: I really don’t know where to begin to share my experience at Advantage Health & Wellness. I’d give them 10 stars had it been a choice. The front desk girls are all very friendly and kind which starts the beginning of a great experience. Dr. Barko, Dr. Boyd, APM and all of the therapist work together as a “TEAM” showing compassion and concern to met the needs of each patient and I must add there’s plenty of laughter during therapy, (at least for me there was while learning the different exercises). I over heard Dr. Boyd with an elderly patient, and the kindness and compassion in his voice as he explained several times what his procedure would be showed me that he really cared and she just wasn’t another number coming through. My therapy has helped improve the condition in my back and I’m looking forward to completion of all therapy and returning to life as normal . I highly recommend AHW-APM.

They have specailist, physical therapist, manual therapy, physicians, radiographers, assistants, and financial and scheduling personal, wich has been a blessing! And they all work great together to help you. Everyone here is not only competent but kind, and helpful. This is a one stop shop for your pain treatment. Everything is done under one roof! They keep you informed with treatment and goes over wich option is best for you. I was involved in a car crash that has completed haulted my life. I've been in near constant pain for almost a year now. I've done physical therapy at a different facility, wich helped but I was still in a lot of pain. I've been struggling with depression and anxiety thinking I would have to live like this for the rest of my life, and being in to much pain to go do the things i love has made it worse. Well yesterday I was able to do some intense stechting, and lightweight workout without my pain being unbearable, it actually felt amazing for the first time since the accident!!! It's like being on cruches for months and when you finally get rid of them you just want to take off running! And I've only been going for 2-3 weeks! I now have hope that I can get my life back! If your pain is preventing you from living life DO NOT WAIT another day. Go to Advantage health and wellness and get your life back!

Experiencia fantástica: I thought I was going in one day for a quick adjustment for my upper back pain. Little did I know that I would have a full exam with a chiropractic physician, physical therapist, and have x-rays taken. After completing my treatment plan over the past few months for my upper back, neck, and lower back pain I can wholeheartedly say I am extremely pleased with this clinic. They have the physical therapist (and assistants), chiropractor, and physician as well as Advanced Physical Medicine all in the same office space, working as a team on each patient. I had forgotten what it felt like not to have pain! I feel more free and comfortable and can hold my baby and do other things I want to more easily. I love that they were able to work together to solve the root of my pain and not just quickly "put a bandaid on it" so to speak. Plus they were very patient and helpful as I usually had to bring my toddler and baby with me. Every staff member with whom I interacted was friendly and kind. I HIGHLY recommend Advantage Health and Wellness! If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would!

I would especially like to commend Matthew Heater, the finance manager. It’s those behind the scenes people who keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. He has gone above and beyond with insurance issues getting resolved. So professional and courteous!!

Experiencia fantástica: I haven’t lived in Morgantown in over 10 years, however, due to an illness in the family I had to come back for an extended period of time. Of course, with my luck, I hurt my back right when my family member needed me most. I did a quick search and found Advantage Health and I am so glad I did. This is your one stop shop for aches and pains. I’ve had a history of lower back issues where I need both chiropractic and physical therapy care. Typically, I would need to do it separately, but here they offer both. I knew my insurance wouldn’t cover it since it is out of network, however, Advantage was able to be very transparent and helpful with pricing. I was also working with a time crunch as I was only here for about a month. I was able to be evaluated thoroughly, given a treatment plan, and also offered different options as far as pricing and payment. Their social workers were able to offer my ChiroHealthUSA which for a low fee, you can get all the treatment you need for a more than fair price (they are two very amazing ladies). It would be what I would be paying, in network, for both Chiro and PT. Everyone here was so lovely and helpful from the Receptionists to the Doctors. I enjoyed speaking with every person there. You can tell they really care about you. I know so many people pass through there but I feel like everyone always remembered me and what we talked about my last session. My results were phenomenal. I was able to get pretty much all the way better by my last visit. I went from barely being able to bend forward to being able to with minimal discomfort. I continued my home PT and after another 2 weeks I was good to go. I wish we had one up in Pittsburgh, I wish I could rate them 10 stars!

Experiencia fantástica: Just want to start by saying I’ve been fighting back pain for over 8 years. I’ve spent a lot of time in bed unable to walk, sit or stand. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with chiropractors, physical therapist and pain clinics across the country. All of which failed. I contacted this facility as a last resort before searching for surgery options. I’m glad I did. Not only are the Doctors and staff extremely nice and knowledgeable but in less than 2 months I’m basically pain free. I’m back to my normal routine and look forward to hitting the ski slopes this winter. This place saved my life! If you have pain that affects your daily life, don’t think, just call them and follow their directions and you will get better!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here for over a year. Dr. Boyd is a great chiropractor. I get trigger point injections through APM. They are all wonderful and the shots help. I have also had to have physical therapy and all the physical therapist I've had have been helpful. They provide massage, E-Stim, Ultrasound, stretching as well as exercises for the area that needs the therapy. All of the other staff you interact with are friendly and helpful. They have office hours set up so that everyone can find a convenient time for an appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: Since my accident on January 24,2021, I was receiving care from another health care provider. And after seven visits, I did not really notice any significant changes to my health and wellness. I have always driven by Advantage Health and Wellness as I drove to work. So I called and set an appointment to be seen. After my evaluation, I was given a schedule of three visits per week. After two weeks of services, I became a firm believer in their process! The process aids your body to repair itself without drug assistance. And although my current condition is not at 100% pre-accident, I am able to continue with my work with little discomfort. I owe Advantage Health and Wellness and Advanced Physical Medicine a million thanks for their experience and expertise, their personalism and professionalism and for treating me as a person...as family!
