Experiencia negativa: I called yesterday and no one answered. I pushed the number to get to the front desk and I got rerouted by the phone tree. I tried 3 times. I signed up for the 3 day pass and I never received it. My doctor referred me here

Experiencia negativa: HORRIBLE! Billing services there are rude. The billing manager, Audrey, is not qualified for the position, stressed out, and disrespectful to well paying clients. The communication at the Sports Club is lacking and I have just about had it.

Experiencia negativa: Pretty expensive but they do have a daycare... Pretty expensive you do get a personal trainer for 3 sessions... it maybe more now who knows but it was worth it.

Experiencia positiva: Nice for what it is. It is a fitness club with pool and racquet ball and is conveniently located in a hospital complex. There is an adjoining cafe which is nice. Towel service is provided and locker area is nice. Shower area needs major renovations. Pools are dimly lit without a lifeguard on duty. It looks kinda like you're in a 1980s time capsule. But, then, I like it like that. It is overpriced for what the club is.

Experiencia negativa: Big, diverse facility but run down and poorly managed. I was interested in the pool, specifically, but when I got there, the pool's heater was broken, the hot tub was out of order, and cold plunge was broken. For $85 a month, I would expect the some of the facilities I want to use to be up and running. Not the case. Nearly everything I was interested in was broken.

I guess it was OK they had one of those bouncy houses and a lot of basketballs but other than that it was pretty much just a big Room for kids to run around it I think I would have went to like chucky cheese who are some other place for a kids birthday I don't know if they paid but I'm sure it was much too much money for what they did another strange thing they did was they collected the gifs in the beginning when he came in and gave in to the mother and father when they left so there was known gift opening type thing when all the kids like I would definitely not recommend this place

Place is basic white all around , I feel like I am working out at my grandmas house . No wonder the Sixers left a long time ago , no appeal.

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible and very over priced. When it first opened it was a great place. However, since that day it has not upgraded anything. In addition, I have been trying to speak with somebody regarding a personal and confidential issue for the past 4 days. I have been told multiple times by different managers that nobody in charge was available until next week but until then I could to speak with Kelly who is apparently the manager of operations. I finally get in touch with her this morning (after I called her yet again). During the entire conversation she was rude, laughed at me and told me that I called simply because I wanted to argue. Kelly then told me that I had been on speakerphone so other coworkers could hear my private conversation regarding the confidential matter. The conversation ended with her refusing to give me her last name, the name of the coworker listening and Kelly hanging up on me. Sounds like a great place to go!

Experiencia positiva: Huge facility. 2 regulation basketball courts, 10 indoor tennis courts, 3 racquetball courts, 3 squash courts, a spin studio, a yoga studio, a Barre studio, a couple of exercise studios, an Olympic-size pool, and activity pool for kids and water exercises. More classes per week than you can count. Lots of cardio equipment, weight training equipment, free weights, kettlebells, exercise mats. Both the men's and the women's locker rooms have a hot tub, steam room, cold dip, and sauna. Towel service too. This is serious gym. If you really want to get in shape this is the place for you. Not glitzy. Not new and shiny. Real. For the monthly membership cost, the Healthplex is frankly a bargain. Oh yes, and covered parking too.

Experiencia fantástica: Quality workout area with nearly every need being addressed. Machines, free weights, swimming, tennis, classes, counseling, cardiovascular and exercise specific needs are addressed. The availability of varied activities makes for an accommodating workout center. Personal Trainers are qualified and available. The center could benefit from having a few walk around exercise coaches as many, especially mature and non familiar athletes perform movements improperly and out of sequence. Good bright and fully serviceable workout center. Affordable and accessible.

Experiencia positiva: Pretty nice gym, hardly ever crowded. Equipment is a little dated but that doesn't really matter. Indoor tennis courts are a plus but you have to pay which is a bummer for members. Overall really nice with many workout options

Experiencia fantástica: I am not a member here, but have visited as a guest. I found the facilities to be clean in general. I have not yet used most of the facilities, but have used the pools, hot tubs, showers, and locker room. My only negative was that the hot tubs are part of the locker room areas rather than the general pool area. Since I like to visit a gym with my girlfriend we have to use them separately. I haven't decided if we will join yet as the monthly membership fee is high for my particular budget.

They offer a great variety of classes, the equipment available is top notch and the trainers are supportive and encouraging! If you're looking for a new gym with perks, definitely visit the HealthPlex. The steam room and sauna are my favorite after a hard work out with my trainer... AND If you're looking for a trainer, you will HAVE to book a session with Will Sutton!! He's worth your time and will challenge you while encouraging you!! I've seen results already and I appreciate his time as well as the effort he puts into developing my workouts and pushing me past my perceived limits. I'll be adding the reformer classes into my routine soon enough!!

Experiencia negativa: If you're thinking about joining the Healthplex, I have a word of advice for you: Don't. It's in deplorable, run down condition. Gym fees are sky high compared to the quality of the facility. I recently brought a guest here, and he was shocked by the filth. Not only is it run down, but it is also dirty. See yelp for photos. The gym used to be wonderful in the 90s and early 00s, but they haven't updated it since then. It looks the same as it did 20 years ago. Cmon healthplex- it's time to renovate. If you are going to be cheap with renovations, then at least make our membership fees comparable to the state of the facility. The person running this has 0 business acumen. Ps- the staff are very unprofessional and rude. They need a course in business 101.

Experiencia fantástica: Loved it here. Super expensive in comparison to say LA Fitness but you get so much more here. Sauna, steam room, cold plunge, hot tub, clean showers, full pool, spacious lockers, lounge and dressing stations. That's before you even get to the full track, basketball court, tennis courts and work put equipment. Also all the free classes offered and the personal trainers on staff. Super expensive but worth every penny!

Experiencia negativa: I went in with my husband and daughter for a tour. The women in charge of membership were rude and unenthusiastic. They seem to think pretty highly of themselves. Who knew the Healthplex was such an exclusive club? We found the facility dirty and in need of upgrades. We're going with the Rocky Run YMCA again. Cheaper, cleaner and the staff is much friendlier.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place. The facilities are great for both individual needs and family needs. The club has a great range of hours as well. The club can get crowded between 3 and 8pm, so it's best to avoid those hours if you don't want to feel crowded or feel as though you need to rush your workouts. Overall, it's just an awesome place.

Guess I will just have to endure the smelly track, sweaty mats, and horrendous customer service. Save your money: run outside, get some weights inside, and work out with friends in your basement. It will be a better experience and you can spend your money better things

Experiencia fantástica: This club has everything! The basketball and tennis courts are some of the best in the area. They have basketball and tennis leagues that cater to different skill levels. Their fitness classes and programs are phenomenal! They stay up to date with all the latest fitness class releases. This is a family/kid friendly club. The facility is amazing! Probably the nicest on the east coast.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place for keeping fit. If you are a runner, there is a great indoor - 5 laps to the mile - track. I don't know of anywhere else in the state that has as long an indoor track. The surface is easy on the legs as well. Some members complain about the cost, and it is expensive, but they continue to pay it, like I do. It's worth it: tennis, basketball, squash, handball, swimming, gym equipment, fitness classes, spas, knowledgeable pleasant staff, what more can you ask? Oh, yes, large, clean locker rooms with hot tub, sauna, steam room and showers.

I have been to all the clubs around and nothing even compares to this place. The expert staff and free fitness classes (other places charge for them) are a bright spot. Always keep members updated on events and new classes on facebook and website. Anyway, this place is really cool and always open.
