Experiencia fantástica: New to GA and the anxiety of having to transition was high, however the medical staff were so patient and most importantly, communication was very good. I’m so happy that my mom is under the care of Ascend Medical staff. My experience exceeded my expectations and the ability to have several options to accommodate patients were a bonus. Thanks for making us feel apart of the team!

Experiencia negativa: I sent a message to my primary 5 days ago and have not had a response. Also, on the day of my appointment the doctor told me I would be receiving a call to schedule my appointment with the Mobile medical, 5 days later I still have not received a call!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I requested to cancel my appointment the morning before it was scheduled. The morning of, I receive an email to log in for the appointment. I rush to get my laptop set up. As im doing that i get a call from Shelby. I tell her i had cancelled the day before and she asked did i want to go ahead with my visit since it didnt get cancelled. As i am getting connected she says "oh, there it is. It just cancelled" and i couldnt be seen. Yes i had requested to cancel but was asked if i wanted to go ahead with the appointment. Now in a matter of seconds i can no longer be seen. I was told i would need to reschedule. My issue is this...that 15-30 min that was set aside for my appointment did NOT suddenly disappear. It did NOT get scheduled by someone else. These are supposed to be professionals capable of making reasonable decisions as needed. Im not sure if she ever fully grasped what i was saying about the time did not just disappear. I did not reschedule. I have no complaint about the Dr at all. I was looking forward to working with her but dont think the office staff is capable of handling situations when and if needed.

The medical employee Celine was very patient and understanding when she took in my information. My Doctor named Peter Whatley was very knowledgeable in his field of expertise I felt very comfortable opening up to him. He gave me a sound resolution in a continuing health plan right from my place of employment on a video visit it was just as good as a being at the hospital, the copay with my insurance was very reasonable. I highly recommend Ascend Medical the video visit is free especially when your too busy to get to the hospital and it's no charge like other video visit with a providers that usually have a set costly fee price.

She likes to stay in touch with the complete picture. I have seen many therapists over the years and she is by far the one with whom I am the most satisfied.

Experiencia negativa: Dr Hawkins was great. Their team needs work. Lack of communication id say. I Seen the doctor at the end of October (great doctor btw) and I was prescribed 30 days worth of my medicine. The doctor didn't schedule my next appointment until the end of December! Which is fine and dandy as long as they can make sure I have enough meds to get me until that date. I've called and messaged them multiple times in regards to needing a refill for my medication from the time I was about to run out of meds, up to now (end of November to December 9th which is today).

Also she went above and beyond to locate a doctor in the network of my insurance which is closer to my house . Then too, she was patient with me and made sure that I understood what she was saying about my medication. I have a fluid build up in my ankles and she said it was from my amlodipine 10mg . She said, if anyone is on that medication a long period of time that medication builds up fluids in the ankles. I didn’t know that. Thank you, Doctor Hope! My other doctors said I had arthritis, but that was far off the charts because I didn’t have any symptoms of that. They you guys, better get a second opinion before you decide to take medication that causes other issues!!! I recommend that everyone contact on website for Dr Hope at Ascend Medical !!! She is awesome!!! I will be using her again this month for weight loss consultation!!! BMiller

Their platform and customer care transformation were evident right from the start. The $20.00 house visit call for labs, which needed to be paid only when they came to your house, not before, is a nominal fee considering the exceptional care I received from this team. The support team, medical assistant, and care management coordinator at Ascend Medical were truly top-notch. They were professional, knowledgeable, and caring throughout the entire process. Their service was truly A+. I highly recommend being specific about your needs when dealing with any healthcare provider. While no one is expected to perform miracles, being your own best advocate as a patient is crucial. Ascend Medical excelled in their part of the equation, going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and my health was prioritized. I want to thank the entire Ascend Medical team for providing me with such a wonderful new patient experience. Additionally, as a hard-of-hearing individual, I use a Chrome browser with built-in live captioning technology that is incredibly helpful and works with Ascend medical telemed platform. When you log in to your visit, there is a virtual waiting room just like an in-person appointment. Please be mindful of their time, and I recommend connecting about 30 minutes before your appointment. A nurse will connect with you to review your medical concerns, and you will return to the main waiting room. The provider will connect with you shortly after and take over the call. After your visit is done, you return to the waiting room to check out with another Ascend medical team member to go over your next steps, i.e., labs and your next follow-up appointment. VERY WELL ORGANIZED! Overall, my telemedicine experience with Dr. Peterson and the team at Ascend Medical was exceptional, and I am grateful for the care and attention they provided. Thank you for helping me get my health and life on track!

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Peterson was great during my appointments. The communication from the team is terrible. I sent a My Chart message June 17th because my insurance needed information. I didn’t get a reply, so I sent another message June 25th. I got a reply 3 hours later. I then had to send another message July 20th because of a refill issue. I didn’t get a reply so I attempted to send another message July 23rd, but I got a message that says “You cannot reply to this conversation. It is too old to be replied to”. I tried to send a new message, but it says, “You do not have any available recipients for messages at this time”. I called and had to leave a voicemail. I have been calling every day since, multiple times a day, at different times of the day, no answer, and no call back. This morning, I’m missing my next dose of diabetic medicine because they don’t reply. I have never had an issue getting in contact with the medical team.

Not the type of organization that builds trust that is required for a medical service provider. Recently they seem to be ran like a money grabbing company desperate to increase their bottom line. I would not recommend this company in good faith.

The cost was much less than other providers, and they took my insurance for the office visits and bloodwork wears other companies did not. I had to submit those for reimbursement. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional The PA I met with was great! Convenience of video office visits saved so much time out of my day, the quality of the video was great. It was like you were right in the office with him.
