She is down to earth, extremely welcoming and non judgy, she cares about her patients inside and out. It’s very clear that she does not just see her patients as a paycheck but truly as a person. Megan explains everything in detail and makes sure you understand it before you leave the clinic. She isn’t one to just push medication on you, instead give you ideas and gives you the option of what you want to do. I recommend Megan to everyone!

Experiencia negativa: Stay far away if you have small children!!! Megan was out of office & so we proceeded to see Jennifer. A few days later my newborn son needed a heel prick test and instead of sending us to the lab (like Megan had suggested), Jennifer insisted we do it in house. It was a nightmare. It took them 15 minutes just to find the right equipment. Once they did, the woman who did the test did it wrong and then another woman took over and had to poke him again. They did a messy job, blood all over & my baby was screaming for 45 minutes while he got his poor little leg squeezed (he was only a week old, mind you). Come to find out the woman who preformed the test was a student and had never done one before. Jenn took it upon herself to make my son a guinea pig for her students benefit and never once informed me of it. The whole time the woman was doing the test I thought she was the nurse but she was a STUDENT. This practice caused unnecessary trauma to my son for their gain and never allowed me to give INFORMED consent. If I knew she was a student I would have never consented. Fast forward months later, we decide to see Megan again (but only because we were desperate and hadn’t found a new practitioner yet). My son is sick and we needed advice on what to do. Usually at a Dr. office you can call in and talk to a nurse who can give you some direction. Well, forget that, they don’t even have one. Just a rude medical assistant who can only schedule you weeks out. We draw the line here, Active family. Don’t call yourself a family practice if you can’t take care of little ones. Megan, if you’re reading this… if you ever change practices, please let us know. We have enjoyed you as our practitioner but this practice (& Jennifer) can no longer get our business.

Experiencia negativa: After going to emergency room, set up appointment with AFHC. This was only place in town I could get into immediately, should of known at that point! During time of making appointment with AFHC & following day I was fortunate enough to make appointment with an endocrinologist. Called and canceled appointment with AFHC and left message (office was closed) that I was able to get into endocrinologist as this was a situation that was an emergency. Now they want their $50.00 for not canceling 24 hours in advance. No grace, no understanding ...the $50.00 is not the issue, I will pay it! My health is much more important than worrying about when I cancel an appointment and the $50.00. So heads up if you get the flu morning of your appointment plan on paying.
