Experiencia fantástica: Loved this clinic! We just moved into town and very happy with Parkside Pediatrics. Office is spacious, clean, wasn’t a long wait. Nurse was great and Dr. Lauren Williams was awesome very personable and caring. Glad we found this facility!

Experiencia negativa: A few years ago this would have been a 5 star review. They have really went down hill. Went for a 7AM sick appointment and the lights were off and doors locked. The rude woman at the desk looked up like she was about to call the police on us. She was rude and disgusted that we were there. It was so bad I did a double check to see if I was at the right place. Super bad attitude and after being told to arrive 15 minutes early they didn’t even unlock the door until 3 minutes after the appointment time. Nasty attitude and all.

Dr. Ashleigh Gardner is one of the kindest, compassionate and supportive doctors I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her unwavering understanding and commitment to her patients makes our trips to the doctor feel more like visiting family. Between the front desk staff, nurses and amazing medical assistants, Samantha in particular, there is no where else I’d trust with the wellbeing and guidance for my children. 10/10 recommended.

The front desk staff member, I forget his name, was working his butt off up there to assist all the patients coming in quickly and efficiently with a smile! Dr Anderson was SUPER sweet despite my helicopter parent moment during the visit hahaha. I couldn’t have had a better experience at a pediatrician’s office. Also, another nice touch is the “Well”, “Sick”, and “Newborn” areas of the waiting room. We felt very well cared for!

We have 5 children and Dr. Andersen is their pediatrician (for some since birth!) we feel like family and she has always helped us with any questions in early parenting- all the way up to the mid teens! That covers A LOT! We recommend Parkside to any parent and believe you will feel like family as well!

As a mom, I like that she focuses on my children and their concerns before my own. If she doesn’t have an immediate answer, she investigates and then follows up by calling me herself. How hard is that kind of personal care to find these days?!

Experiencia fantástica: We go to the Five Forks office, and see Matt Jones as our regular provider. We’ve also seen the on-call physician for sick visits. This office is highly responsive and the staff are welcoming and have great positive attitudes. We have never waited more than 20 minutes past our appointment time to be seen. The visits never feel rushed, and they fully welcome all questions and thoughts. I’m so thankful that we found this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m a single parent to a special needs child and it’s so difficult for me to find doctors that are understanding and accommodating to my sons needs. Matt was absolutely fantastic. He saw my son as a whole person, rather than just using his diagnosis as an excuse. He listened to my explanation on my sons needs and went out of his way to making special accommodations. I strongly recommend Matt to any parent, but especially to special needs parents!

Experiencia fantástica: Oh man. Where do I begin. Our provider Lauren Williams is AMAZING. She is kind, patient, reassuring, and makes sure she answers all this anxious moms questions. She never rushes me and is willing to have a 2 way conversation and considers my input, rather than just telling me what she is going to do. As a mom who is also a health care provider myself, I have a lot of (sometimes irrational) anxiety about my own child’s health and she helps put that at ease. I’m so happy we found her. She is a gem.

They are a wonderful team!!

However, the doctor that normally sees my kids (Dr. Terzella) is absolutely AMAZING. She truly cares about the kids. She takes the time to sit down and discuss what's going on. She doesn't rush you. And she is very knowledgeable. I can continue to go on and on but I won't. They make it so convenient when scheduling a visit either routine or sick. I cannot thank this group enough for their patience, support and even prayers. Yes, that's right prayers. Dr. Moll actually prayed with me when he came to examine my 2nd baby at the hospital.

Experiencia negativa: First choice Medicaid’s website shows in network and several providers accepting new patients. When the representative found out it was medicaid, I was told they were not accepting new patients and only seeing existing patients with Medicaid. This is a foster child and trying to find them adequate care is hard, fueled by greed. I was told we could join the waiting list if we wanted to but he did not sound optimistic.

Experiencia fantástica: We usually visit Greer, but Five Forks had an earlier opening for my sick little one. First time at this location, and they were amazing! Friendly, welcoming, efficient. It’s so good to know we have support at another location when needed.

Experiencia fantástica: I had gone through about 5 pediatricians/pediatric offices and a private family Doctor until we were told about parkside from a friend. I said what do I have to lose at this point and set my daughter's appointment for her next wellcheck. From that moment, on once we had come to our appointment, I knew that I FINALLY found the right pediatric office!!! I immediately set everything up,without hesitation, when I found out I was expecting my 2nd child. When it came time to deliver, parkside sent a pediatrician to the hospital right after my daughter was born. That in itself was impressive and awesome! This is when we met Dr. Stephen Jones. And to make this long story short, he has been our Doctor now for 11yrs! Dr. Jones is one of the most patient and understanding Doctors I have ever met. Not to mention knowledgeable with anything we throw his way....it says a lot when my daughters are older now but would still rather have Dr. Jones as opposed to a Female Doctor.... thank you so much Parkside Pediatrics for being amazing!!!

This is a practice that has grown like crazy to include more locations with more great people to continue to serve our community. They are doing medicine RIGHT! They are “sophisticated” with technology like online scheduling but haven’t lost one but of their practice focus on the personal touch of people to provide exceptional care to their patients and families.(And you can still call for an appointment too if you’d like!) We’ve always been greeted with a friendly face, a compassionate nurse, and a great care team of doctors. ALWAYS! My kids are all teens now and it’s gonna be tough to move them from Parkside Pediatrics.

One of the doctors (Dr. Woodlief) called me, after hours, with test results for my daughter so I wouldn’t worry overnight - every parent can appreciate that! :) Very impressed with every doctor and nurse I have seen, as well as the office staff. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Anderson is the best! I thought the baby/toddler stages were scary… Then I became the mom of a teenager. She gets to the root of any issue, makes sure you and your child feel heard and you understand the plan moving forward. Blessed to have her see my kiddos.

Experiencia fantástica: My family of four needed flu shots. Scheduling was easy, we were seen on time, and were there less than five minutes.

Experiencia negativa: I was very disappointed at my recent experience with Parkside Pediatrics and would like to help make others aware of their deceptive practice. After a recent move and starting a new job, I was unable to get insurance through my employer immediately, so I signed my children up for CHIP/Medicaid through Select Health until the first of the year, to fill the gap. Parkside is listed by my insurance provider as accepting new patients under my plan, so I went to their website for directions on registering two new patients. Under the "New Patient/Child Registration" page, it states "If your child has Medicaid, please call our office to register instead of completing the online forms." I called, only to find out that this was not the truth. They actually don't accept ANY child with CHIP/Medicaid insurance. I'm sure that this discrimination is perfectly legal, but it did leave me with a horrible feeling about their practice that I thought I would make others aware of. It's clear to me now that the directions on their website are there only to make them appear more inclusive to the public, while quietly excluding certain patients. Honest instructions would simply state "Children with CHIP/Medicaid Need Not Apply". Why should I and others have to waste our time calling in, only to be told that we cannot apply?, just so Parkside can appear to be accepting of all patients when they actually are not? I spoke with two people at the office, to whom one I did try to explain that my children's CHIP/Medicaid was only temporary and would be changing to a different plan in 90 days. The response was basically "feel free to call us back when you have real insurance". With two healthy children (Thank God) and many years of check ups, vaccinations and well visits to pay for in my family's future, I'm sorry to say, that won't be happening.
