Experiencia fantástica: Swendsen Chiropractic has been amazing for me and my family for years now. I'm in my 50s and do weights and cardio every single day, 7 days a week. Dr. J and Dr. T have done wonders for me - not only by keeping me aligned, but also with acute injuries from "overdoing it" - including shoulders, forearms, hips, and knees. The doctors are friendly and listen attentively to what I need. I appreciate that they don't waste my time and merely go through the motions, but really hone in on the specific parts of my body that are out of alignment or require some additional pre-adjustment care before they try to align me. They'll also try different techniques to align me if their standard techniques are not working at that moment. I honestly can say I've recommended them to others and have zero hesitation recommending them to anyone -- 10 out of 10. Thank you Docs!! You've helped me so much!!

Experiencia fantástica: I moved to the Puyallup area 2.5 years ago. I had a great chiropractor before I moved and was hoping to find one here. My back can be a bit tricky to adjust. I tried four different, well-reviewed doctors and none of them were able to reliably get my low back stabilized. So I gave up for about 2 years. But I was finally in so much pain, I decided to try again, and I'm so glad I did! I found Dr. J at Swendsen Chiro. The very first adjustment freed things up so much I felt a wash of cool tingles all the way down my leg (release of pressure on the nerve) and a total absence of the chronic pain I'd had since I moved here. Not surprisingly given my issues, it's taken about 2 months to start to feel stable again, but each adjustment gives me relief, and helps me go a little longer between visits. For the past week my back has been better than I can remember for a long time. I hear Dr. Todd, his brother, is very good, too, but I haven't seen him yet. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. I'm a cash-pay client and the cost is very reasonable. The staff are wonderful and caring. I even got a massage from Lindsey which was really great. Take it from me, save yourself some trial and error, and just start with these guys. You will be so glad you did.

They offer chiropractic treatment as well as massage, which is nice to have both options in the same office. Plus, their office is always so clean and tidy. They are a well oiled machine of getting patients in, out, and on their way. I’ve never had long wait times to see the doctors, unlike other medical offices. My husband and I both started visiting Swendsen and within the first visit we both felt immediate relief in the pain and severity of our symptoms. Experiencia fantástica: I have suffered from chronic migraines for 25 years with every trigger in the book. Going to a chiropractor was one of the only things I refused to try because I was terrified - even as a collegiate rugby player. Scared of being hurt by a neck adjustment and scared of someone trying to instantly cure me and setting off a 10 day long migraine (as acupuncture did, unfortunately). At age 37, I woke up with blinding pain in my shoulder and couldn’t pick up my baby. I came in, same day, to Swendsen. Dr J and Dr Todd are incredibly patient, they listen, they never force you or your body into an uncomfortable situation. They have made my life significantly better. I wish I’d met them years ago. I’d recommend Swendsen (and have) to anybody I know who suffers from chronic pain or injury. These men are pros who truly care about their clients.

I kept waking up in pain, I couldn't walk every well and everyday things were so difficult and exhausting. After a couple of visits, I started being able to sleep without any pain. Everyday things started getting easier and easier. I returned to work without any problems. I still go in about every 2 weeks. They are the best, flexible scheduling and great staff! Pinched nerve, had numbness all the way down my left arm to my fingertips! I was pretty freaked out. Swendsen was highly recommended by one of my coworkers so I went in. It took about two months of treatment, but slowly the guys got me back to normal. I was very happy with the whole staff, and especially the professionalism. I was met with an employee with a wheelchair as I could not walk, then after 2 weeks of treatment I felt 100% better!!!! I recently began seeing Maria for significant pain in my low back and pelvis. Of the massage therapists I’ve seen elsewhere, she is by far the most anatomically knowledgeable, and can explain to you where inflammation and tension are held (specifically), and why. She balances structural and corrective insight, however, with a rare receptivity and motherly energy. If you choose to see Maria, you will walk away feeling relaxed and reassured that she has your best interests in mind.

But I was introduced to Chiropractic care in the 80's by a co-worker knowing the pain I was constantly in.
