Experiencia fantástica: I cannot recommend Dr. John enough! I started seeing him over a year ago following a lower back golf injury. After first visit i noticed improvement, this could continued over a couple of months until i was back at full (swing)speed. This past summer i shot my best scores on the links. Doc and i also worked on some muscle therapy that i believe helped my game. My wife also started seeing the doctor this year pre and post pregnancy when her physical therapy was not doing the trick. She also raves about the doctor and his support staff. I would give 10/5 stars if i could!

I'm excited to continue working to repair the things going on and feel so lucky to have found a doctor that wants to help to get to the root of the problem instead of putting "band aids" on it and never addressing the issue.

Experiencia negativa: I came in with pain in my hip that didn't get addressed.... John tried to sell me some other services then only cracked my neck and back, wouldn't touch my hip as requested. Taking my business elsewhere, don't waste your time or money there!

Experiencia negativa: Very displeased. I was excited to find a chiropractor close to home that accepted my insurance. Before I went, I called and asked how long a new patient apt would last and was told about 45 min, but I was there over 2 hours and had to ask to hustle because I had to be elsewhere. The dr also had me get x-rays, but I wasn't informed this would be an additional cost (my mistake, I should have asked) and wasn't expecting a bill after I paid when there. When I called to ask about the unexpected bill, I was told it was actually a good rate and normally it's quite a bit higher. When I was leaving they wanted to set up 2 more apts for the following week but who has time for that?! While there he had me do a lot of hand-eye coordination exercises and led me to believe that I would be loosing my motor skills without more. The final straw was when he implied he could cure dyslexia. Thanks but no. I just want a place that will do readjustments without trying to sell me a new lifestyle.

Experiencia negativa: SCAM!!! Do not go here!!! The “Dr.” will literally tell you he chooses not to bill insurance because he knows they won’t pay for a certain service and that’s why it’s cash only, even thought my insurance has flat out said if they are in network it is all covered. I was told muscle work is cash only so I always chose not to do it. My appointments were never more than 5 minutes and each time he would try to pressure me into muscle work. I was always charged more than my copay which my insurance told me many times was all I would have to pay, I questioned it and believed the answer I got because I didn’t know better, recently switched chiropractors and they confirmed I only had to pay my co pay since my insurance does indeed cover everything like they said. Questioned this office and was told to talk to my insurance so I did that and was told they weren’t billing something to them so that was the extra charge, what they did bill was covered, they are not even giving my insurance the chance to pay it. Called back to ask why it wasn’t charged and was told the service was cash only and they didn’t bill it, not once was I asked if I even wanted the service, they always just did it and never said it was extra and on top of that the service was less than one minute the last 3 times, they knew I didn’t want to pay for “extras” and did it anyway without letting me know ahead. I am now waiting for a call back from the person in charge of billing. They are well aware of the issue and know exactly what they are doing when they rip people off.

Great service and sound medical advice is given. Love that the doctor continues advanced training for full body health and shares that with his patience. Best chiropractic care I’ve received to date.

I have been a patient since late August, and already see an improvement in body pain, and I’m sleeping so much better! The best part? He’s super affordable! They also offer massages, which also isn’t pricey. Will be a patient here for years to come!

After just a few minutes with Dr. Owings I knew there was much more he could offer so I decided to go all in and follow his plan to the letter. His style focuses on teaching you so that you can understand the changes you need to make in your lifestyle. Not only is my back feeling worlds better, but his overall healing plan has brought me significant weight loss, more energy, and improved sleep. I feel like I have gained another 10 years onto the end of my life because of the improvements made here. All of this and there is still the rest of the staff as well. The staff is very friendly and professional. I feel like I am going in to spend time with family when I head in for my appointments. And...and...there is a full time massage therapist which I fully recommend. He probably deserves his own full review. So do yourself a favor and book an appointment. You will feel better, live healthier, probably save thousands on future medical bills, and get a clearer understanding of how to take care of your body. 5 out of 5, would give 10 stars if I could.

I don't believe in going to a chiropractor 3 x a week for the rest of my life like many sell to you. John was not like that and he explained why I needed to come more or less frequently. Everyone is courteous, friendly, and genuinely happy to be helping people take a natural, wholistic approach to their own health and well-being. Everything was thoroughly explained from start to finish, including costs, care plans, how and what the body needs to heal, and how to achieve the results we are working toward.

Experiencia positiva: Adjustment was good and they keep thorough records, but that's the only positives I have. Firstly, this review is based on my experience. If Dr. John works for you then awesome! But for me, I felt pressured into a bunch of extra stuff. For instance, their staff and the Dr will push the Briantap meditation app on you. It's $10 a month - however, you can find free meditation apps or guided meditation on YouTube. And I'll bet you the free stuff is just as good as the subscription. Overall, the foreseeable future I see, is a lot of costs for things that I probably don't need. I ended up scheduling with a different recommended chiropractor for a 2nd opinion. Again, if dr. John is a good fit for you then go with it. This was my personal take.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bell is awesome. Traditional medicine shoves drugs down your throat to mask the symptoms, Dr. Bell helps you solve the problem. Getting adjust could be mildly painful and mostly uncomfortable, but it's well worth it. Short term pain for long term gain.

At AFCC all my concerns big and small have been taken seriously, addressed, and are taken care of. I feel so much better and I’m not even very far into my customized program. I was skeptical at first but my suspicions were quickly put to rest. Everyone should be involved in this type of care for preventative and maintenance care. Not to forget, the staff here is amazing. Sometimes I have a hard time relaxing when he adjusts my neck, but his never fail trick of telling me to wiggle my toes always works!
