My oldest son is on the spectrum and has high anxiety. He went from being really anxious at first to loving adjustments and saying they feel really good. I've seen several chiropractors before and he is the best with adjustments and neck adjustments. Others have struggled to adjust my neck due to how tight my neck is. Dr H is amazing with kids and everybody. Highly recommend them!

Caleb was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He also explained to me the benefits that chiropractic care could have to help both with back pain but also for my overall health in general. He made sure to explain everything he was doing during my first few visits to make sure I was comfortable while doing both the exam and adjustment. Since starting to see Dr. Caleb, I no longer have low back pain and my upper/mid back pain and stiffness is much only occasional typically after a long week of studying a lot. My body overall has been feeling less stiff and I have been able to sleep better at night. I can't recommend going to see Dr. Caleb at Truth Family Chiropractic in West Des Moines, IA enough! Update: Miller acknowledged he’s a snake oil salesman by returning the remainder of his sign up fee of more than $1000. That said, he’s reckless and doesn’t truly care about his patient’s health, especially if his patient is a wrestler. He reminds me of Jim Jordan.

Experiencia fantástica: Just started my health journey with Dr. H and very excited to see my improvements. Dr. H is very professional and passionate on what he does!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an acute back issue, whereas my L3 was twisted after bending to lift something at work. This was causing nerves to be pinched and muscles to spasm, putting me in tears as I contemplated calling an ambulance or driving myself to the ER. I chose instead to leave work a few minutes early and drive straight to Truth Chiropractic- and I am so thankful I did! It just so happened I was already scheduled for my routine visit that very afternoon. Within 24 hours of the injury, and after three amazing visits, Dr. H had massaged my spine back into alignment, giving near-instant relief when the vertebrae finally went back into place. I would be lying if I said it did not hurt as he manipulated my injury, but the pain of leaving it was worse. Dr. H was extremely comforting and professional in getting my muscles and spine to accept his techniques to put them back into alignment. If I had not gone to see Dr. H at Truth when I did, and had he/they not treated me so well, I don't know if I would be able to walk, let alone be back to work within 24 hours. I continue to follow their healing advice and will return for another adjustment today, and I am hopeful for a full recovery. Before this incident (which I had never experienced before), I routinely visited Truth Chiropractic for spinal alignment adjustment and nutritional counseling as prevention against health-related issues. I credit their teaching and guidance in the holistic health of getting and keeping the spine/body in optimal health so that our body will heal quickly and efficiently as we encounter illness or injury. Thank you, Dr. Miller and your whole team! As an active, physical Grandpa in his 50's, I appreciate healthcare practitioners who speak the TRUTH!

Our 9 month old at the time was having reoccurring ear infections and we were advised to try chiropractic care before getting on another antibiotic or getting tubes put in. After our first week of seeing Dr. Miller our son’s ears drained and we have not had any more ear infections since seeing Dr. Miller regularly. We recently brought in our 2.5 year old to get adjusted due to constipation issues since he was an infant. After being adjusted regularly he is pooping every single day! Suddenly I'm popping more pills than a junkie and who knows what else on my body as a side-effect from the drug(s). There are so many foods and drinks we consume which are downright harmful to our body's from toxins and preservetives. Virtually, there is no regulatory body that keeps this in check anymore; and then we wonder why we have gut and auto-immune disorders from lack of a healthy diet. I want to be proactive with my healthcare and ward things off which ultimately prolongs your life as well as gives you quality of life to boot! Dr. Miller's dinners and health seminars are intriguing and make you think we are handling our health maintenance in a backwards manner. I love his genuine approach and passion for his craft. I really feel a "partnership" with him in he seems to be as concerned about my health as I am. The office is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, yet therapeutic and efficiently professional for getting results. The staff seems to be all for one accord and kind, courteous to the clients. They work with you to work out as comfortable and the least crunch to your economical budget plan. All the while monitoring your progress to guarantee the results that everyone is striving for. I would say that I have never met a chiropractor that takes his profession and dedication to personal health as seriously as Dr. Miller. He is not high pressure in any way and as alluded to before, he genuinely cares! Bottom-line, that is what sold me on becoming a client, someone that cares for you and your health as much as you personally.

I began to feel the pain ease up after 2 weeks into my 3 month treatment plan, and after 3 months, I feel AMAZING! Better than any medical doctor - who initially gave me Vicodin vs actually fixing my pain. This team is awesome, genuine, and truly caring in your overall health and well-being. Highly recommend a visit to Dr Miller to see what ails you or before you get to that point (aka “preventive maintenance”). Out of 5 stars, I would give them a 10!

Experiencia negativa: I have multiple complaints about this chiropractic clinic. First let me start off by saying the staff were very friendly and nice but the adjustment I received by Dr. Drew was terrible. I went in with low back pain and Dr. Drew adjusted my neck which I didn’t want him to do. I explained I had herniated 2 disk in my neck from years back while talking to him and that I didn’t want my neck adjusted but he did anyways. I should have been more forceful about this but I really wasn’t aware of what he was doing until he popped my neck. He hardly touched my low back. Later on that night I had pain in my neck and tingling down my arm and I still have it. I’m honestly not happy that this is what I payed for and am going to have to go see a doctor now if this doesn’t go away. I’m also disappointed I was not offered a shield while receiving x-rays. You need to protect people better while performing x-rays. You also need to do a better job of protecting patient information as well. While Dr. Drew was showing me my x-rays he clicked off the screen with my x-rays and I saw what appeared to be a list of patient names. This is a major HIPAA violation. One more suggestion get doors on your rooms. I don’t want to be exposed to the public while I’m getting an adjustment. You guys should worry more about people’s privacy. You should give me my money back too. I had to have my neck scanned after that adjustment.

Experiencia negativa: I’ll start by saying this place does a fine job helping with lower back pain. No complaints there. Where I will complain and recommend people look for another chiropractor is in their billing practices, especially if you have insurance. At the end of each of my visits I paid $50. The appointment was then billed to my insurance company to count towards my deductible. What was never told to me was that they billed an additional $20 per visit for “stretching.” This is a way of saying you sat on an air cushion while you waited for your appointment. Insurance will obviously not pay this and I got stuck with the bill. In full transparency, after complaining they did drop the fee but not without telling me “this is common practice” and “had I not used my insurance the billing would be different.” I imagine that means that charge would not exist. Chiropractor friends I have in other states tell me that this is not common practice and is just an attempt to shakedown insurance companies for more money. If you’re going to use them I would say don’t use insurance or you’ll likely be stuck with the scam end of the bill. Better yet, don’t use them at all. Businesses that have shady practices should be avoided.
