Experiencia fantástica: My experience at the Sono Bello Consult Center was very good. Elizabeth was welcoming and pleasant despite the rather lengthy paperwork to be filled. It would be better to have that in advance. Shannon was competent and gracious. She explained the procedures and options. Note that the surgery is done in Raleigh. I do not have a reference for the pricing but it seemed about what I expected.

Experiencia fantástica: I arrived for my consultation yesterday. It was just a little confusing how to get into the building and into the right office but managed to do so without too much trouble. Once in the building, Elizabeth was very friendly and helpful, gave me all my forms to fill out. They now know me better than I do. It was a very brief wait but had my consultation with Angie, who was from the Raleigh office. She was very patient with my questions and even helped me ask questions that I didn't know to ask. She examined me and asked questions about my body image and goals. She offered recommendations and helped establish appropriate expectations with patient education--what kind of fat I had in my different areas, how gynecomastia works, how the procedures worked, etc. She typed and little of this and a little of that and gave me estimates for both the Charlotte and Raleigh locations (I guess each office has different promotions). I have almost a whole month to commit and plan ahead for time off from work and classes, to do more research, and pray to make the right decision. Whether I do or don't, I would highly recommend the visit for the consultation. Make a better list of questions than I did after doing your research. They are happy to answer your questions and make you feel comfortable. Very professional and kind! I highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled a consultation with Sono Bello, I was interested in their Lipo procedure due to quicker recovery time. I am getting married in October and have found it difficult to take the time off needed to recover from traditional plastic surgery. I met with Shannon on Friday morning for my consultation. Shannon was informative, caring, friendly, and helped put my mind at ease. After selecting my procedures, Shannon recommended I drive to Raleigh for my surgery because that surgeon is their best. I scheduled my pre-op and surgery date and paid my $14k for surgery. I did not realize we were waiting for the surgeon to confirm my dates since I recently quit vaping, I thought everything was confirmed since they had me pay for surgery. I left the Sono Bello office feeling happy and excited, I even started recommending them to friends. On Monday, I received a text message from Shannon informing me the surgeon would not perform surgery as scheduled because more time was needed since I recently quit vaping. I could still do the surgery, but needed to wait another 4 weeks, which would be 3 weeks before my wedding. As a solution, Shannon recommend their surgeon in Charlotte, who she’s already said is not their best but he requires less time between not vaping and surgery. The Charlotte surgeon Shannon recommended is a general surgeon who does not specialize in plastic surgery. After doing some research I did not want to move forward that’s when Shannon suggested a third surgeon who’s reviews were worse than the second surgeons. At that point I just wanted a refund. It’s my fault for not doing this before I originally booked my surgery, but I was caught up in how I wanted to look on my wedding day. After reading reviews not on Sono Bello’s website and through the BBB, I am horrified by the number of recent negative reviews from patients concerning botched surgeries. Numerous complaints on how difficult it’s been for many to have their problems fixed by Sono Bello, how patients are often ignored after surgery and are left to deal with disfigurements resulting from their procedures. I urge anyone considering Sono Bello to review the complaints filed with the BBB. I requested confirmation when the refund process was started. I’ve heard nothing but crickets from Sono Bello since I officially cancelled.

However, the approach of stressing that the procedure is very expensive was not warranted. I felt as though I was being judged as someone who couldn’t afford the service. I understand that this happens but I never expected this with such a reputable company like Sono Bello. I had many friends who were interested but upon hearing about my consultation are no longer interested like myself. A potential client should never be made to feel as though they have to prove themselves financially suitable because someone feels from their initial summation, this prospective client does not appear to have the means or have common knowledge that any type of cosmetic surgery is “expensive” without being advised immediately upon entering the consultation.

Experiencia negativa: I spent over $8,000 and was so excited because I thought I was actually going to kind of have my body that I had when I was younger it's now been 2 years since I had this procedure that sucked by the way I look exactly the same as I did in fact I probably have a little bit more rougher edges now because of the procedure I weigh exactly the same way 161 lb I am an active person and I do not eat terribly but I needed a little help losing some fat $8,000 worth I figured that would be enough clearly it wasn't and when I asked them for a refund they said no of course so I would like to challenge them if you're not going to give me a refund I would like to have another procedure maybe you can get it right the second time around cuz $8,000 is a lot of money
