My trainer Clif goes above and beyond just "training" by answering health questions, helping figure my macros and dietary needs, assists in setting and reaching goals, etc. He has been integral in my health journey.

Experiencia negativa: The gym is fine, but good luck dealing with their shady business practices. I tried to freeze my account temporarily and was retroactively charged for the month I didn't use. Including a late fee. Out of pocket almost $50 now 2 weeks before Christmas and I wasn't even ready to resume my membership. Customer support rep offered no help. You are also unable to view or make changes to your account online, you have to call. This practice will actually be considered illegal in 2025 because you can sign up entirely online.

Experiencia fantástica: For years, I was a member of that well-known gym with the lunk alarm, but because of their culture, I didn't feel like I could be myself. 10 Fitness does a great job of not excluding a "type" of person. It's well priced with convenient hours, but it also has a welcoming culture that includes beginners and us, serious fitness freaks.

I enjoy the Maumelle location it’s close to the house and always accessible. The rodney parham location was home for a long time and I still go there every once in a while. Best gym ever.

Experiencia fantástica: I have Jim as a personal trainer once a week to ensure I do not overexert myself. He is interested in addressing areas of development I see as necessary and suggests other exercises to supplement that. There is a wide selection of equipment to choose from including cables, bands, machines and free weights. Cannot think of anything missing that would be needed. The other trainers are also personable, professional, genuine and capable trainers/people. It is a great environment tvto workout!! Enough equipment to allow different selections for each muscle group. Equipment is well maintained. Trainers are very knowledgeable on body and exercises that fit the needs and goals of the clients. Trainers and management are also approachable, professional, considerate to needs of clients and easy to talk with about your specific goals. This behavior continues with consistency and professional approach. The clientele is also very nice. 10 month update: There are sufficient equipment, weights, bands, etc to build and strengthen any muscle group. The trainers are professional and have the knowledge to bring you toward completion of your goals. They are focused on you when in a training session and are willing to correct your form to ensure no injuries occur. The people and management greet and accept you as you enter and leave. They are polite, kind and warm towards you. 10 Fitness is a great place to come and work out.

Missing the childcare that they offered before COVID, that would honestly be a game changer for my wife and I. The men’s locker room could REALLY use a second toilet tbh. I was equally impressed with the 10 Fitness app. I’ve tried various fitness apps with fewer features that cost as much as the cost as the 10 Fitness membership. 24/7 access and an abundance of equipment and machines makes 10 Fitness a no brainer for the novice or professional athlete alike.

It's a smaller building so the machines are much closer together and I had to do more waiting for machines to become available but they still have everything you need to workout. I love how their main cardio area is upstairs so you can overlook the gym while you workout. Also, I was blown away at how nice the locker room was and was jealous the one at my home gym didn't look like that. lol

Experiencia negativa: Nice gym don’t get me wrong. I pay for a premium membership so I can take a +1 with me, but the only time I usually ever have to work out it after 9pm, after staff hours. This gets me charged 8 dollars anytime I do so, since staff isn’t there after that time. So if you’re wanting to take a friend or sibling to workout with you after 9pm, or possibly even early in the morning before staff arrives, I recommend you find a different gym. Really frustrating. I probably won’t be there much longer, there are better options out there.

My Trainer Will Davidson is the best trainer I have ever worked with! 10 Fitness has proved to me, that they diligently pick quality over quantity, and will have my business for many years.

Experiencia negativa: I used to really like this location until recently. They closed off almost all of the free weights, including the bumper plates to the exclusive use of premium members only. I'm a premium member, and have to cart plates outside of the premium room when the ONE deadlift platform is in use. I just left from being hounded by staff about my use of bumper plates outside of the premium members room.. Seriously? Why does it matter if non premium members can access the Olympic bar and plates I left. The loaded bar was not in anyone's way at all and it simply had one 10 lb plate on either side. One member of staff hit on me and gave me his number a few months ago, I politely declined and now wonder if this new strictness is in light of my decision to decline his advances. Goodbye 10, it's been real. Esporta here i come. Response to owner: your assertion about members who do not "pay for certain amenities" and that I somehow violated some imagined gym etiquette is silly. Olympic barbells and plates are made available to all members..just not bumper plates. So, what you're saying is certain members pay for access to those specific type of plates and my leaving TWO ten lb bumper plates in the non-premium room disrupts that? No, that's absurd. Almost every person I saw work out at 10 does not re-rack weights or clean equipment after use. I did, diligently. Also, don't ask women to report things to feel more comfortable in your gym space, train your employees better i.e. to not harass women. Glad you don't "condone" a staff member hitting on members, an actual, sincere apology would've been appreciated. A gym is a safe space, a home away from home, I terminated my membership because of this occurrence fyi.

She made us feel very comfortable, she didn't push us at all for the first time and eased us Into the routine. She gave tips on eating right, and even said that if we fall off it's not the end, just get back on the healthy eating again. Super sweet lady and we will continue to workout there.

Experiencia negativa: First of all, I will say that this used to be a great gym. That is not the case anymore... BEWARE: No free weights available for new members unless you pay for a "premium" membership. They are locked up in a separate room until you scan for access. No squat racks. No deadlift platforms. No barbells (even the small ones on the rack). No plate loaded press machines. No multi-use cable station. For basic members, there is simply one rack of dumbbells (maxed out at 50 lbs) and two Smith Machines available. AVOID AVOID AVOID IF YOU PRIMARILY STRENGTH TRAIN. Why did they lock up the rest of the free weights? Because of "overcrowding" and "intimidation". 10 Fitness has officially adopted the Planet Fitness mindset. They refuse to purchase more squat racks or deadlift platforms despite the high demand. Their solution to intimidation is to hide weights from sight and charge members a penalty fee for using BASIC EQUIPMENT. Instead of making an effort to market the free weights in a more welcoming way, or enforce gym rules and dress code, they take away the option altogether. Gyms are no longer made for your health. Now they are made for comfort. Shame on the owners of this gym! REPLY TO OWNERS 8/27: The fact remains that new members have NO ACCESS to free weights unless they pay a premium. Smith machines and hack squat machines are not equivalent to a free weight barbell and rack. No other gym in the world makes you pay an extra fee for basic equipment like squat racks, bench press racks, and deadlift platforms. "Grandfathering in" existing members does not excuse this idiotic policy. You are not meeting demand. You are not creating a more welcoming atmosphere. And you are making overcrowding worse by cramming everyone into the now SMALLER free weights area.

Basic you can come in a work out with cardio and weight machines...larger free weights is premium....They have lighter dumbbells' for free members, hope 2 people don't want to lift the 20 lbs at the same time, there is only one of each weight set. If you are premium you can bring a guest, that's fun right...expect they can only do basic membership workout so they can't lift that heavy weight with you or do a class. If you friend is fine with the basic, they better only come in the daytime though, they are not staffed at night and guest needs to check in with a waiver, so your 24 hour visit isn't as 24 hour as you thought. If you are a loner that works out odd hours then I recommend 10 fitness, if you work out normal hours I would choose planet fitness...more locations nationwide and cleaner establishment. Edit after response from owner,. To clarify misunderstandings I showed up the next day (before my post) to the front desk asking if the they planned on adding a kiosk for liability waivers, they were unaware of any plans for kiosk, they claimed they were asking for it for awhile. So if it is true you are trying to get kiosk in the other branches you should probably let them know and in the meantime, even having a physical paper form for people to sign at the front desk would be cheap quick way of fixing the problem. My gym is moving all the heavier and free weight into a large room and saying with a sign it's for premium members only. It's new so it isn't explicitly mentioned in the terms, but you did mention guests can attend classes which is against the terms in the contract. Allow me to quote from the terms members must sign to...Guests may not use tanning beds, massage chairs, kids club, group exercise or personal training. I thought the classes were group exercise so not cool your posting false information about guest perks. Finally about PF having cleaner gyms, you would this hope this isn't true. If you goto 10 fitness that has been there for years, there are no new cleaning stations added since covid, other than random announcement over the loud speaker you cannot tell covid is active. The PF sites have a cleaning station always with 20 feet from you. Cardio machines now have plastic barriers between machines to protect guests, but please don't just hope or trust my words, visit a planet fitness and a 10 fitness back to back, it's good to check out your invading competition.

Even without covid, it's gross and I don't want to touch the sweat of someone else when going to a machine. Other than that, everyone is really nice and it's never too busy!

Experiencia fantástica: First, I apologize to Ryan and Henle for the late review. You two provided outstanding customer service on the vigil of Thanksgiving. I have a long-term history with 10 Fitness prior to moving from Little Rock. I was a member of Bowman Fitness when Eric and his business partner to convert the business into something more unique, which is that of 10 Fitness. I attended it for several years simultaneous to a boxing gym for its overall excellent quality. Luck of the draw and while I was in town visiting family for Thanksgiving, traffic led me to missing the 430 S exit from Cantrell and taking N instead. It was my initial intention to attend the (also awesome) Rodney Parham gym. Wow; what a great location they have in Maumelle as well. Henle was a kind greeter and very reciprocative to my speech about my history. He provided a walk-through of the gym and was open to any further questions. During the time, Ryan acknowledged and provided affirmation. I couldn't have felt more welcome at a gym, and upon near-exit he inquired if all was well. Thank you both! Have a Happy New Year!

He’s excellent at PT, especially working with injuries. I hurt my foot/ankle and he’s working with me to keep me trained in ways that I can and is helping me to get back to the level 10 classes. Clean facility and friendly employees. Ryan, Chase, & Henle specifically. Henle remembers names like I’ve never seen before and welcomes each member by name.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with 10 Fitness-Maumelle has been and continues to be perfect. Convenience at its finest. I train here about 5 times a week and its always kept clean. Disinfecting spray stations are provided all over the facility for wiping down equipment before and after workout. Brandi and Chase are SUPER nice! I look forward to seeing them when coming in. Id highly recommend if looking for a gym in the Maumelle area.

Experiencia fantástica: I honestly cannot find the complaints from the other people who posted. Nice gym. Solid staff. Other gym members are nice too. Positive place. People respect each other and are considerate. 4.9 out of 5. Only thing I have to say is the water pressure on the water fountains is a little weak so bring a water bottle.

Experiencia negativa: Overall it's pretty clean. They have a lot of free weight weight machines for the size, but only have 5 barbells at the moment total and only 3 of them are straight. It doesn't do much good if there's 2 squat racks, 3 bench racks, an incline bench rack, and a deadlift platform. Some of their weights aren't as advertised. I picked up 2 7.5 lbs weights, and one weighed significantly more.
