Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I found Atlas Chiropractic after moving to the area. I was having significant lower back issues from throwing my back out a couple times. I also was having constant TMJ related pain. Dr. Hamer created a treatment plan for me, and over the next couple months my issues drastically improved and daily pain went away! In addition to the chiropractic adjustments, I was given exercises and stretches to do each week, which helped strengthen muscles in a necessary way to help with my lower back. I worked a 95 hour work week a couple months into my treatment plan, and amazingly I had no back pain or issues. In the past, my 60 hour work weeks would have caused pain, and the long hours sitting are what lead to lower back issues in the first place. The fact that I could work 95 hours with no pain is testament to how effective the treatment was. I had dealt with TMJ issues for years, and I’m so glad I sought chiropractic care before turning to a major invasive solution. My TMJ pain went from significant daily pain to rare occurrences. Rather than needing surgery or to get braces again, the chiropractic care I received at Atlas brought immense relief. My husband saw Dr. Guin, the other chiro at the practice, and also had great success helping his knee issues as a runner. I highly recommend Atlas. It’s hard finding a chiropractor that addresses the root cause of pain and spends time with you each visit rather than just performing the same quick adjustment without much thought. The exercises and stretches also helped tremendously, which is another unique aspect of Atlas. Both doctor at Atlas are fantastic, and the whole team is great! They are truly committed to helping their clients find freedom from pain and lasting wellness.

I knew absolutely no one and I was in search of a chiropractor…after reading some online reviews, I decided to try Dr. Hammer with Atlas Chiropractic. From my very first visit, I knew I had found my preferred chiropractor in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by his incredibly pleasant front desk staff. From there, the experience is only elevated…his assistants are extremely caring and take the time to really get to know you and understand the pain you are going through. As you progress through your treatment plan, the assistants educate and teach you about the long term benefits of frequent stretching. They would show me the same stretch over and over again until I was able to do it properly without ever making me feel rushed or losing their patience. The stretching was followed with an adjustment by Dr. Hammer…from the moment you meet him you can tell how kind, caring and passionate he is about his career and helping people get out of pain. He listens to what you have to say and will modify his adjustments to target your areas of pain. His wife also works at the clinic and is such a pleasant, kind and caring person to interact with as well. All in all, this is a caring, compassionate family run business and you can feel that from the moment you meet the front desk staff, interact with the chiropractic assistants and then receive your adjustment from Dr. Hammer. It freaked me out so bad I looked up the nearest chiropractor and was at the front door of Atlas Chiropractic in uptown when they opened that morning. They saw me right away, understood the pain I was in, and made/explained a treatment plan to make me well and better than before. I was worried about affording it and it turned out to be a steal. Everytime I go in they know who I am and are so kind. I now have finished my treatment and feel better than I thought was possible. I continue going for maintenance adjustments and look forward to seeing the staff each time. I didnt really believe in paying for treatment plans before and I am SO HAPPY that I did. 10/10 recommend and I think everyone even with a little discomfort should just get ahead of it and reach out to atlas

Experiencia negativa: My initial review was good things because it felt like they actually cared here. That was last year in September. I had personal issues that kept me from completing my treatment plan last year in September so I didn’t complete it. Fast forward to yesterday July 2023, i requested same day appointment due to severe back pain. The doctor never once asked what brought me in; instead, he blabbed about how i was not in compliance due to me not completing a treatment plan from a year ago and how he chose not to report it to my insurance company. Very unprofessional & disturbing. What did last year have to do with this year? How did you just assume i was there for the same reason I was there a year ago?? I even called my doctor and she said that the insurance claims he made were false and it was unprofessional to ignore what i was there for and to bring up something from a year ago. I used to recommend people to come here but not anymore.

Experiencia negativa: I did not have a good experience here 1. Told me several things about my treatment plan, its requirements, and what is covered by insurance. Often the story would change. When they started to sound strange and too pushy, I called insurance to ask. They said everything I was told was false. Atlas chiropractic was charging me out of pocket for things that insurance would have covered, and Atlas was putting requirements on my treatment plan that were nonexistent. 2. Very unprofessional- told me several times not to go to a medical doctor to get a cortisone shot for my pain. Told me so many times and even called me once after hours to tell me. Made me uncomfortable. Kept telling me the doctor was setting me up for the knife. In addition, my pain did not improve.

Experiencia positiva: The best chiropractic place, I recommend it to anyone who has pain in their body. That was what I thought until the 6th time I came back after a week because I went out of town. When I returned I was surprised to see the chiropractic doctor with a certain degree of anger that he could not hide. He asked me why he had not returned that week because the insurance does not recognize payments if the therapies are not constant. I explained to him that I had to be absent but when I gave myself the therapies he did it quite abruptly. In the end I left there with pain in my neck and the pain got much worse, I had to go to another doctor and have several therapies after that. This was a bad experience, I never thought this would happen from a person like him. very bad!!!

I realized that I needed help to correct that and to prevent any long-term issues resulting from that crash. I initially chose Atlas Chiropractic due to its close proximity to my office and high ratings, and I am so happy that I did. Dr. Hamer and his entire staff are kind and compassionate and were extra patient with educating me about their process. They put together a thorough treatment plan for my neck and lower back pain, which included but was not limited to chiropractic adjustment, electrical muscle stimulation, myofascial massage, and therapeutic exercises (variations of which they taught me to implement at home). It's been a month and a half, and I feel good as new. I was a chiropractic novice and skeptic, but now wholeheartedly recommend Atlas Chiropractic to anyone seeking pain treatment or preventative care.

He spends time to make sure you get the attention you need for your issues. I’m a regular client and also have orthopedic inserts from him, as a hairstylist standing all day, I need all the help I can get to stay healthy. I have sent several first time patients that were uncomfortable going to a chiropractor and they were so pleased with the results.

He went over my X-Rays in detail making sure I completely understood what was causing the pain and what treatment would be necessary. We put a treatment plan together to get my spine properly aligned and then to maintain proper adjusting monthly. The Atlas staff is very friendly and accommodating on appointment times and scheduling.

I had sciatica pain for over 4 years and couldn't walk a block without it stopping me. After the first adjustment, I was able to walk my entire neighbourhood of 5 blocks without pain!
