The first was for back pain I developed from my WFH situation in 2020 and I felt better after only a few treatments but kept going for a year then stopped. So when I recently developed severe headaches diagnosed as occipital neuralgia I immediately thought of Complete Wellness and I have not been disappointed. In a short time my symptoms improved greatly. I could not be happier. Complete Wellness is truly a life saver.

I am home Bed-bound and taking physical therapy, but it hurts so much because of my pains in my hip and back, spent most of the time crying while doing my therapy. I called so many places to get help and was very disappointed no one would help. One evening i came across complete wellness' website and I decided to send an email explaing my issues,15 minutes later wonderful Ben called me, thank you Ben. 5 days later, doctor Mayrsohn came to my home. I came in with some pain and discomfort in my leg from a sciatica episode and Manny was amazing working on my whole body with a focus on improving the tension on my leg. Most recently, they hired a new therapist - Ms.Paz Loes and she has been heaven sent, considering that I have had Parkinson's diseases for the last 15 years. Paz has worked with people with Parkinson(PWP) and knows exactly what therapy to apply to every individual with PD. I have noticed considerably improvement in my Gait, balance and flexibility since I started working with her. It beats taking any Meds. I highly recommend her to be your therapist , she is very cordial , efficient and above all very understanding and caring.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a pretty active senior woman who was diagnosed with knee Osteoarthritis 6 years ago. While painful but not advanced enough for knee replacement surgery, I was initially given Monovisc knee injections which I successfully used for 2.5 years for a year in between injections with no need for physical therapy. However with aging and my osteoarthritis progressing, I was switched to Orthovisc injections every 6 months and for the past year even with my knee injections, walking, sitting and going up and down stairs was still painful. My knee arthritis is still not advanced enough for knee replacement surgery so I was advised to go for physical therapy to help with pain management and strength training. During my online search I found "Complete Wellness NYC", and based on the professionalism, courtesy, patient and informative initial conversation I had with one of their consultants I made an appointment to come in to see their space and meet the staff. I am so glad I chose Complete Wellness NYC for my physical therapy and wellness needs. Dr. Fenster and his support staff are an amazing group of professionals. Since August 2023, I started my twice a week sessions with physical therapists, Tommy, Gina, and Martin, and not only has there been great improvement with my knee mobility, but I have been educated on the mechanisms of my body so that even with the conditions of aging I have learned how to extend my knee and leg functions. In closing, It is very nice to come to a professional space and be remembered, acknowledged, and treated well by professional yet very caring people you are working out with during painful and sometimes uncomfortable physical limitations. I would highly and happily recommend Complete Wellness NYC to anyone. In fact I have even convinced my unwilling husband to come for his physical therapy after his knee injections are completed.

I’ve had mixed results with many chiropractors over the years, and these guys are the best. Before surgery, I wanted to make sure I tried every and all other treatments. I thought I did all my research and did everything possible. But just to make sure, i did one more search. There I found Dr. Melnick and Dr.Sabrina and I went to all the top of the top before but no one mentioned this. They solved my chronic low back pain. I cannot say enough how amazing this practice is. They TRULY have your best interest at heart.Great team, warm welcome, the practice is very well equipped and the chiropractor Dr. Melnick is so knowledgeable, a great listener and from the first visit, I have started to see so much improvement and relief. She is also really easy to talk to, and her staff, to communicate with. I've never felt rushed, dismissed or confused about what she is doing or why. She explains everything and doesn't rush through your session, (something I've experienced at other practices.) Everyone in the office is welcoming and friendly, especially the receptionist in the front! For all of these reasons, I don't mind the commute into the city and I look forward to my visits. P.S. Experiencia fantástica: REVIEW OF COMPLETE WELLNESS NYC I am a 72 year old woman who has been suffering from increasingly worsening shoulder and neck pain for almost ten years. I have seen at least six chiropractors, numerous massage therapists, acupuncturists and medical doctors both in New Jersey, in the Bay Area and now in San Diego where I currently reside, but to no avail. Six years ago I was advised by my primary doctor to see a shoulder specialist. I was shocked and dismayed to hear that I had bone spurs and no more cartilage. The arthritis would continue to cause pain and would only worsen. Although steroid shots could help temporarily ( have had 4), I would be a great candidate for double shoulder replacement. I got a second opinion from a famous surgeon who set me up with a date for surgery. Medicare covered all my X-rays and would cover all costs including rehab, which would be lengthy. Then covid hit and I became the main caregiver for my toddler grandson. I could continue to help my children navigate finding and paying for childcare, or tough it out and have the endorphins my Grandson provided me every day carry me through. I chose to delay surgery and sought out massage and chiropractic help instead. Five years later, as my grandson turns seven and wants me to play active ball games with him, I am still looking for relief and an alternate route to surgery. So a trip to NYC this August to see and dance to my favorite band at MSG seemed like a Hail Mary opportunity to find another opinion. Thankfully, I was referred to Dr Fenster and Complete Wellness!! Having completely changed my diet in an effort to reduce inflammation, their whole person integrated approach really resonated. The key office assistant, Ben Fenster, helped to squeeze me into Dr. Fenster’s busy schedule twice that week. The Dr. was totally present and patient during my intake and by the end of each session I shed tears of relief and gratitude. This dedicated, highly experienced and intuitive healer restored my hope of finding a less invasive approach to my pain. I bought his book “Free Your Fascia” and was thrilled to learn more about why his techniques were so helpful for me. Dr. Fenster includes exercises and recipes to use at home-a great bonus! I only wish I were a New Yorker and could see him twice a week for several months! I asked Ben to schedule me for two sessions with another well known doctor on their team, Thomas Edgehouse, DPT. Tommy was unlike any other PT I had seen. In a short time, I was confident that he totally understood my unique condition and needs. He was incredibly skillful using massage and stretches and I felt immediate results. I danced for joy at the concerts both nights! Tommy helped me to master many exercises to do in his lovely, well equipped therapy room, and has kindly emailed me explicit instructions so I can continue to do them at home. To top off my Complete Wellness experience, I also was fortunate to do a session with the calm, gentle and highly skilled acupuncturist, Dr. Sabrina Jhorna. Icing on the cake! I cannot close my review without complementing the entire support staff who all made me feel welcome and at ease. Emily Anderson even gave me subway directions and assured me that I should still come even when I took the subway in the wrong direction! Liz Raigan has been a perfect and timely communicator on email. I wish I knew more names, but everyone had a smile and took the time to answer all my questions. Dr. Fenster and his wife, Jan, who specializes in yoga therapy, are marvelous professionals and unique and amazing individuals - more like wellness heroes or gurus - and their qualities can be felt throughout the facility. The atmosphere is one of professionalism, dedication, kindness and respect. The approach is holistic and insightful and intelligent. I currently see Tommy and Gina for PT. They are incomparable professionals and some of the loveliest people you could ever meet. Complete Wellness is a bright spot and has enriched my life and I am sure that of many other patients. Obviously I can’t say enough good things and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Experiencia fantástica: Going to Complete Wellness has been been a life-changing experience, both for my immediate pain relief and my long term health. I had been to other chiropractors before for my chronic back pain, but they just did the same few techniques every visit to temporarily relieve the pain, leading to me to come back every few weeks with no real improvement. At Complete Wellness, they started right off the bat with an evaluation to understand the root of my pain, including X-rays, which is how I learned for the first time I had scoliosis. From then, they made me a personalized wellness plan including chiropractic, physical therapy, and acupuncture. Over the last few months, I have felt actual progress in my pain management and overall well-being. The providers even give me “homework”, such as stretches and workouts to try at home so I don’t have to always rely on them to manage my pain. On top of all this, the entire staff, from the providers to the receptionists, are very friendly and truly care about their patients. They are all very personable and make me feel as comfortable as I can be at a healthcare office. I cannot recommend them enough, and even on my days off and not working in the city, they are worth the trip from my home in Queens.

Experiencia fantástica: I have a herniated disc and am about to have a microdiscectomy. Dr. Fenster and his team are an exceptional group of people . I have only had 3 sessions with them so far but you get the sense that they are not your run-of-the-mill therapy center. Their holistic approach to physical therapy, chiro, blended with Eastern medicine is something that I have never tried before but feels like the right course of treatment for my body. They have been getting me ready for surgery and I feel great. Highly recommended.

Her holistic approach to understanding my circumstances was unlike any medical visit I've had before. She not only examined my medical history, but also took time to understand other factors in my life that may be impacting my wellbeing like stress, relationships, etc. Her empathetic demeanor provided a relaxed environment where I felt comfortable opening up about anything and everything. This experience felt like therapy and a doctor's visit wrapped up into one. Bravo Danielle! I look forward to coming back.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE!! I was 32 weeks pregnant and went here to try physical therapy as I was experiencing some pelvic pain. My first appointment I saw Dr. Fenster who offered to do some chiropractor work on me (knowing I was 32 weeks pregnant). During the appointment he pushed extremely hard on the back my leg and as I left the appointment my water broke. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and my baby had to go to the NICU. I later found out there are pressure points in the back of your leg that should absolutely not be touched during pregnancy, especially not hard!!! A trained professional should have never done that! If you are pregnant I highly recommend to stay away from here. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way :(
