I have to brag on all the staff here as they are so kind and always very understanding of specific needs as it relates to their patients, but they treat us more than just as a patient they treat us as family and that means more than words could ever express or explain. I really enjoy being treated locally! My partner and I have both had positive experiences, him at the hospital and me at Granville Primary Care. Dr. Thomas is lovely, and I always feel that I'm being given the time and appropriate care to have my medical needs met.

Most of my experience was with bigger hospital systems like Duke, Wakemed, UNC, or ECU, but I can say that this hospital was better than all of them. The doctors are kind and knowledgeable. The nurses are top tier and smiling. The food is amazing. Everyone was accommodating and had a smile on their face. This hospital deserves an award. Thank you to all the staff at Granville Medical Center.

In the past I had an issue with a Provider standing at the door when I was there and without even doing an exam said I was fine. Then tried to bill my insurance for a 45 exam!!! Goodbye we are done

The nurse did the preliminary work up first and my physician, Dr. Hobdy, came right into the exam room along with a Nurse Practicioner. Dr. Hobdy is the most efficient physician I have ever seen in all my years at Granville Med and before the Granville Med and even Granville Hospital. From the front desk to the waiting room to a final exit from the lab everyone is courteous and kind. It is always nice to see the same folks making a difference in our lives and most being easily recognized at work and in the community.

I don't know if the doctor was having a bad day or what but I felt uncomfortable with his line of questions concerning my pain management doctor and the medication she put me on. I realize some people can get addicted to pain meds but I don't intend to be one. I am 66 years old and I know better about what to take and not to take. I follow directions. Thank you.

Then I arrive for my test and wait 30 minutes only to be told rudely that I had the appointment wrong. They changed the time and blamed me. Worst service ever and I will never go to this facility ever again. It should be closed and how sad is that!!

She also answered all my questions and concerns. She is so sweet and I would highly recommend her to new patients. Her nurse Kelly is also very sweet and efficient. The staff that works here are very kind!!

They always give my concerns the attention I think they deserve (and I come in with many!) The way that K. Richardson has supported me through a number of serious illnesses is well beyond expectations. Even when she's not the care provider for the issue, she oversees and gives me important care and input. My family members go here, and love them as much as I do. I recommend!
