Experiencia negativa: I like my provider but I'm having a hard time with this medical office. Several times I have gone back and forth trying to get prescriptions resolved and questions answered. I appreciate that it takes time to respond, I also work in the medical field and understand the high volume of requests that come in. However, when I have to call 3 separate times to correct a prescription or call 15 days after a request was messaged through the portal because I haven't heard back, it is not meeting my expectations as a customer. Ultimately this is a business, please clean up your workflow to serve your customers in a more concise and timely manner.

Experiencia positiva: First let me say that Holly and Dr. Rigby have been fantastic to work with. They are patient, thorough, and detailed, and I've never had a negative interaction with either of them. The experience with staff has been frustrating at times though. When you call the main number you get a central messaging service with Ogden Clinic and I'm never sure if my messages are actually reaching Holly. This was confirmed when I visited in person with Holly. I mentioned that I hadn't received a response to my message on the portal. She looked it up and said my message had indeed been assigned to someone else. This caused a week-long delay in my medication refill. A week after that same appointment I got a message (through the portal) saying my medication refill had been faxed to the pharmacy in Arizona. I'd expect a 24-48 hour delay, but to wait a week before the doctor's staff faxed the prescription—that seems like a long time, especially when I had already been without medications for a week. When I was visiting with Holly, she showed me the note that had been left in the portal. Staff wrote, "this person really isn't patient." Maybe it seemed that way, but I am generally a patient person. I just get frustrated when intra-office communication isn't good and I'm waiting unnecessarily (for more than a week) as a result. Notwithstanding the frustrations, the staff have been pleasant in all face-to-face interactions. I don't know what the problems are, whether training is needed, or someone needs to fine-tune problems with communication via the patient portal, but when these problems are addressed, Ogden Clinic/Medical Weight Loss will achieve even better results and patients—instead of being blamed for problems—will consistently feel like their care is a priority. This is meant to be positive and constructive feedback, because my belief is that if Holly and Dr. Rigby were aware of the impact of these problems, they would have been addressed already.

Experiencia negativa: I'll start by saying, I love ogden clinic as a whole. That being said, my experience here was less than stellar. I brought my daughter in, and a lot of bloodwork was done. However, a number of things came back abnormal and no one ever called to follow up. My daughter was told to do keto, which is a fad diet. She ended up putting on more weight. The nutritionist simply emailed me linkes to websites I already use for meal ideas. I would have thought a more sustainable diet such as the Mediterranean diet would have been recommended. The website advertised a team approach and I didn't feel like we had a team. When I disgusted my disappointment in being told to follow a fad diet we were told we could do whatever we wanted, but we wouldn't be there of that approach was working. I thought there would be structure and accountability for her, but after 2 visits I was so unimpressed we left. I did the 2 stars, because they did at least do the bloodwork.

Experiencia negativa: I waited 4 months for this apt I was 15 min. Early I am not a tech savvy person and didn't bring paperwork with wanted to fill out in person? The receptionist was rude and told me she would have to ask in back on her way to the back she asked other receptionist if they were still running late he said yes, she walked back not even 2 min and said nope we can't see you? I Said it will take me 5 min to do paperwork I was 15 min early at this point and she was rude and said no sorry? She deleted all my information out of the computer system when I tried to call for another appt. They were running late and I was early but I couldn't fill out paperwork? This is terrible business practice and rude dismissive staff

Experiencia fantástica: Holly wright and Heather Roberts are amazing! They take the time out for their patients and help them achieve their goals. I’ve been to so many clinics and this is by far the best one to go to!

Experiencia negativa: I was referred to Dr. Rigby, told I need my intake paperwork done BEFORE the appointment and arrive on time or they will cancel the appointment and charge me $50.00. I was on time for my appointment with my paperwork COMPLETED. The nurse took me back and did the weight scale portion then took me to the exam room where I sat for OVER AN HOUR waiting for Dr. Rigby. I went out to use the restroom and see if the doctor was ever going to get to me. The nurse said he was on a call and would be available in about 10 minutes. I had also been fasting for now almost 13 hours as they told me to fast before my appointment. When he finally came in we talked about the results from the weight scan, prescribed some medications, ordered blood work, and the appointment was done. There was no need to fast. Now to today March 14th, again after multiple texts and emails to be on time or cancel with at least 48 hours prior notice or I would be charged a $50.00 fee, I was texted early in the morning to be offered the chance to do the appointment via televisit to which I accepted. They called and got my co-pay really quickly but I sat in the televisit screen for over an hour and 15 minutes. I sent messages asking when Dr. Rigby would be available to no reply, just the screen saying "Dr. Rigby is available and will be on the call soon". This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. I know a Dr's time is important but so are the patients!!! If the Dr cannot work appointments timely then he needs to have his appointments scheduled out better to have enough time between and for each patient!!! I ended up hanging up and calling the receptionist to notify I am canceling today's appointment and WILL NOT pay the $50.00 cancelation fee as I was on time but the doctor wasn't. I have rescheduled ALL my appointments with a different doctor. I either want the co-pay I made today back or credited toward my next appointment. This has been an UNACCEPTABLE experience, if you are gonna repeat over and over to be on time or be charged a late/cancelation fee, then the same should be applied to the doctor. One time making your patient wait that long, especially without updates unless the patient asks is bad enough, but twice in a row is the limit. I am thoroughly DISGUSTED and will never recommend Dr. Rigby to anyone!!!

Experiencia negativa: If you’re looking for someone to tell you what you already know (eat healthy foods and exercise), then this place is for you. If you were hoping for something more, then keep looking.

Experiencia positiva: I've been going to this clinic for awhile now and have really liked all the docs and PAs. They did have a lot of turnover with PAs for awhile hopefully that has calmed down. I see Heather Roberts she listens great and has really been helpful about the hormone process of weight loss. My biggest complaint about this office is posted all over is signs about treating the staff with respect. Which I work in Healthcare I couldn't agree more. But the front desk barely greets you or looks up from their phone or computers. Only thing they do show any enthusiasm for is getting your copay. I asked if PA Roberts was timely and he didn't even bother responding. The docs and PAs are wonderful but front desk needs some serious customer service training. How about practicing what they preach? Treat the patients human. If my PA leaves again I'm going elsewhere. There's other options. Rude disinterested front desk.

Experiencia positiva: The first visit with Heather went great, but the value soon disappeared. I was surprised how well they listen, how many options they consider letting patients choose their path while also being candid about potential issues, as well as their respect and creativity to help stay within my self-pay budget, etc. On my second visit I did not feel anything important was done or discussed, and the clinic raised the monthly compounded semaglutide price they offered with a partner pharmacy an increase of $115 over their previous price. Clinics have their own favorite compounding pharmacies (which have their own fees) and sometimes charge markups. This seemed like a big markup. That's when I started shopping around and found a provider that was even cheaper than what I was paying before the markup. Now, elsewhere, I pay under $300 a month including the average cost of doctor visits, fees, and semaglutide.

Experiencia positiva: Nice people and all but after all the blood work, appointments and everything they simply told me to just cut out all carbs, which feels impossible to me. I tried hard for a few months then just got frustrated and gave up. Haven’t lost the weight.

For years have been told that my thyroid and hormone levels are normal. Dr. Rigby has done an extensive work up and I have found that my thyroid and hormone levels are non- existent. He is helping my body to start to function again. For the first time in years I have hope and am starting to have the energy that I desire. If you are frustrated about not being able to lose weight. I highly recommend Dr. Rigby and his office staff.

He found issues with my bloodwork that had been overlooked by my primary care physician just 2 months ago. It also helped that he understands my Keto/ Carnivore lifestyle and way of eating and was able to answer my specific questions. I am looking forward to working with him on an on-going basis.

Levels on some things are improving others needed adjustments. That's what I like about Dr. Rigby he pays attention to what I'm saying about what I'm feeling to get me going in the right way. My blood test confirm that the way I've been feeling right. So he adjusted my medication accordingly.

In fact during my time seeing Dr. Rigby I have lost in excess of 155 pounds. I am getting closer to the objective to reduce my BMI below 45. When I left, I was a little confused on what I should do next, but this appt must have been a consultation. Dr Rigby was very very nice, a good listener, and he educated me on things that I didn't know and some stuff I did know. He had looked over my questionnaire I filled out at home and asked me questions relevant to my answers I had written. Since my daughter in law was with me, he included her in the conversation. I have been on a low carb, high protein diet for about six months and needed reassurance that everything was in order and if I should continue losing as I have been. Between my age and some long term health problems, I wanted to be sure. He ordered blood work beyond what is usually checked and I will see him in a few weeks to find the results in person. He is very knowledgable about weight problems and has various programs and helps to get a patient well onto a healthier lifestyle. Looking forward to my next visit!

He came in with many marks on the paperwork no had filled out and he remembered everything he had read on my file, I knew he had just read it all before comming in and that's why he knew exactly what was wrong. I am grateful I heard about this program, I did not know such thing was in existence. I am grateful for all the educational paperwork they gave me and they willingness to be just one phone call away. Totally worth it, totally recommend it.

Experiencia negativa: I was not happy with the bedside manner. The Dr was rude and didn't listen to my wishes. He wanted me to do the more expensive option of physical therapy first and then if that didn't work he would try the cortisone shot that was the cheaper option. He told me that the reason was because what I had been doing wasn't working so if he did the shot I would just be in his office later saying it didnt work because I needed to strengthen the wrist. My way wasn't working earlier because I wasn't doing anything. I wasn't doing anything because I was afraid of injuring it further. Now that I know it is just stiff muscles I have not had the brace on and I am doing normal tasks trying to loosen up the muscles on my own. I will not spend $200 to $400 dollars on therapy. I just wish I could be doing it with a little less pain but the doctor thought he knew me so now I have pain. He did not. My wrist is already doing a little better but it has not been without pain because of him. I do not want to see this doctor again. I will not reccomend him. I wish I didn't have to pay $50 to find out I will be in pain until I can get the muscles to loosen.

I have lost 38 pounds so far and have felt they’ve done a good job helping me to keep to my weight-loss goals, giving me encouragement and advice, and checking my stats as time has gone by.

Experiencia negativa: Truly I have ignored this message asking me to rate because it is not positive. The flood of emails and texts to rate keep coming however. I tried to reschedule. I called a minimum of 7 times a day for two days to reach someone because I didn't want to lost my $50 deposit. I was never able to connect, the option to press 3 to leave a voice mail did not work. I responded to the email I got with my original paperwork, no response. I went to the website and selected the "contact us" and sent a message, by this time I was very very agitated and still no response. I did, however, continue to get appointment reminder text messages that said I couldn't reschedule by replying to that. Finally, on a Sunday morning, (my appointment was the following Monday) I got a call, again on a Sunday morning when I had started trying to contact this facility the previous Monday, to remind me of the appointment. By this time I was livid. The individual on the phone was nice, she rescheduled the appointment, then after that I got an email, over a week later from the start of this debacle, telling me so sorry, we will refund your deposit. Now I am inundated with requests to rate my experience. At this time I have no idea if my deposit was refunding, if I have an appointment, or what the heck is going on with this office. I have to drive 40 miles for the appointment and my fear is that the disorganization may result in a closed office when I get there. I have now reviewed my experience and respectfully request these texts and emails stop.
