The communication has been limited, and now trying to get in touch with their office to have some records sent to a specialist is going nowhere. I've called their office multiple times and only get a message that no one is available to answer and the line disconnects. Amongst a number of other issues, this is the final straw. I'm so disappointed.

Experiencia positiva: I can’t give a higher rating when this practitioner treats what she chooses but doesn’t address what YOU feel is important. OR, she over reacts and i now owe $20,000 for an emergency room visit. yes, she told me to go directly to the hospital rather than seeing her at her office. (she has not inquired once about this E.R. visit nor the colonoscopy that i had three months after the fact due to the LOW PRIORITY referral she gave me. this was a super stressful time only ADDING to my anxiety. After my initial appointment, i found it nearly impossible to reach her. leaving messages does not help, this office doe not return calls. 1. fingers filling with fluid and curving is a low priority referral to her. this is rheumatoid arthritis and has worsened since my appointment in may and the R.A. doc that she referred me to won’t see me until October. this condition is now affectin”. g my neck, affecting my ability to drive, therefore it makes it difficult to get to work as well as complete a shift. 2. ANXIETY. i listed this as a concern in may, and she didn’t even discuss it with me in may. i brought it up again last week and with tears in my eyes admitted that i was an addict and needed rehab and she told me “that isn’t my specialty.”. I wasn’t aware that a nurse practitioner had a specialty. and suggested i find a rehab myself and call my insurance to see if it’s covered. blew my emotional well being off so easily I feel unseen, inheard and i don’t think that is appropriate coming from a member of the medical field.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately the experience was not at a five star as i thought. Arrived at my appointment before my time, checked in, and was told i owe a $115 copay for a well woman’s check up visit. Before arriving I’ve previously checked with my insurance and was told my preventative exams are covered at 100%, needless to say the receptionist ladies did not do the wit job to even call my insurance and verify, instead wanted to argue me down and willing to accept my money. That situation got under control and let’s just say i didn’t pay anything as i normally wouldn’t for a preventative anyway. I went in, had my check up and also scheduled another visit for removal of birth control in my arm, Jones insisted that appointment should be in an available 30 min slot for her to have enough time for the session, before leaving the appointment, jones and I verified a good day and time slot for me to come back, scheduled the appointment with the ladies at the front and i proceeded. Fast forwarding into my next appointment day for removal of birth control, being excited because it has affected me tremendously in a negative aspect. Checked in, waited approximately 20 min to get im the room to be told “unfortunately my girls didn’t schedule you in a 30 min slot, so it won’t be enough time for me to do your procedure….. etc, etc more excuses. Personally, i could’ve been told that over the phone and went to work that day instead i wasted a full day of work to get told i can’t get my procedure done. Very dysfunctional, very non-communicative, very unprofessional, very lazy and laid back, not very demure. 0/10 don’t recommend this clinic.

Experiencia positiva: I experienced a long, wait time back in the room. I sat in the room for almost 35 minutes before the doctor came in to see me. No one ever came within that time to let me know anything. Once the doctor arrived, everything went smoothly and quick, but my issue was the wait time before the doctor entered the room.

Experiencia positiva: Dr.Rafat is a very good Doctor he treats my feet well his staff is nice but not so much business like they have failed to write down my appointment 2 times and that is bad, they've even scheduled me for Farmers Branch once and I've never been there so keep up with your appointment cards because they don't, and they need to pay attention to what they are doing

The nurse was friendly and helpful, and the doctor was quick and easy to work with. I was tested positive for the flu. Very efficient and friendly/helpful. I will go back when necessary.
