Experiencia fantástica: This place isn’t like normal chiropractor s I’ve been to. One Dr in the office and MAYBE a receptionist. This office has several employees, all VERY nice. Several x rays were taken, IN THEIR OFFICE then the Dr thoroughly explained and showed me the x rays. He did adjustments then sent me to the PT area, IN THEIR OFFICE, and did some TENS therapy. It was a pleasant experience and Chiropractor s have always scared me. I’ve avoided them because of that, but I came to the conclusion that it was time again because nothing else was working.

Dr. JC provides empathy and wisdom when he heals, and offers feedback to help prevent injuries in the future. You get what you pay for when you come here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Tucson. Other places I’ve gone are completely inattentive and don’t put in the real work necessary for helping their clientele. I was injured at work and Dr Heaton had the experience and knowledge to not only provide timely care but to also get my workman’s compensation approved. He has experience with what forms need to be provided as well as how to answer specific questions to insure the claim gets approved quickly. Even though he is extremely busy he always has time for his patients. His staff is also first rate. From Marie who checks you in, to Joe, a die hard Bills fan and general sports aficionado, to Will and the other massage therapist who are quick with a friendly conversation and knowledge about your specific injury. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and just plain good at what they do. Clearly I am very satisfied with services they provide. And o yea, I’m feeling much better and getting better with every visit.

I went to him many years ago and he helped me even though it took many sessions and doing the exercises he provides. My back and body is a mess of traumatic injuries. I believe he helped me get a lot more use out of my back this past 10 years than I would have not seeing him previously. I wish I would have kept up with the exercises that I got the first time around and maybe I wouldn't be back again. Do the exercises, follow Dr Heaton's advice. ( Easier said than done but...) You will improve! Even if it's not perfect and overnight, if you listen you will improve!!

It’s more than just a snap and go sort of place. I have a long history of multiple injuries and he adjusts me how my body needs to be aligned, rather than a one size fits all approach. They also have an incredible hip traction machine that changed everything for me. There’s also a hyperbaric chamber I have yet to try but want to utilize soon. Incorporating PT for clients after accidents is so helpful and I just love this office and the Heatons so much. Thank you for everything.

Experiencia fantástica: When I went in, my neck hurt a lot (and actually had for years) and my neck range of motion was rather limited (as it had been for years). After the two adjustments and the after care of massage and stim, my pain is reduced by at least 90% and my range of motion is probably 100%. At least that is what it feels like to me since it has been limited for so long. All was done with caring and as gentle as it could be with the extent of subluxation I had. I appreciate you all and my neck and even one of my shoulders feel so much better than they have in years. Thank you! It was a sweet experience!

Experiencia negativa: I would give zero reviews if I could. I have been seeing Heaton's old partner for several months since during covid Heaton and his staff refused to wear masks and would tout an anti-vaccine atmosphere. Recently his partner no longer accepts my insurance so I thought I would try to get in with Heaton since his office has my records. I was scheduled, later that evening recieved a call informing me Heaton would not accept me as a patient because I had been visiting his old partner's office. If this is not competitive unprofessionalism, I don't know what is. This is a reminder why I left there in the first place: unsanitary atmosphere created by refusal to wear masks during peak illness in the community, and Heaton's ego. If you care about your health and want to see someone professional, I highly recommend to not go here.
