This man saw me at my heaviest at almost 300 lbs and gave me moral support to not only lose the weight but do it in a healthier way. Today over three years since our first meeting, I just left an appointment for a routine weight check in and what I like to call “Khan check ins” because when I’m feeling down about my progress, he knows me enough to know how to get me back on track and I left that appointment feeling supported, re-energizeand ready to continue kicking ass on this journey. All the staff at personal primary care offices, care about people. I moved over an hour away from the springfield office, and staff will accommodate me to make sure I am seen in an emergency. Got regular maintenance prescriptions transferred easily on the first day. Had to wait about 8 months until they started taking new patients and so far it was a good choice if and I really don’t expect that will change.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a thank-you letter to both Dr. Khans. I have a very close trusted friend, who recommended Dr. Khan as a PCP. She is thorough and not easily impressed, so I never doubted my choice because she does her research with all decisions, particularly involving health and wellness. However, what I did not expect was to find three stand-out employees: MAGGIE (Mercy/Carew St. Location); SUZANNA (Mercy/Carew St. Location); and JERELIZ (East Longmeadow Location); who are not only talented, skilled nurses, but also somehow “do it all” in the daily operation of running their respective offices of Dr. Khan(s)! Suzanna, Maggie, and Jereliz somehow manage to handle the endless maze of insurance companies, running the offices, equipment, managing patients and their various problems, balancing the challenging personalities of countless patients, including myself, and co-workers, and utilizing their excellent interpersonal skills while solving various crises, throughout their workdays. These three young woman make these impressive skills and tasks all look easy, when we all know it is anything but easy. They manage to demonstrate knowledge, compassion, and caring while maintaining professional boundaries. It is obvious they are skilled professionals, yet they take the time to express empathy and understanding in this understaffed/overworked world. In a healthcare system where it is very easy to complain and see the negative, I want to THANK BOTH DR. KHANS (Nidah and Talal) for hiring these talented, compassionate women. They clearly have and maintain a wonderful knowledgeable staff, including PA Hassen Borhot, Betty, and Crystal, who have also been very kind, helpful, and professional to me. I apologize for not knowing everyone’s name, because there are others in the office I would specifically name. However, I have had on my DAILY TO-DO List to thank these three women for MONTHS AND MONTHS for making my life, and countless other lives significantly better, by being so exceptional in an often weary world, challenged by situational stressors. I also work with the public, and I see that they handle things with a tremendous amount of grace in person and on the telephone, despite multiple deadlines and pressures. I really sincerely thank them for rising above everything, including their own inevitable situational stressors, and truly making patients feel cared for, which is not easy to do, in this current climate. I feel the need to share positive news because my sister and father had multiple dealings with healthcare professionals in their battles with cancer. My immediate and extended families have had a lot of positive and negative healthcare experiences, as we all have, but I only choose to share the positive, and JERELIZ (East Longmeadow Location); MAGGIE (Mercy/Carew St. Location); and SUZANNA (Mercy/Carew St. Location) have completely restored my faith in the health care system!!!!!!!!! I would recommend Dr. Khan(s) to anyone and everyone for all of these reasons and more!
