Experiencia negativa: I walked into the Dr office and they told me I had to go to their walk in clinic to be seen and get help with getting a new patient appointment, which is in the same building. As soon as I walk in the walk in clinic without hesitation I am told that I can not be seen and can't write me a prescription and didn't even know why I was there! But yet they were helping all the Hispanic people do just that! So maybe you should take the word Church off your clinic it appears it doesn't belong there! Yes I asked if that was why I couldn't be seen because they have denied seeing me before for no reason stated! And all a sudden they helped me! Then another elderly white woman who has had issues with trying to get a appointment on your website comes in and they were fixing to deny her help too! But I stood there until they finally offered to help her get a new patient appointment! I never made it to the back in a room they wrote me a prescription and brought it to me at the desk! And ask where to send it!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Walsh saw me and she is so kind and patient. She really listens to your concerns. She is non-judgmental and encouraging. All of the staff from the front desk to the nurses and everyone else there were absolutely wonderful to me. The facility is beautiful and clean. I can not say enough good things about The Church Health Center.

Experiencia negativa: I really didn’t want to even write this review because the church health center was a really great place to go to for over 20 years. But this last visit was half done, was told that they would retake my bp since it was high also said he would prescribe hbp medicine never did either one. He forgot one of my medical concerns and came back and half addressed it. They did blood work but gave me no information on how to obtain the results and when I went to pickup the 2 prescriptions that he remembered one of them was 250$!

Experiencia negativa: This dude name Morris should not have a Dr. In front of his name. He was rude and judgemental to my husband and honestly hella racist on a thousand levels. He was more interested in how I got my insurance, my legit insurance than fixing the problem. I would highly not recommend this place because of him. And the 1 star is not for him but the others that weren't like him!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give them no stars I would... this facility doesn't care about its patients, when you arrive for your scheduled appointment they can't get you in until hours later because they over booked but yet those of a different race gets in as soon as they get checked in. I can't get insurance so im stuck being seen here I just want them to care more.

Experiencia negativa: Hello everyone if y'all thinking about going to this church health center think twice after going to The ER I diceded to Go there for a follow up and further procedures ..well..there is an old men who's name is Morris that has a really bad attitude and he will not listen to you .basically he will only tell what you already know from The hospital and ifyou cross One word with him he will Tell you that that's how God created you and to go somewhere else.. They Will take your 40$dollars and leave you speechless I had to run that same day to Christ community

Experiencia negativa: Not a good place to have someone knowing or having your health records. Lady that was training me was telling me everything that I wasn’t supposed to know. They are unsanitary. They are not empathetic towards patient situations. Misdiagnosed a patient about not being pregnant and having other symptoms. They leave patients in their rooms for hours to walk around, gossip and on their phones. Let the phones ring constantly. I had to come in on an off day while I was having panic attacks after I gave a doctors note. Had to work with patients while having panic attacks. Parking is terrible! Someone hit my car, security said they didn’t see anything so they couldn’t report it. Half of them don’t know what they are doing but they work there. Good luck

Experiencia negativa: I’m in shock, I just can’t believe what happened to me and my friend at her appointment with Dr. Morris (the founder of Church Health). She had been to the ER from pain in her lower stomach Monday night and they told her to do a follow up, so we came to church health and Dr. Morris was very unprofessional and humiliating to my friend. He tried to make her feel like nothing was even wrong with her and he did not want to help her at all. He was very rude and defensive of our questions for no reason, we just wanted to try to find answers to the problem!! No one should be made to feel the way my friend did today. He acted so unprofessional and like a child. It felt like he wanted to hurry up and get us out of there because every question we asked, he breathed loudly and annoyingly. I will never see church health the same and if you really are in pain and need help, I suggest DO NOT go here! Dr. morris not once tried to make things better or apologize. I asked him who else i could talk to and he said no one unfortunately, I’m the founder.

Experiencia negativa: They don’t ever answer the phone I’ve been calling everyday for 2 weeks. I had to go up there and parking is horrible. They won’t see me because I’m not an “established patient”. I’ve been trying to become a patient since 2021 and they always say they have too many patients.

Experiencia negativa: Don't be fooled by their Memphis Plan! They will NOT honor the bills they say. They freely take your monthly payment, but when you get these bills, they tell you they don't guarantee the bills will be covered. WTH! I went to the hospital they assigned and they told me the doctor that saw me did not volunteer his services so therefore i had to apply for financial assistance or get on a payment plan to cover my bills even though it was at the assigned hospital. WOW! Now, i am stuck trying to figure this out!

Experiencia negativa: some of the people are nice, but just hope you don't need anything for your children right away because you'll end up having to go to ER for something simple like a rash, because they hardly have appointments available, and don't have doctors who offer children's telehealth available. Really not impressed.

Experiencia fantástica: This place has literally saved my life twice! If every community had something like this we would be a happier healthier nation. The Memphis Plan is the only way someone on my low income can get the preventative, urgent and mental care they need from knowledgeable professionals for less out of pocket than everyone I know with actual insurance! I'm forever grateful they caught my cancer early and referred me to West Clinic so I am here today. Bless this organization!!!

Experiencia negativa: Leland berkowitz a terrible experience. He talked about a prior physician. Was supposed to have sedation. What he gave didn't work. When I asked for what I had before, he said he didn't give those meds. I stopped the procedure. For someone who was sedated, I walked out on my own and have no amnesia. I will never go back and am having my records sent to another provider today. He doesn't give those meds because he is just a physical med and rehab doc. No anesthesia background. 1st time in my life to give a poor review.

I am a Memphis Plan participant (through Church Health), and I’m always treated with kindness and dignity and professionalism. Even when I have follow up questions about my referral or next steps or something else, I’ve never made to feel like I have a dumb question (which I always my fear). I truly love Church Health.

Experiencia negativa: Doctors are so slow. Every time I go there, it's an hour or two wait to be seen. It's really ridiculous. If you don't have insurance, they don't care every since, Dr. Jennings left he was the best doctor. They don't wanna give anyone the proper care. I hate Dr. Jennings has retired he was the best, and it's one Dr. who made a bad comment to me.

Experiencia negativa: Seems like a fine enough place but they totally mislead me into paying $40 to be told that because my boyfriend isn’t already a patient they can’t help him. I told the person I scheduled an appointment with that he needed to see a urologist (we were recommended to come here after another clinic was unable to provide a referral). She said that he would have to get a referral from a doctor here and couldn’t just schedule directly with the urologist before getting a referral, leading me to believe that if we saw the doctor first then he could give us a referral afterwards. I was super straight forward with what we actually needed and she lead me to believe that the appointment would eventually lead to what I actually needed. We showed up and paid upfront only to be told after waiting for an hour that we can’t get help her because we aren’t already patients and the wait list already has 1500 people ahead of us... so why did they even encourage us to make an appointment in the first place I’ll never know... maybe the church just needed 40 extra bucks out of our pockets...

I received the most rushed rude service today . I guess it’s Friday and everybody ready to go home but they need to remember there are still patients coming in that are in pain and need the best care .

They also fund several very important local non-profit organizations, and are extremely involved in the recovery community. For not only the addicts be themselves, but also offer a lot of education and support for the friends and families of those suffering from addiction and co-occuring disorders.

Experiencia negativa: Do not see Dr. Ryan. I opened my door after hours of sitting in the room. I heard him talking about my case to at least three people. The laughing and talk was so loud I could hear it down the hall. I asked about the medication he called in for me.....his response was.." its just another medication " Really ! The side effects of this medication is worse than what I went in with to get something done about. I truly believe he did not care. When I repeated JUST another MEDICATION??? He knew I wasn't as cool as his co-workers.
