Experiencia negativa: I'm giving 1 star. The front desk staff would get 5. Everything else the vibe was extremely strange in every way. Taking my picture without asking was odd. The blank look on everyones face like they were zombies. The doctor sucking down energy drinks and wanting me to do TMS therapy. After I explained I don't drive and couldn't go there everyday for 5 days he seemed to not care at all, so he obviously was pushing for TMS. Oh and he wanted to stop the one medication I said was working and try something else. So no thank you I'd rather not be a zombie. I'll stick with therapy. I don't do reviews but I thought this should be public knowledge before going.

Experiencia negativa: Very poor communication with office staff. I had a billing issue and tried calling and emailing the office several times to fix it. I spoke to two different people. The first person said she offered to adjust my bill at the time of the call, which is not true. I called them a second time, and a different person said the Office Manager would call me back. So, this mysterious Office Manager has never called me back. I left a VM this week. They call back and said they won't adjust the bill because it has been more than a month since it was issued. That is 100% FALSE as my statement was issued 9/10/24. Date of writing this review is 9/30/24. I've paid $460 for just two visits. On my second bill, they had the audacity to charge me $2 postage for a paper statement! To be perfectly blunt, it's the lack of communication, the lies, and coldness of the office staff that I'm writing this review. I'm so disappointed in services received. I would not recommend this place to others. Update: 10/1/24 - This review has nothing to do with HIPAA. Seeing this online response as opposed to CBH directly calling or emailing me shows their mismanaged priorities. I still haven't been spoken to their Office Manager nor do I expect they will try to reconcile anything. Being told they are "in a lot of meetings" is sad...

The staff are really sweet and helpful. Ms. Erica Bordeau, NP is definitely one of the best! Providing the absolute best treatment, she's very kind and understanding and she cares so much for her patients and it’s a blessing to have her as my NP. I totally recommend CBH. You wont regret it!

It was only about 2 weeks to get an appointment whereas it was months to get an appointment at every other place I called…. I live in New Market but the trip to see her is well worth it. I would recommend Comprehensive Behavioral Health with no qualms!!

Experiencia negativa: I once was going here and attending. A few years ago I wasn’t in a good place due to everything I have experienced in my life which was a lot of abuse and neglect and trauma. PTSD, anger, confusion,insecurity and not feeling loved or excepted by anyone was many of the few feelings I was experiencing. I started working with them and vise versus in hopes to get better. However I slipped when I started dating a toxic person. She didn’t help me at all and there was a point where I could only take but so much suffering from that sort of pain I was enduring and inflicting on myself and during that time comprehensive behavioral health kicked me out and told me I was no good. Eventually after hitting rock bottom, I finally decided to turn my life around by getting the help that I needed. I started with taking medication again and speaking to a dr, going to the gym and started working again and eventually I was getting better. Sadly that person I once was, was no longer me and I was no longer loved and excepted so eventually I was kicked out and disregarded again. I wanted to come back here to comprehensive behavioral health in hopes to apply them to my regimen again in hopes that they will not treat me like they once have and see that I am not the trash they once knew. However after decided to cancel an appointment 24 hours in advance through the patient portal due to the decision to pick my grandmother up from the hospital after her surgery since my grandfather couldn’t due to his recent surgery they still see me as the Collin they once knew. I had hope that they would work with me but instead they are charging me $50 for not attending to the appointment due to them not having any proof of the cancellation. They have treated me like garbage and yet again telling me that I am no good…. I am doing the best I can paying off what I can for the life I once lived but dang they aren’t helping… next time I’ll call and not trust in a faulty system that needs to be updated clearly

The psychiatrist Kelli Cash is yet to even share documentation I need yet I paid for a consultation. If as a business you cant deliver ' DO NOT WASTE MY TIME AND MONEY'. *Update after my review* One of the representative(Emily ) reached back only to realise they went against the instructions I gave them and sent my medical records to an address without my permission. Emily had the audacity to respond to me calling me out for not being honest and responding in block letters. On telling her to share the record release I sent and the documentation I asked for, I was asked to call the office and maybe she will send it to me. 1) I dont understand your obsession with being called, why is an email not sufficient. 2) Kindly train your staff on phone etiquette, email etiquette, (they are rude and incompetent). 3) You only respond when I complain in public domain ( it seems you are more concerned about PR ) 4) For the last time ........ Comprehensive Behavior Health ( or whoever is concerned) can I have my health records sent to my email and stop sending me stories. Just attach the paperwork in my formal email/ portal and stop your sideshows. You have taken my money and are still wasting my time. 5) Dont ask me to call you just respond on email not everyone has the luxury to make calls all day and night to get what is rightfully theirs.

Experiencia negativa: I'm giving them 2 stars, only because Lauren, the PA-C that I seen was pleasant. However she seemed more interested in prescribing meds than learning about my past medical history. As a self pay patient I paid $200 for my initial visit. The first 100 had to be paid at the time of scheduling. The appointment was supposed to be about an hour, I got 30 minutes. I expected her to take time to learn my medical history so she could make a well informed decision about medication choice. Instead she just asked a few cursory questions and then started discussing meds. It was more like a follow-up appointment. She prescribed the worst possible medication for what I'm going through. One dose made my condition worse. I feel like I paid for services I didn't receive. Dr. Kane's office came highly recommended by a friend. I left feeling very disappointed. I'm also very frustrated that the office is closed on Friday. I have no choice but to tough it out for a 3 day weekend or go to the ER. I visited this office 20+ years ago and had a much better experience. *update Please Dr.Kaine respond to this review. I'm tired of all the comments telling us to call the office to resolve our problems. The number given is for the office staff where most of the problems originate. A week ago one of the office staff was very rude to me and didn't allow me to give her all my info. She then wrote a false report and sent it to my provider. This resulted in me receiving bad advice and endangering my life. Now to get the proper treatment I have to go to the office and pay $95 for a 20 min.visit. I was there just 3 weeks ago and had to pay the same amount. I'm not happy.

Experiencia fantástica: My anxiety can get pretty bad in places that are new to me, but my first appointment went very smoothly. Instructions were clear, and I didn’t feel confused or anxious about what I was doing or where I was going. They’d tell me where to go, where to wait, what to do. It was also quiet and clean. I didn’t feel pressured or awkward at all during or before my appointment.

Experiencia negativa: This office is a joke. Seriously, if you care about your mental health go somewhere else. The two doctors I've seen here were fine but the office staff have no business in the medical field. If you read through these reviews you'll find an alarming number of people who were denied care and critical medication over scheduling inconvenience or very minor payment discrepancies. This was my case as well. I HAVE BEEN DENIED MEDICATIONS REPEATEDLY over very small discrepancies. The most recent time I was never informed when my refills were going to run out until I was out of medication. Upon calling the office I was told I would need to wait a week to be seen before a refill was allowed. I asked for a partial to get me through and was told "I don't know, I'll send a message to the doctor" No reply after that, no effort, no care. I had to call constantly over a span of 4 days to get a partial. It was to late. I was already withdrawing. For 3 weeks now I've been dealing serious complications from the withdraw. This place doesn't care about you, and I'm honestly surprised no one has sued them for malpractice.

Experiencia negativa: They leave you hanging with Medicine in a second. At first they said it was my bill wasn't paid in full. After making my account current, I spoke with them, supposedly everything was find for a refill. After waiting a week with me and the pharmacy calling and asking them to call it in, they finally told me they didn't call it in because I hadn't been seen for a while. First, I had 2 appointments in the last 6 months and the medicine and dose were worked out. Second, I had another appointment already set up for a week later. Either there arebad policies about refilling or there communication is terrible, or, more then likely, both. It is just not what you want at a Behavioral Medicine Clinic, I can only imagine the repercussions.

Experiencia fantástica: As a caregiver I transported a special needs individual to her appointment at this location, the individual absolutely loves her doctor. And the care she receives at this location Is suburb. I love the fact that the notes from every appointment is typed and not hand written as often hand written notes are not legible . And as a caregiver of a special needs individual If unable to attend the appointment, it would be easy to overlook or misinterpret.

Experiencia negativa: I've had a positive experience with Dr. Gallow, but my experience with the office has been predatory and almost what feels like unethical. I had an outstanding payment and the doctor's office withheld future appointments which they said were needed to continue my prescription. I've received the same medicine before with a primary care physician and I wasn't required to schedule pricy appointments every three months just for a ten minute telemed appointment to "check in." I'm an adult, if I am having adverse side effects it is my cross to bear to schedule an appointment. The costs really add up, with insurance. I also don't think it's ethical to refuse appointments that are necessary (only by your office's policies) to get medicine needed by the patient if a patient is struggling with a bill, it's not good practice. Offer a payment plan, or an alternative, but don't withhold medical care, especially if the appointment is virtual. I've never had any other practice do that. Friday, 12/15 the office was closed and I left a lengthy message stating I'd like to pay my balance and that I would sign up for an appointment for 12/22 and to please not cancel it as the office is closed and I can't make the payment until Monday. Then, I get a call back on Monday, my appointment I cancelled was rejected and I can't be seen until the 4th, further preventing me from getting medicine. For a provider trying to better patient's mental health the practice is really just causing more stressors. Will look for another provider after this appointment.

All the staff is friendly and helpful and talking to Ms. Cash makes me finally kind of feel heard. I love the fact that they offer telhealth because even though I don't regret the decision to go to Comprehensive Behavioral Health the drive is sometimes just alot, especially when I already have a million things going on. So thank you to everyone at Comprehensive behavioral health for being there to actually help instead of giving up like the others.

Dr Kane is Absolutely Excellent & I wouldn't even dream of going anywhere else, obviously after 17 years. If that doesn't say something about the care that I have received, I don't know what possibly would. I would Highly Recommend this practice to anyone who needs the kind of care that they provide. Experiencia positiva: I had been going here for about a year, but looking back I feel it wasn't worth my time. They started wanting me to visit weekly which was something I just couldn't do with my work at the time. And when I would tell them I couldn't do that, they'd refuse to refill my prescriptions. They'd claim it's illegal to refill a prescription without having seen a patient which is simply not true. Honestly the behavior felt very childish. My doctor was friendly and helpful when I saw her but they're handling of medication is just wrong. So I would personally not recommend going here for your mental health needs.

I felt like he really listened to me and understood my situation and needs and was able to prescribe medication accordingly. When I needed to switch meds or schedule another appointment, it’s been super easy to request appointments online or call and talk to one of the staff. I really appreciate the kindness of the office staff and the overall professionalism and punctuality. If you’re looking for a counselor/psychiatrist/behavioral health provider, I would definitely recommend here!

Experiencia negativa: The practitioners are wonderful, but the office itself is extremely disorganized— cancelling appointments with no warning, mistakenly billing for no-shows, etc. I was sent to collections and had my portal closed for a no-show fee added to my account by mistake. It tanked my credit and delayed me getting my medication by weeks- and then my prescription renewal appointment was canceled as well. Really frustrating when trying to get healthcare.

She was on her phone during our sessions and had little to no feedback or knowledge to help me. Staff was very unprofessional. The girl at the front desk was always on her phone while inputting my information. I don't want the other person to hear! One of the worst therapists ever!
