Fantastic experience: Dr. Etges is not only an amazing PCP but an incredible pain management practitioner. It's important to me to manage the effects of aging and pain without medication. He is the only one I know who uses an ultrasound guided technique for precision placement during PRP injections. I had an injury almost a year ago that resulted in a partial tear in my (infraspinatus) rotator cuff. After months of PT, my mobility was back but the pain was constant and staying at a level I did not foresee living with for the rest of my life. Dr. Etges recommended the Platelet-Rich Plasma injections to promote healing. I was skeptical given the amount of time it had been since the injury. Within weeks, my pain had reduced by half. After the second injection, I only have pain when stimulated now and even when stimulated, it only reaches a level 1.5-2 vs a previous pain level 8. I recently went for an evaluation at Slocum for the injury and was told that surgery would not be needed, it is healing well. I should continue the therapy and will likely experience complete recovery. I hope that my experience helps another skeptic find their way to this valuable therapy and I cannot endorse Dr. Etges approach and expertise strongly enough. He has invested in the education and equipment to be the best in providing PRP therapy and I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Etges is wonderful! He's caring, takes his time, seems to know the latest research on just about everything, and also believes that the body has its own wisdom. I feel so grateful to have him as my PCP.

Fantastic experience: We have been patients of Dr. Etges for 15+ years. There are no words to adequately express how much we appreciate and trust his medical wisdom and treatment. He Is personable, takes time with his patients and is an extremely gifted listener. He never comes off cocky; as if he has all the answers. If he is unsure about a particular condition/issue, he goes above and beyond, consulting with or referring his patients to another medical professional. But, ONLY those he personally trust. These are but a few of the long list of positive qualities Dr. Etges. The best summary, (for those old enough to remember the television show), He exemplifies a modern day Dr. Welby. Anyone fortunate enough to call themselves his patient are truly blessed. Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience both times I’ve been to see Dr Etges which now makes sense after moving here and he was one of the only doctors taking new patients with little wait time for an appointment. His receptionist is equally incompetent after having sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy twice. Dr. Etges spends 99% of an appointment talking about irrelevant stories and 1% on the actual exam. After receiving blood work results the following day, I waited 7 business days and finally has to call his office 2 days in a row, only to receive a call and response from his receptionist (not Dr Etges) to review my results and next steps. I was literally baffled by their reaction (or lack thereof) for my care. The entire experience can only be described as a waste of time, he’s unprofessional, lacks follow up and detail.

Fantastic experience: I have been misdiagnosed and living with chronic pain for a long time until I was being seen by Dr. Etges. Dr Etges puts so much time and energy into being an amazing doctor and it shows. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains things thoroughly so you can fully understand. I appreciate that he is not just a "Here's a pill" kind of Doctor and treats the problem, not the symptoms. Their Front Office gal is pretty awesome too. Overall a great team in the clinic!

Fantastic experience: After years of lower back pain, varies back pain issues, and heel bruises, Dr. Etges's Accupunture has finally helped me feel hopeful that I can resume exercise and fitness at the level I want. He shares his knowledge and insights as we go so I am well informed while getting relief. I believe he is the ONLY doctor who ever addressed all of the comments I wrote on my (very extensive) intake exam. That alone was extraordianary. He has a professional demeanor and at the same time he's quirky and relaxed, making me feel confident in his skills which is important since I'd never had someone insert needles in me before!
