Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Laura for nutrition counseling for almost 6 years now, and I still get relevant information and tips that I can put into practice each session. As someone who has struggled with impulsive and emotional eating, the work we've done around mindful eating strategies has helped me form a better relationship with food.
Fantastic experience: I was referred to Laura September of 2024. I was struggling with proper nutrition and was losing weight and muscle. My goal was to eat a balanced diet, gain muscle and manage my weight. I’m a 52 year old man and cancer survivor that has made health my number one priority. Laura has created an eating and workout routine that has set me up for success with all my goals. Laura and I meet weekly via Zoom and review my nutrition and workout achievements. I’ve tried everything in the past to be successful and nothing has worked. Laura is super knowledgeable and has a way of keeping me motivated and pushing myself to the next level. She’s really dialed-in a program that’s realistic and meets my needs. I highly recommend joining Laura’s program!

Fantastic experience: I came to Laura as a competitive weightlifter looking to lose a couple of kilos while maintaining a high level of performance, and improving in training. Laura has been incredibly in-depth with her analysis of what my nutrition has looked like in the past, as well as what it looks like now and has given me so many tools that I've been able to use in my time outside of the gym. She took everything into consideration, including my eating history, to ensure I created a good relationship with food and learned how to create performance plates. With her, I've lost over 6lbs of fat while improving my strength and performing at the highest level I ever have. Fantastic experience: Laura is super knowledgeable and very easy to talk to about your goals. I love the chat feature on the app so that if I have a question I do not have to wait for our next session. Laura gave me lots of suggestions for meals and snacks.
Fantastic experience: I’m past middle age so when my doctor recommended a nutritionist to assist with menopausal weight gain and low energy, I was conflicted I saw a nutritionist years ago and didn’t like them at all. The only thing I learned “make a fist. That’s the size of protein you should be eating.” So going to see a nutritionist years later left me underwhelmed and I knew I would be a hard sell. This is the equivalent of a blind date. If I don’t feel anything after 10 minutes, I’ll graciously excuse myself. walked in mentally kicking and screaming but within minutes I found myself at ease, and ready to open up about my struggles. Laura is professional, likable, knowledgeable, and a great listener. She has provided with solid manageable strategies that I’ve already applied. If you’re like me and struggling in any way with your body getting older and want to feel better start with Laura. She’s already made me feel better with a few tweaks to my caloric intake. Fantastic experience: We have had an excellent experience with Laura! I needed a dietitian for my teenage son and Laura could not have been a better fit. She really listened and asked great questions in order to understand my son's concerns and his goals. My son found her very easy to talk to and she gave helpful feedback and suggestions to start incorporating as small changes. I liked that she didn't offer a drastic diet change and tried to help him set easy to achieve goals to start. She works in a location with personal trainers and she is very fitness oriented as is my son. Laura has a flexible schedule and also has an easy to use app that you can choose to use or not. It helps you track what you are eating, drinking etc. I have been very impressed so far and highly recommend Laura at Pivot Nutrition.

Fantastic experience: Laura at PIVOT Nutrition has been great at giving great advice without all the shame that one would normally associate with dieting. She takes a day by day approach and takes your lead about the progress you'd most like to see. For me, that has been how to incorporate all the food groups and plan for meals, particularly during highly stressful times. I've learned a lot about intuitive and mindful eating and have seen progress in how I think about food.
