Fantastic experience: Love the place.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend NWMI highly enough. My weight and health have been an issue my entire life, but I've found I can't tackle these issues without help. Thank you Chris and Kelli for helping me shed 40 lbs, and get my blood pressure under control in a healthy program. My initial session recently ended, but I've scheduled follow up appointments to keep me on track!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been members since Sept 2017. Within a year I lost 100 plus pounds and my husband has lost 80 pounds plus and have kept it off all this time. We like the individual personal sessions with includes weighing in, blood pressure and pulse checkups and discussion on personal diets and proper physical exercise. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We have learned how to eat properly and maintain our physical well being. I am 70 and my husband is 75 and we feel wonderful thanks to Nebraska Weight Management.

Fantastic experience: They tailor your program to you and unlike other fad diets and places, focus on your long term health. No rapid short term fad diets, questionable medication or surgeries - instead they find a program and tailor it to your goals. You put in the work, they listen and help educate you. They've been doing it long enough to be experts and you should trust them - I do, and have been going here for 15+ years. If you want long term success with your health - come see them.

Fantastic experience: Take weight off or buy an extra airline seat! I have tried many times, throughout the years, to take off the pounds that accumulated, as if by magic, in later years. I finally faced a decisive moment: While researching a trip, I found if I were over 200 lbs. I would be faced with buying an extra airline seat while in Africa. I immediately did some online weight loss research and came upon Nebraska Weight Management Institute. I went in for an interview and the rest is history. I didn’t have to buy an extra airline seat after all. NEBRASKA WEIGHT MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE: My team consists of Chris & Kelli who are both graduates of the University of Nebraska and registered dieticians, as well as licensed nutritionist, that approach weight loss in a personal & holistic way (because not all plans fit all individuals). Everything that is done for you is customized to help you lose weight while maintaining your health. For me, as a busy individual, who hates to cook but loves to snack, the program offered options on how to manage my eating habits. The OptaFast program is what I chose because it fits right into my schedule, and I look forward to the great drinks, snacks, and meals daily. It has taken since November of 2022 to conclude that what I needed was to modify my behavior where sweets are concerned. I love sweets! Enter Behavior Modification. It takes time but I learned I could have sweets in moderation… the program has some great bars that are more like brownies than something to help you with weight management. I have lost about a pound a week for over 20 weeks, and I have another 20 to go. There is no way to lose weight immediately. Yes, you can sure gain weight almost immediately, but losing it is another story all together. For me it takes teamwork, and Kelli and Chris are my team! CONCLUSION: I’m sure after reading this the question arises: Is this program worth it? I would definitely say YES… and give it the highest rating of 5 Stars! glk

Fantastic experience: N.W.M.I. is an awesome experience. They are genuine, they cared for me, my overall health, not just my weight. They helped heal my mind, my body, and my soul making me feel whole again. As I healed the weight just sort of fell off of my body. I went through the N.W.M.I. experience more then 20 years ago and am still in contact with them today.
