6 years ago Fantastic experience: Visited on a First Friday. Got to chat with the in house resident artist. Chilled in the lounge. Great for relaxing when you want to be out hanging but not walking the streets of DT Oakland in the cold. Really nice employees.

8 years ago Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure to be treated by August and Christina, both of them are amazing practitioners, super professional, respectful, and very knowledgable. The acupuncture sessions and the massages really improved my physical wellness. I highly recommend Mohari Wellness! They make you feel really comfortable and you also feel safe with them.

8 years ago Fantastic experience: Mohari Wellness is an inspired space! I have attended two continuing education workshops there with Monika Kobylecka, who teaches Kiiiko Matsumoto-style acupuncture. Much gratitude to August for bringing this brilliant teacher to Oakland and for providing such a beautiful and healing space to hold our workshop. I'm looking forward to coming to one of Mohari's sound healing events some day soon!

9 years ago Fantastic experience: The location is so convenient and the atmosphere is great - a beautifully done space with art on the walls for a rotating show to boot. I loved the Sound Healing gathering that happens the first Sunday's in the am. The owner August was very welcoming. I'll certainly go back!

9 years ago Fantastic experience: Amazing! My experience was great from the moment I stepped in; the space itself gives off such a warm feeling. I've had treatment from both August and Christina and they do an exceptional job! I went to August because I was battling a head cold for quite sometime. He gave me an assessment at first and then started the acupuncture treatment. The next day I felt so much better! It was fantastic...I received a massage treatment with Christina for my upper back/neck (stiff neck) and this was just too good. I'm pretty picky when it comes to massage therapists too because my mom is one, but Christina has great hands and is so kind! Not to mention I had better mobility in my neck after. Overall AMAZING! I cannot wait to start recurring treatments with both of them :)
