Advanced Physicians Weight Management: Myrtle Goore, MD

Fantastic experience: I truly miss having Dr. Goore as my physician in Montgomery, Alabama. She was my doctor for over a decade, and during that time she provided the kind of care every patient hopes to find but rarely does. Dr. Goore always took the time to explain things thoroughly and made sure I understood my treatment options. She never rushed through appointments and always made me feel genuinely heard and cared for. Her staff was just as amazing—professional, supportive, and incredibly accommodating. They worked around my busy work schedule to make sure I could be seen, always followed up on my specialist appointments, and treated me like family. Since moving out of state, I’ve realized how truly rare that kind of care is. It’s been impossible to find another doctor or team that even comes close to the compassion, organization, and personal attention that Dr. Goore and her staff provided. Montgomery is lucky to have her. I miss you Dr Goore and staff!

They always make me feel as if my health is a priority to them. Dr. Goore listens and will explain things thoroughly, and her staff is the friendliest I've ever experienced. Fantastic experience: Love Dr. Goore and her staff. She was my PCP for the 5 years that I lived in Montgomery AL. Leaving only because of relocation to GA. As my PCP i felt that she addressed all of my issues - treated me as a whole person and not individual pieces.

Fantastic experience: Excellent !!! Dr.Goore and her staff actually listen to you!!! I have never been rushed out of the office with Dr.Goore!!! I have never been left sitting in the waiting area or in the exam room for a long period of time!!!

Negative experience: One fits all weight loss treatment... very disappointing.

Negative experience: Scheduled an appointment for 3:00 p.m. arrived 10 mins. early. Dr. Goore and her staff never followed up and stated she was on her way. (I, myself had to do that) I had to be at work by 4:30, I stayed there till 4:15. No follow up afterwards about having me wait, no apologies. I wish this would’ve been informed to me as soon as I arrived there. Time is something you can’t get back. I wouldn’t go there unless you want your time wasted.
