Fantastic experience: Every person I've had the pleasure to interact with here has been nothing but kind and welcoming. With previous doctor's offices, I've felt uncomfortable and nervous to give the full depth of my concerns. I feel completely comfortable to be open with the providers here, and I've never felt any judgement.
Negative experience: This is a terribly unprofessional establishment. I attempted to patronize this office because of they offer IV infusions, and even with all the terrible reviews I was going to try anyway, but now I can see why. Every time I've had to call on the phone the people are impolite and unprofessional, the times I've had to actually go in the front desk staff were no where to be found. Nothing is offered digitally, you must wait for paperwork to come in the mail and physically take it to their office because their systems are very outdated, it took almost two weeks to complete, and after all of this they would not serve me. They would not accept me as a new patient simply because of a medication I already take that has nothing to do with primary care (and is prescribed from a specialist). Apparently they won't serve cancer patients ♀️. The person that called to tell me was extremely rude, you'd think a medical professional would at least be courteous, but not here evidently. I would not waste your time. Take the other poor reviews seriously.
Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Larison and the entire team. The ambiance is amazing—calm, welcoming, and comforting from the moment you walk in. The staff is always friendly and makes every visit feel easy. One of my favorite parts is the therapy dog, who adds such warmth and comfort to the experience. Dr. Larison is supportive, truly understanding, and takes the time to listen and care. I would never recommend any other doctor—Dr. Larison is simply the best.

Negative experience: Had my first appointment today , heard the staff talking disrespectfully about me while I was waiting in the room . Got labs drawn and the lady had an attitude. Was an absolute waste of my time and money. Its so hard to find a good provider.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Larison has been the best doctor my family has ever seen! I’ve been seeing her for many issues, some of my own and some of my children and she’s been a great help. She listens to the needs and worries of me and my children and always makes sure we are getting the best help we can get, and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would! Negative experience: If I could give negative stars here I would. I have never in my life been so upset with a facility that I have wanted to leave such a scathing review. A very well respected doctor in Wichita reached out yesterday to this office to speak with Dr. Larison. That is when she was met with attitude and disrespect by a gentleman employee who we later discovered was the office manager. Doctor reached out on behalf of her mother who is cognitively declining rapidly and she had questions on the next steps to get her mom in home care or possibly look into an assisted living facility to help her with care. This is when the young gentleman on the phone proceeded to tell this doctor that had he known that she was the patients daughter and not a doctor of a patient he would have never even spoke to Dr. Larison on her behalf or given her any information that she was requesting. He then proceeded to tell her to call the front desk and make an appointment to meet with the doctor. Why would she need to make an appointment with Dr. Larison when she is not a patient there and she just had a couple of questions for the doctor regarding the possible next steps. Dr. Larison has yet to contact anyone regarding this situation. The doctor that called to get this info was so upset with the way she was treated and disrespected, she then asked me (her assistant to call) and speak with a manager regarding the young man she spoke with on the phone. The young lady who answered the phone was also rude and proceeded to tell me that this patient in question did not need help making appointments, getting to appointments, and or having paperwork filled out. So in order to get to Dr. Larison she was to call and schedule an appointment and my doctor and her mom would need to come in together and discuss next steps. What none of these individuals understand or know is that we are the ones reminding her mom of the appointments, telling her where she needs to go, or arranging rides for her to get there, and I am the one who is helping her fill out forms and directing her to call her doctors office and get the forms filled out so we can send in the forms. The fact that these people were dismissing us due to their opinions instead of Dr. Larison tells me this office is out of line and incompetent on making sure their patients are first priority and their health is of main concern. You can clearly see this patient is struggling and in need of assistance. She has declined rapidly in the last couple of years due to multiple strokes and her daughter is only trying to get her the care she needs and was met with hate and disrespect by the staff of this establishment. That was not even the icing on the cake. The last and final straw was that then this young man decided to take it upon himself and call the elderly patient and tell her that her daughter was trying to get her deemed incapacitated. This elderly patient was so upset and confused because she had no idea what was happening. There is a reason for that. She would be confused, upset, and ask a load of questions that we did not have answers too ( hence calling Dr. Larison). Upsetting a patient and to out right lie as to what was happening is disgusting and despicable. This office should be ashamed of themselves and should not be taking care of the elderly. They made a calm and controlled situation turn into one of chaos, anger, confusion, and distrust. All because a well known respected doctor called to ask another doctor a couple of questions and to hopefully get some answers to point her in the right direction. Dr. Larison, you should know who this is about and what doctor was trying to reach out to you for help. If you do not then you should ask your office manager and he should know exactly who he did this to. We will be awaiting a phone call.
Negative experience: Lazy recordkeeping. Never got my medical records in from my previous PCP which is really shady. Really awkward confrontation in the examination rooms. Pressured me to get blood tests despite my trypanophobia which made me feel very uncomfortable. Completely cut off my controlled medications I've been taking FOR 2 YEARS after a completely bogus urine test. I depend on these medications for mental health and they just take it away after the FIRST VISIT. I cannot trust a doctor's office who exhibits this lazy performance, discomfort to patients, and revoking an important medication that impacts my lifestyle. Sorry, Wichita Primary Care, this won't work out for me anymore.
Negative experience: I never write reviews but I feel like this one is necessary. I love Dr. Larison but every time I go to this office I have a bad experience with the nurses/tech/ front desk staff. The first time I had an appointment with the Nurse practitioner and had never met her, nor been introduced. She didn’t have the best bedside manner or communication skills. The techs don’t give clear instructions on what to do/ when to leave the appointment rooms. The billing department is another thing that irks me because it’s always unclear on when you pay/ what balance you have. The customer service at the front desk is just all around bad.
Fantastic experience: I have been at therapy with Brian Kowal for past two years. He has helped me a Great deal with my functional strength and lymphedema in my right leg and wrapping to help manage and reduce it's size. I could hardly walk with right leg due to my lymphedema and now I'm able to go shopping and go walks with my friends.
Fantastic experience: At my Senior age, it is important and comforting to know I can see Dr Heidi, should any health issues arise, while I am back in Kansas visiting friends and family. She is caring, knowledgeable and has a convenient location.
Fantastic experience: I have struggled with lymphadema in my legs for many years. I have been to other physical therapists with minimal results. This is the first time the therapist has shown real concern in reducing the swelling and helping my whole body feel better. I am so happy with my success with Dr. Brian Kowal it is amazing. I’m so thankful to have found him through Dr Larison at Wichita Primary Care

Fantastic experience: My regular primary care physician kind of blew off my perimenopause symptoms so I went to see Dr. Larison because she was recommended by a friend. She listened to my concerns very carefully and ordered a comprehensive set of lab tests to test ALL of my hormones. Not only was my estrogen almost at zero, so was my testosterone and some other hormones. She suggested a trial of some medication to help me to increase some of my hormones to help the symptoms that I was experiencing. In addition, she made me aware that I had not had a well-woman exam or a mammogram that year, which my previous doctor had said was unnecessary. She discussed the importance of preventative care in finding something early enough to treat and shared her own story with me. I felt very comfortable with the conversation and scheduled a mammogram that day. Needless to say, I am scheduling a well-woman exam in the very near future and I will be scheduling my teenage daughter there as well for her first well-woman exam. I feel that not only is Dr. Larison intelligent and professional, but also caring.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Larison and her staff are beyond great. They genuinely care about their patients and have always made me feel comfortable. It is difficult to find passionate and caring health care providers and I am thankful for Dr. Larison and her team. Thank you all for all you do!
Negative experience: Absolute despicable customer service from the front staff. The semaglutide cost is a scam. Their charge you and say they can't charge insurance, but they'll charge insurance anyway after they make you pay. The lady at the desk is a disgrace to humanity and thinks, since she's the Drs mom that she reins supreme and can talk down to you without issue. I hope anyone who goes therealso tells that lady to stick it where it belongs and doesn't allow her to be disrespectful. That lady needs fired.
Negative experience: Heidi is wonderful saved my life literally when I was extremely sick. However they have hired a new doctor and she is horrible, terrible bed side manner, did not introduce herself to me, the nurse ( male ) asked me how the pain was I said it has gotten worse. The doctor walks in says I’m sitting in on this the nurse says he says pain is worse and looks at her and laughs like they don’t believe me. She was very short and rude with me thru the entire ordeal. I recommend Heidi hands down but not the other doctor that’s in the office I apologize I don’t remember her name. I know my body I know what hurts and I know something is definitely wrong I just wanted to be fixed not ridiculed.update they obviously do not read the reviews and or listen to their patients, as I told them what the male nurse did they patched me thru to the one who ridiculed me that day when I told them I was still in pain after my steroids shot. Very disappointing was such a great clinic, but this shows you one person will ruin the entire reputation of what used to be a fantastic place……. So sad
Negative experience: This is the most unprofessional Drs office my family has ever experienced after we established ourselves as patients. On two occasions we asked for very specific tests and found out they had done multiple tests we did not ask for. We are in employment transition and needed to manage out healthcare in a way that minimized routine tests. They did them anyway and when we brought the issue to their attention their customer service was pathetic. Some of the staff were even rude and they didn't care at all.
Fantastic experience: I recently started seeing Dr. Heidi, and she’s wonderful! She really makes her patients feel comfortable from the first visit. She takes the time to sit and listen to you, and ask questions. Best experience I’ve had with a primary care physician!
