Fantastic experience: Pulling down the moon is an incredible place. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for about 5-6 months before I started coming here to see Patrick. I saw him almost every week for about 4 months and am now 37 weeks pregnant, expecting a little girl very soon. I still see him while pregnant, at first to help keep my hormones regulated for growing the baby, and then to help with the very uncomfortable pregnancy symptoms and preparing for birth. Patrick was an incredible advocate for me and my health the entire four months TTC, providing not only his acupuncture expertise, but also providing encouragement and health care/herb tips for sleeping, eating, and women’s health in general. The journey to conceive, as many women know, is very a sad, frustrating, and dismissive one. But Patrick was like a light, never dismissive, and always someone to look forward to seeing on the harder weeks. I’d highly HIGHLY recommend pulling down the moon if you are struggling with infertility or any type of women’s health (PCOS, endo, etc.).

Fantastic experience: Shauna was EXCELLENT! Very knowledgeable about prenatal techniques, as well as tailoring the massage to my needs. I have the dreaded prenatal restless legs and she made sure my feet were elevated and comfortable throughout the entire session.

Fantastic experience: The Moon has been my healing home since 2017. I’ve been seeing Kelsie for acupuncture for several months now to address nerve damage in my legs, heaviness in my pelvic floor, and pms symptoms. I am happy to say all symptoms have improved tremendously! Highly recommend her for anyone seeking support with hormone imbalances and postpartum recovery.

Fantastic experience: I've had a great experience of acupuncture treatment with Kelsi. She's very kind and approachable, so I've felt comfortable sharing a holistic sense of my health and bodily concerns to inform treatment. She also explains all the acupuncture points and answers to any other questions with care and context. I've been seeing her for about 3 months now and have experienced noticeably fewer migraines in that time. I'd recommend acupuncture with Kelsi and PDTM even if you're new to acupuncture and have some hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Kelsi! When I got to Pulling down the Moon I was having trouble simply walking. I have severe Rheumatoid arthritis and it was raining hard. All my joints were swollen. I had recently fell and my back was so tight. Kelsi was wonderful. She even put peppermint oil on my face, the heating lamp on and turned the lights off. Afterwards I came walking out with no pain, standing up straight and my niece who drove me there said Wow! You're really moving now!

Fantastic experience: Walking into Pulling Down the Moon, I was immediately greeted by Lisa, whose warm welcome set the tone for my fantastic experience at their Chicago location, surrounded by the calming and welcoming atmosphere. My therapeutic massage with Melissa was incredible! You could tell Melissa knew exactly what she was doing. She not only tackled the specific issues in my back and shoulders that we had talked about but also discovered some other tight spots I hadn't even noticed. I love getting knots worked out, and Melissa definitely delivered. She used the perfect amount of pressure, just like I asked. Throughout the session, she asked insightful questions to make sure she was targeting the right areas. Afterward, Melissa gave me some helpful tips to keep my shoulders and rotator cuff mobile until my next massage. Overall, my experience at Pulling Down the Moon was fantastic. I would go back and get another massage from Melissa in a heart beat!

Second - get a massage with Victoria. She has been gifted with the magic touch! I can't wait to get my next massage. Fantastic experience: Thank you! My prenatal massage with Victoria was great. I’ve had 2 massages at pulling down the moon. There was a little hiccup with hallway noise during my first massage but pulling down the moon was wonderful my second time around. Serene and relaxing massage with a special cutout table for prenatal massages. Victoria used specific elevated pillows to make sure I was comfortable by placing them under my hips when I was face down and then using a wedge when I turned around to lay on my back. Great massage! Made me feel comfortable, the meditation/relaxing music was nice. Quick and easy check-in. Tea and water station available. Plenty of metered street parking available. I’ll be back.

I didn't think I had time to add acupuncture and massage into my weekly schedule -- but I saw such good results that I made this a priority in my fertility journey. I didn't miss a week of acupuncture leading up and during my IVF cycles. During my pregnancy, I kept up with the weekly acupuncture and did the fertility massages also. I had a very easy and healthy pregnancy and delivery. My body was ready. My stress levels were reduced and I had less headaches. Besides the successful pregnancy and birth -- I am glad I did the prenatal yoga classes. Meeting other women who could understand what you're going through is helpful. You don't feel crazy.
