Alzein Pediatrics

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Alzein. I could go on and on.... I can say he has been a wonderful provider. He will remain my provider as long as he is practicing. His staff is always polite, and courteous. I feel like I hit the jackpot with finding him. Average pediatric care is everywhere, but why settle for average when you can have THE BEST!

Negative experience: Waiting for almost 2 hours staff members so rude unprofessional and no customer service at all. Looking for someone else

Positive experience: Doctors and support staff are great but with such a high volume of patients (I'm assuming since I can't get an appointment for my daughter for 3 days to be seen for a sick/urgent visit), this practice could use a telephone triage nurse/staff. Also, I've sent messages to the doctor through the healow app and have gone unanswered.

Fantastic experience: I really liked Dr Alzein. We had him when my eldest was born at LCM. If we didn't have a long history with our family physician we would have used his office. He was very polite and supportive towards a new mom in 2014. He listened a lot and was well informed about the delivery. He would ask how we were doing. Nobody asks a new dad that ever. My other 2 deliveries is proof of that. He's a wonderful person and a good doctor. I would trust his practice if needs ever changed.

Negative experience: This used to be a pleasant place to come to. As of recently however the staff have gained an attitude. It's like they don't want to be there. For the second time we scheduled a morning appointment and ended up waiting 30 minutes because the Dr wasn't even there. Honestly this isn't the place to take your children. They are rude.This time since we had to wait once again for the Dr. We used the time to find another pediatrician. We left here and went to the new Dr. to fill out the proper forms for both of our kids to get their records released. Don't waste your time with this place unless you like rudeness and attitude or if you enjoy having your blood pressure elevated.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Pediatrician, along with the rest of the Medical staff.

Negative experience: Dr Alzein is amazing, his staff not so much. I have ran into so many issues with his staff double booking appointments and even scheduling appointments that are not honored when I arrive to the office. This is a huge inconvenience as me and my husband take off work and our kid misses school to go to the doctor. My child had an ear infection and the nurse practitioner kept prescribing the same medicine over the course of a month, when i told her it didn't work and we needed something stronger she ignored me and prescribed the same thing again. I told Alzein I do not want to see that woman again clearly she doesnt know what she is doing and he did apologize. The last straw was when I showed up to the office with a confirmed appointment and they had no clue what i was talking about. I really wish this office was more organized because i think Alzein is very knowledgeable, gentle and effective with his treatments. Due to his unprofessional, rude staff I changed doctors. I also asked the front desk worker what insurances they take and she replied "We dont take medicaid", well that was extremely rude seeing how i didnt ask did they take medicaid, i simply asked what insurance. She assumed I was on medicaid and that was offensive.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alzein and his staff are very helpful and sweet! Dr. Alzein is a very kind and patient. He always answer all of our questions! The staff is also great! They will take my daughter in the same day if she needs to be seen! The nurse that also takes my daughter in is so sweet and kind, I think her name is Felicia I'm not sure though but my baby girl love her! Thank you Dr. Alzein and staff for being so wonderful!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alzien is the best doctor ever! Very kind caring doctor, very understanding , he takes his time and explains everything, he has his way to make our son feels good My son Mahmoud loves him

Fantastic experience: Alzein Pediatrics is awesome. They always get my kids in for sick visits like tonight I called at 630 and they got me in by 715 when my 5 year old was coughing really bad.

Fantastic experience: I've been bringing my baby here since birth (October) and have been very pleased with this practice. We have had a few extra appointments than the typical schedule for various minor issues, and it is always easy to get an appointment. The staff is very friendly and patient, in the office and over the phone. That is super important to me, and definitely not always the case in other offices. Occasionally appointments get a little backed up, but they acknowledge it and it's obvious that they all work together to keep things moving. We have seen Ms. Ruele, Ms. Malloy, Dr. Riff, and Dr. Sundermeier so far, and each one has been kind and thorough. Ms. Ruele has been especially helpful for me while establishing a good breastfeeding relationship. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Alzein Pediatrics! Every doctor that has seen my kids has been great. I don’t think I’ve ever had a long wait. All the doctors are very understanding and patient. They always make my children feel comfortable everytime we go!

Fantastic experience: Dr Alzein is patient and kind, with a wonderful bedside manner for his little patients and their parents. His staff is friendly and helpful, too. His office hours are accommodating and we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Love this practice!

Fantastic experience: It cannot be over stated how wonderful the doctors and their staff are in caring for children. They are extremely accommodating when there is an emergent situation (phenomenal front desk staff) and thorough when it comes to follow up care. You are never treated like a number and you can rest assured that all of your questions will be answered with patience and kindness. My son had reoccurring ear infections and bronchial issues and the doctors always fit us in and took care of us right away. Another great thing about this practice is that you can see ANY doctor here and get the same quality results. I’m very happy with Alzein Pediactrics.

Fantastic experience: Alzein has been with my boys since they were born, now all the kids in my family go to him, he is such a wonderful doctor, and person hands down, always there for his patients always takes time and is spot on. Avery campaign honest caring doctor, I reccomend him to all with no doubt or hesitation at all. I love him and am very grateful to have him as part of my kids life and health.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been going to Alzein pediatrics for the last 4 years. Our 3 daughters get the best care from all of the staff, starting at the check in. Dr. Cermak is our family’s favorite! She is friendly, makes the girls feel comfortable and really takes the time to treat the girls for whatever is ailing them. We highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: We switched from a different pediatrician to Alzein Pediatrics earlier this year, and so far we are very happy and comfortable with the office. All providers that we have met so far have been great with our 6 & 3 year old children! Very knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and take our concerns seriously. They made us feel comfortable in asking questions, not rushed or as though we were asking silly questions. The front staff and nurses/medical assistants are all very friendly and accommodating as well. I would recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is friendly and caring. They take my concerns seriously and make referrals without hesitation. They call to follow up to see how my children after we go for a sick visit. They have same day urgent care appointments and are always accomadating. I feel very comfortable taking my children here.

Fantastic experience: When my daughter was born 13 years ago, Dr. Alzein was the on call doctor at the hospital she was delivered at. We have been with him since that day! Love that I can call the office any morning and she can be seen that day for anything pressing. Office is very accommodating and referrals are done in timely manner.

Fantastic experience: The office, staff, assistants are all awesome, welcoming, and accommodating. Dr Alzein is compassionate and understanding. The office has extended hours and weekend appts... it’s easy to be seen when the child is sick helping reduce the chances for an unnecessary ER visit. My children feel comfortable with Dr Alzein and I’m very thankful for that!

Fantastic experience: Our son was born next door & Dr. Sundermeier was with us at the hospital from the beginning, this office feels like home to us. Recently our son got an ear infection, we called at 6:45 PM expecting the answering service but they snuck us in and we rushed over for a last minute appointment and we were able to start his antibiotics immediately and avoid a rough night of ear pain & crying. Thanks again guys!! Everyone is very nice, definitely recommended as a great place to take your little ones.

Fantastic experience: Love that I can see someone on the day when my kids are sick! Knowledgeable and friendly, from Dr. Alzein to the MA’s, to the PA’s( Ms. Cermak is my absolute favorite), to the receptionist who heard my little one coughing over the phone and made room him that evening! I know if I ever have a concern Dr. Alzein listens to me and to my mom intuition!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alzein has been our family’s pediatrician for 6 years beginning with my first born child. I love that they are close to our home and have two locations to serve our needs. Adding extended hours was a very positive step forward to keeping our family coming back.
