Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I am pleasantly surprised how this team has gone above and beyond in service. Bonus: super easy to book appointment and upkeep on the app plus the facility really clean. The front desk, phone receptionists (knowledgeable and helpful), and especially— NP Patricia Benham! If you need a Primary Care she is EXCEPTIONAL. Her bedside manner, care, medical precision, and follow up is unmatched. Thank you all for contributing to my wellbeing.

Negative experience: Avoid Dr. Haq. We merely require a past medication to be refilled, but he insisted on ordering lab tests, X-rays, and additional prescriptions. He refuses to send referrals to any specialists and he only wants patients who will continue returning. After visit, we attempted to communicate via messages and calls to his office, but he never responded. He is the worst Advantage care physician we have ever met, walk away if you could.

Negative experience: Was told I would still be seen after letting them known for two days straight I would be 5 mins late. Exceptions should be made especially if it was wrong information due to employees relaying wrong information to patients.

Positive experience: Very clean, spacious and quick paste both Dr. Haq and nurse was welcoming, respectful and informative. Look forward to visiting again!

Fantastic experience: I must say that the staff at this location are wonderful. From the check in personnel, the doctors and all medical staff to the check out personnel. Dr. Motiram is very attentive to my concerns and responds quickly on the patient portal to referral requests for specialist I’ve already seen or prescription refills and also notifies me my test results. Personnel at check in and check out are friendly and courteous and do their absolute best to help you when making appointments and other requests.

Negative experience: I went to this Clinc one time and it’s my last time. So I go and ask the lady at the front desk if she ask whoever gonna see me to plz wear a mask because I have a serious condition and can’t afford to get sick, she rolled her eyes I let it go. When I was done seeing the rude doctor I had to make another appointment she had a attitude and didn’t wanna make my appointment and ask me do I understand what she saying I replied i speak English very well. Ok so then I go downstairs to the other Clinc to make another appointment she followed me down there then went outside waited for me we both looked at each other she said nothing in walked across the street so I walked off. Next thing I know her “boyfriend” jumps out his car cussing at me she sitting in the car laughing. I went to her supervisor who seem like she’s not gonna do anything about it. Don’t go here don’t waste your time

Negative experience: Pre pandemic this place was amazing. Now this place is just horrible. The offices are great, the doctors are too. The real issue is just the lack of doctors they have.

Fantastic experience: Five stars to Eric Woods. He listened to my concerns. I felt respected and heard. Was treated like a human. The other staff members before seeing him were very cold and demeaning. The easiest rule in the world "Treat people like you want to be treated ".

Negative experience: My recent experience with them was extremely disappointing. The PCP and Clerical Associate were very incentive to my needs. Scheduling an appointment, which means more money, was much more important than my fear and anxiety. My provider refused to come out to answer a simple question, that would have relieved me from the anguish. Instead, I was told to check my My Chart, even after I told them I wasn't familiar with it. I hope that they render more empathy, over monetary gain.

Negative experience: Yo estoy tratando de pedir Cita con la pediatra Dr Varma por telefono Desde hace meses pero Los que contestan El telefono son tan mal educados que cuelgan,o simple mente se quedan en silencion,yo pido traduccion y me dicen que no tienen este servicio.Estan Jugando con la Salud de mi hija es inaceptable que en NYC y con cobertura BCBS existes este trato.Hoy lame 2 veces.

Negative experience: So I also have to give this clinic a bad review. I booked appointments for me and my son as new patients, explaining I was out of blood pressure medication for Jan 24th, 2023. I chamge primarily on insurance to Dr. Motiram and had new insurance cards mail to me. All for 2 weeks later today to get a call saying appointments are canceled dr.not seeing new patients. If these people can not handle making appointments, how are they supposed to handle my health care .I asked how does a mistake like this happened. Her answer was that she didn't know . She then scheduled me for east side clinic without even giving me spelling of Dr. Name or a number to clinic. She didn't even apologize for the inconvenience until the end of the call. If I had to describe this clinic in short, it would be incompetent and unprofessional. Pick a different clinic!!! Because they like to waste ur time here.

Negative experience: They do not take care the needs of people of the community. Doctors at this location is always booked, so you won't see your primary doctor until 3-6 months after you need them. You lose employment if you need paperwork filled that requires a doctor. I do not recommend this place.

Negative experience: I shared my experience over a year ago. My mother attempted a new experience despite my review. I called this morning to confirm her appointment. All good they say. After paying for a pricey taxi to take her there, they said it's cancelled. If you're late, they want to charge late fees and all other ridiculous BS. If they cancel your appointment, they don't even call or email. They deserve to be reported and held accountable as a business. Simply filing a review isnt enough, they need to be taken to task for their gross incompetence. Give that space to another competitor, rather than waste the public's time.

Negative experience: The obgyn kathy knew I needed to be seen for something important and didn’t want to see me cause I was a few minutes late. Careless and distasteful.

Negative experience: I have been bringing my son here since he was born in 2015, but today will definitely be the last time. The front desk staff and the Nurse for Dr. Varma are completely disgusting. I walked in with my son and was told that we could be seen but when the front desk called the Nurse (on speaker) she was nasty and inappropriate. This is a pediatric nurse? No way! I was told that I would still be seen…fast forward 1 1/2 hours and no one batted an eye. And when I checked on the time frame, I was told I’d have to wait for another hour. If someone has said that the wait would be that long, I would not have stayed. Who in their right mind would have? Completely ridiculous

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ramirez-Reyes the Optometrist was very nice and very helpful, I let her know what was going on and she ran every test to make sure nothing was wrong with my eyes! If you ever need to see an Eye doctor you should go to her.

Fantastic experience: When my daughter’s pediatrician Dr. Fine was fired from the E. 95th Street location I decided I wanted to change locations as I wasn’t pleased with the new providers. My family and I decided to give the Harlem Location and we have been going to this Advantage Care location for years now. The office is located up on the 2nd Floor. Since COVID when arriving to the office there is a staff member in the hallway near the elevators to check your temperature outside. Once cleared you can go in for check in for your appointment which is fast and easy. The waiting area is also comfortable with chairs and some tables which comes in handy when my daughter has school work to complete while waiting on her appointment. There are also outlets and USB Ports for patients to charge their devices. The waiting area is clean and very spacious which allows for social distancing. The reception staff are courteous and professional. My daughter’s pediatrician is Dr. Varma. I have no complaints about her. When we arrive for our appointment, we’re usually called within 5-10 of our appointment. Dr. Varma listens to our concerns about my daughter’s health and doesn’t brush me off. She is very caring, patient, and explains things to us. When I message her on the app she responds or if I call her, she returns my calls. When I need to get to an Urgent Care, I come to this location and the providers I’ve seen have also been professional. There are a variety of doctors and specialist at this location.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent visit! The staff was friendly, efficient and thorough. They were patient and helpful! the location was very convenient as well. I will definitely continue visiting this office!

Negative experience: Older bald female receptionist change the appointment for an hour early one hour before the appointment, then complains about me being late for 5 mins because nobody was outside to take my temperature. Meanwhile provider is late for 3 hours. Please don't come to this location. Very unprofessional staff.

Negative experience: 1st appointment of the day with my provider, 45 minutes after my apt time and I still haven’t seen them. The time management in this practice is non existent. The difference in quality of care you receive at ACPNY is vast. Don’t come to this location. It doesn’t matter which provider you see here the wait time will be an hour minimum. Take your business elsewhere.

Negative experience: This should be ZERO stars ! I have been a patient of Dr Motiram for several years now since her first location on Amsterdam ave but since her re-location to the Harlem office facility the staff is very unprofessional,and the service is HORRIBLE I've had to make several complaints. Which was never addressed or handled properly. I wouldn't recommend this location for your healthcare. I'm sure there are other very good Doctors at this facility that are excellent doctors they need to re evaluate that current staff before they start loosing patients due to the lack of treatment and non professional work ethics

Positive experience: Courteous, not a long wait

Negative experience: This is the worst clinic and has certainly gone downhill. I have been a consistent patient for almost 10 years and the level of medical care and attention as well as professional is HORRIBLE to say the least. P.A. Wood as another reviewer mentioned is very unprofessional, incompetent and ignorant to say the least which doesn’t say much to the PCP who oversees him. I am forced to leave the whole practice during a pandemic because I value my health!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient here since 2003 from their first location on Amsterdam. I Love my doctor and the medical staff here. I have been with him since I aged out of pediatrics. The service is fast, informative and efficient. They answers all of my questions and are patient and kind. Best service in the city. I’m so happy to be apart of their network.

Negative experience: I wish I could give this place a lower score. Dr. Shamini Mylvaganam is the worst... she refused to see my wife for her checkup after a c-section because we arrived 15 minutes late (we parked 4 blocks away and my wife couldn’t run to her appointment). The people at the front desk claimed she was seeing other patients and couldn’t see us that day because she was “extremely busy” even though there were only 3 male patients waiting to be seen by other doctors at the clinic. I guess Dr. Mylvaganam forgot everything about the Hippocratic Oath when she started cashing her checks! Never going back to this place!

Negative experience: WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Fantastic experience: I was recently a patient of podiatrist, Dr. Snyder's. I had several visits before and after my foot surgery. The check in was easy, the wait time was always minimal, and Dr. Snyder was one of the friendliest and efficient doctors I've ever had.

Positive experience: Nice service

Negative experience: This review is specifically for Dr. Wood on behalf of my 76 year old mother who has been dealing with him for the past 2 weeks. She presented with chest pain and was not able to see her regular doctor and was therefore sent to Dr. Wood. The first prognosis was wrong and for a follow up he scheduled a CT scan that requires another doctors sign off. She was required to travel, sick and in pain, to another doctors office and then forced to wait for 2 hours for this clinic and Dr. Wood not to tell her where she needed to go next. She went personally to the office and waited ANOTHER 2 hours for him to not even come out and explain the problem as to why she needed to wait without answers. THEN she was sent to the WRONG office!! This clinic and Dr. Wood completely lacks professionalism and care for their patience. They incompetent and should be avoided at all costs.

Negative experience: Longest wait times ever regardless of whether you have an appointment.

Negative experience: Visited this site today, for a walk-in appt to have my BP taken, only to be told that this particular Saturday is for pediatric patients only. . .DESPITE THIS NOT BEING EXPLAINED ON THE WEBSITE OR POSTED ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES. This site was COMPLETELY EMPTY and no one could offer me any services. This is horrible patient/customer service!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, despite one receptionist and my GYN doctor being professional and providing proper care-no one else at this facility has been what I’d like when I visit the doctor. My sons test results were “lost” twice and he’s been waiting for weeks to have a work form completed. To make matters worse his doctor whom I don’t know well at all since he was his new doctor-didn’t seem very nice at all. Lastly, despite providing insurance information over the phone and in person they’ve still managed to bill us instead. Definitely going to find a new physician for my son. I’ll continue to go there for my GYN bc the doctor is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Negative experience: I have come in with my daugthers to be seen on a very hot day. We are being told that the doctor on sight does not take their insurance. And That they have to wait till 3 to be seen. It is now 12:30 pm. This is outrageous. The waiting room is completely empty. But my kids can't be seen till 3pm. These people are inconsiderate.

Negative experience: My child is NEVER sick. I called today when she has a stomach virus and was informed I could NOT get an appointment with her doctor BUT I could go to another facility to be seen at 3pm. I called at 8am when the phones came off service. They don't allow any time in the schedule for sick visits. I will be requesting my records.

Negative experience: Very rude stuff . I had a child with severe allergies and couldn't see my doctor. Earliest would be 7 days from now . Wouldn't recommend if you want to have knowledgeable and easy accessible doctor for your child

Fantastic experience: I went in for an eye check up and got exceptional customer service and care. The staff was brilliant and everything went phenomenally well. Couldn't have gone any better.

Fantastic experience: My father is very pleased with this clinic. It is very clean and modern and the staff is very professional. He never waits longer than 5 minutes for an scheduled appointment with a specialist. I highly recommend this medical practice. Cheers.
