Negative experience: While the colonics, did what they needed to do. The products this company sells (Purium) are overpriced. I felt that I was pushed to purchase more than I was comfortable with. To be totally transparent, I spent over $500 on glorified fiber and laxatives. Just do your research before purchasing these products.

Fantastic experience: My husband Mike and I have seen Maureen weekly for colonic treatment for about 6 months now. My husband suffers from chronic pancreatitis and he swears she has saved his life. He tells people on a daily basis with compromised pancreas, liver, colon or intestines that this is truly life changing. It may seem strange at first to have someone watching you do your business but Maureen makes it so comfortable because she has such a passion for helping people get their digestive tracts working correctly. Fantastic experience: I went for my first treatment with Maureen not knowing what to expect or how I'd feel about it. From my first time going in with quite a bit of trepidation Maureen has be extremely professional, kind, and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. Every time I go I notice changes in the results of the treatment and the after effects at home. When I was leaving my 4th treatment I asked her about the FAR Infrared Sauna that she has there and she explained that the detox and elimination is so much better if you do the sauna first. And she was very right! The sauna is very spa-like, super relaxing and private and my colonic after it I experienced a much better elimination. That was it, I will always do a sauna treatment first now before the colonic. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it, the difference between just the colonic and the sauna and colonic was huge for me!!!

Fantastic experience: Before I visited Natural Health and Wellness, I was in and out of the doctor's office. I had cyclical vomiting and was losing massive amounts of weight with severe ulcers in my stomach. No one could figure out what was wrong with me. I was so frustrated. All I wanted was to be healthy and I was getting no answers from the docs. Later I found out that I was diagnosed with H. Pylori and peptic ulcers. My older brother has been getting colonics for quite some time now. He recommended me to Natural Health and Wellness. I had never gotten hydrotherapy, but based on the way I felt, I was willing to try anything. I had a hydrotherapy colonic done for the first and it was amazing. I can't speak for everyone, but I lost 5 pounds my first time! I am not a big guy, I'm 5'10 and was 121 pounds before going in. When I left, I was 116 pounds. Everything that was released from my body was mucous. I was starting to feel better already. What truly put me on the road to recovery was Maureen. She is also a nutritionist. She reinforced to me that my medicine is my food, and my food is my medicine. After getting a lot of guidance on how to heal myself through proper nutrition, along with my first hydrotherapy, I felt human again. The foods recommended to me by Maureen are now my staples because of how great I feel! I was vegan for 11 years. I've been 130 pounds since that time up until I was diagnosed with H Pylori. Fantastic experience: I’d researched colonics and found Maureen on Yelp. I’m so happy that I met her. She’s a wealth of valuable knowledge, and by nature a “healer”. Have you ever spent a small amount of time with someone and walked off feeling re-energized and happy? When I leave Maureen I feel like I have a new glow of positive energy and it’s infectious.. Once you meet her, you’ll know what I mean. I’m 40 years old, fairly healthy, exercise with a trainer 5 days per week, eat healthy; gluten free, whole foods and I know that mental health is just as important. In October 2015, within a month, I’d lost over half of my hair, I was breaking out, I had dark circles under my eyes and I was battling constant bloating. The bloating I’ve actually been battling for 25 years, I was constantly bloated and starving myself to make the bloat go away. Now, I eat EVERYTHING I want and I’m loving life- not staying home in bed because I can’t fit into my favorite outfits. And that’s only the one aspect of my new health, thank you to Maureen. My first visit with Maureen was a colonic and tons (yet, not overwhelming) of VALUABLE information about my daily intake (everything I put into my body, including medications). She explained to me the difference in how some medications are coated with stuff that may be counter productive to our lifestyle. She also noticed that I appeared emaciated/malnourished, though not underweight. I was surprised to hear this, however she nailed it because that’s exactly how I felt. I eat a lot of nutrient rich foods, however when I looked in the mirror saw gaunt and “unhealthy”. I’ve been seeing Maureen for a few months now and I see/feel the difference. I’ve actually been able to make a full bowel movement (haven’t done that since 2003) and put on healthy weight (not belly fat) because she helped guide me through the process of finding which food types were bloating me. My mental/emotional state is a 9, before I felt like I was barely pushing a 4 and I feel fabulous. I feel light a air! Maureen got me off of all of those useless supplements I was taking, and I was taking supplements by the boatload. Now I get most of my nutrients from whole foods and take the vitamins/minerals that I’m deficient in as a boost. I’m now off of my synthetic thyroid medication and taking a natural Thyroid med prescribed by my M.D. and doing vitamin drips with a naturopath who Maureen works closely with. I’ve experienced such a dramatic shift in my life since meeting Maureen that I’ll be doing a diet analysis with her so that she can help me fine tune my nutrients there. I leave my colonic appointments feeling rejuvenated from the inside out.

Fantastic experience: Maureen kept me out of the ER and possibly much worse. I was severely constipated and had tried everything and nothing worked. I called Maureen, she could tell I was in distress and got me in right away. I was in her treatment room for 3hrs, She told me later normally a session is 45 min. When I left I felt 100xs better. I am now getting colonics on a regular basis and have added it to my health and wellness routine. Fantastic experience: Maureen is incredibly knowledgeable on many different levels. You can honestly tell that she loves what she does. This was my first time having a colonic done and she made the experience completely comfortable. She has a very warm nature to her and her office was cozy. She also followed up with me and truly cared about my healing process. She maintained contact with me even after my set of colonics was completed. Fantastic experience: My naturopathic doctor (ND) is the one who recommended Maureen, and when I contacted her, she thoroughly (and patiently) answered all my questions. I had never before experienced a colonic, and I was quite uneasy. However, when I went to her office, I felt more at ease. She's very friendly, her office is cozy, and her colonic rooms are very relaxing. It's also nice that I can choose my own music to listen to during my sessions from her CD collection. She has helped me understand, in layman's terms, how the digestive system functions, and she's also very knowledgeable about herbs and the types of foods to eat in order to maintain a healthy gut.
