Sea Mar White Center Medical Clinic: Reviews
Fantastic experience: This is my first time at this clinic. ❤️ There are professionals working here, I am very grateful to you all. I would especially like to thank Dr. Belen Mesele. Thank you very much.
Fantastic experience: Very clean and the staff are friendly
Fantastic experience: Seamar is an awesome recovery centered facility, with really great counselors and staff. They really participate and lead with recovery support.
Fantastic experience: Seamar Doctors saved my Life. I returned to see my Primary Care Dr. Ocean Williams January 2 2025, as a new year resolution. He Referred me to Cardiologist Stephanie Cooper and I saw her 15 min later there in the White center Clinic. Stephanie prescribed aspirin and nitroglycerin pills as a precautions until I could get a CT angiogram done. On January 9 I had the first of 5 mini hart attacks over the weekend I had been taking the Aspirin as prescribed and chewed on the Nitro pills each attack. Monday morning, Jan. 12, I called the staff at SeaMar for advice about what I should do. They instructed me to go to the ER. Now I have a life saving stent installed in my hart by the Interventional Cardiologists at St. Anne Hospital and a whole new chance at life. I was in denial. I was still not convinced my symptoms were hart related because it really didn't hurt. Yes, I should have gone to ER on Jan. 9 but I made ignorant decisions. I'm convinced that Dr Williams and Dr Cooper saved my life by getting me the two medications and giving me awareness that kept oxygen getting to my hart while my idiot brain figured out how to get help. Think about the time line. First Dr. visit in years Jan 2, hart attacks a week later, three days in the hospital and feeling good as new Jan 14. I get emotional thinking about how it would have turned out without these doctors spot on accuracy. It's completely humbling that the people at SeaMar come to work every day, deal with the complicated and stressful human condition, just in case a person needs to have their life saved. Marc Parker
Negative experience: Muy mala clinca en la recepción muy mala actitud se cren muchoy amanecen de malas una delas que atienden enfrente como si l clinica fuera de ella y racista que es y por eso no recomiendo la clinca por eso me boya cambiar de clínica
Negative experience: I had an appointment at 9:45 checked in at 9:50 5 mins late and it took them 10 mins to call my name the front desk lady said "let me see if we can still see you with a huge eye-roll" I said "well I mean I was only 5mins late you guys had a line. Was I supposed to be here 15 mins earlier? She said "No at 9:45" (with another eye-roll) and then said they couldn't see me , I would've been fine with it like okay I messed up maybe I could've been here 15 mins earlier or ON TIME but the front desk ladies showed 0 empathy and gave an insane amount of attitude. For a health care center who's supposed to care of people they clearly hate their jobs. It was more of their tones and their body language that threw me off they were such beautiful ladies but 0 empathy or care that includes that other man with glasses who is "greeting" , I understand the stress level they go through because I'm in similar field. But just wow...
Fantastic experience: I walked in today without an appointment. That being considered, I was seen without having to wait very long and was thanked by multiple people for waiting. Wasn't necessary but I found it to be quite sweet. Everyone I encountered was kind, patient and helpful. It appeared as though majority of the staff is bilingual. Facility was very clean and there was ample parking. I am very thankful my friend suggested this clinic. I don't have insurance. I originally had an appointment with Neighborcare and once I found out that for a new patient to just walk in the door it would be $279, I canceled. In comparison, I believe it's $170 at Seamar. Still not cheap, but I don't think that exists in this world today. They offer a sliding scale and payment options. Going to the doctor isn't something most of us ever want to do. The people and the way they operate is impressive and so appreciated. I plan to go here if/when I need to visit the doc again.
Fantastic experience: Went in without an appointment for a vaccination and was out the door within 20 minutes. The lady who gave me my shot was super nice and funny, wish I would’ve gotten her name. As someone who’s afraid of needles she assured me by telling me “don’t wordy you have someone who’s very good with her hands” will definitely come again for my second shot!
Fantastic experience: Update 2024: The occupational therapist, Carol Nicholson, is very helpful and experienced. I appreciate her knowledge of manual labor related injury as well as office related injury. I have been treated with kindness and consistency by Dr. Feliciano as well. I appreciate how long she has been at the clinic. With so much shuffling of staff in other clinics that's a meaningful thing. Another positive experience I had was when I called as a returning patient after some years. (I had moved a few miles away but now prefer the longer drive to my other options). The receptionist advocated for me to get an emergency refill of one of my medications before my appointment time and that was really appreciated. I have fairly low expectations for healthcare in general and have had frustrating experiences with other community oriented services in the area. The fact that Seamar White Center manages to have competent and kind providers and staff and serve such a diverse population of patients from varying income levels and cultural experiences is notable. I am also impressed that the majority of the staff are multilingual.
Negative experience: They don't care about nobody unless you speak Spanish. Careless clinic always having me and my toddler wait just be seen and not understanding his needs.
Negative experience: I’ve been going here for the past 10 years. The customer service is unbelievably childish And is ruining the whole clinic. It’s sad to see a Multi millionaire clinic To have this bad of customer service. Improve the customer service, please. Record the lines So they can act right. There need to be some changes. Because this is not okay.
Negative experience: Easily one of the worst clinics/dental ever. First they NEVER answer their calls and if they do it’s a whole different location, second they are so rude (receptionist) unless you speak Spanish l, which I think is so discriminatory/disrespectful. Also they once cancelled my appointment the same day I made it, literally got a call back the second after I finished making the appointment saying the dentist won’t be in like why couldn’t they tell me that before . Also they always send me a bill which my insurance says they already paid for. So these people need to get professional cause this is so ridiculous.
Negative experience: Joseph Starzl. Not a doctor, a doctors assistant. Should not be able to practice, cannot even supply sodium bicarb to a dialysis patient. Does not do anything helpful as he made a referral to a place that does nit take the insurance accepted at sea mar itself. Starzl has no help whatsoever as he just advises patient to go to ER for all needs. This is not the way to Doctor. Starzl does not listen to patient. This office is criminal. I understand conversational Spanish but when no one speaks English in the Center when checking in, can be intimidating and uncomfortable. The entire feel of this center is uncomfortable. 1 star because the actual building is fine. Cleaner than downtown but it doesn't matter because the people are rude and. unknowledgable in their expertise. If you need actual help, go anywhere else besides Seattle
Negative experience: The worst service’s
Negative experience: Worst attitude of the front desk person I've ever encountered. Offensive. Had reasons to submit a complaint to Department of Health.
Fantastic experience: Felicitando a toda la Clínica de SEA MAR SON UN AMOR SIEMPRE AGRADECIDA CON NUESTROS DOCTORES, TERAPEUTAS, ADMINISTRATIVOS. NOS SENTIMOS EN FAMILIA♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Positive experience: office staff at nice service also parking free
Fantastic experience: Siempre me Han atendido muy bien, muchas gracias!!! Y la clínica está muy bonita limpia y espaciosa
Negative experience: Dental the worst and unprofessional people
Fantastic experience: Every body has been more than helpful vary greatful for there help and services for the last 5years Thank everyone at sea mar white center
Fantastic experience: This is a very busy, VERY polite and responsive clinic. Wait times can be awhile, because they take care of everyone's needs. You will be seen, your concerns met, and your problems addressed. Hats off to A GREAT Team!
Fantastic experience: Walked in for a Covid-19 booster on a weekday, mid-afternoon. I was in line for my shot in a matter of minutes after filling out new patient paperwork. The facility and all equipment was completely modern, and their processes were very organized. Staff was friendly and everyone seemed to be bilingual (English/Spanish).
Negative experience: Mal servicio. Y cuesta demasiado para que respondan una llamada. Una de recepción y la señora de laboratorio pesadas
Negative experience: The staff members are so unprofessional. They treat you like trash. Please, do not go seamar clinic at all unless you speak Spanish.
Negative experience: Already not impressed. Called and was on hold for a long time so I decided to use the callback feature. The system called me back and as soon as I answered the phone hung up. Had to call back and wait on hold. UPDATE: WAITED ON HOLD FOR 30 MINS TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE, FINALLY GOT THROUGH, THE LADY SAID SHE WAS CHECKING THE SCHEDULE TO SEE WHEN SHE COULD GET ME IN PUT ME BACK ON HOLD FOR ANOTHER 10 MINS. SOMEONE FINALLY PICKED UP THE PHONE DIDNT SAY ANYTHING AND PUT ME BACK ON HOLD THEN THE PHONE HUNG UP. I HAVENT EVEN BEEN SEEN HERE YET BUT IF THIS OS WHAT THEY DO I DEFINITELY DONT WANT MY HEALTH IN THEIR HANDS. DONT RECOMEND AT ALLLLL.
Negative experience: My son has been under this practice for 2 years. He’s now 3 and we’ve noticed he’s delayed in speech, drools and doesn’t sleep so we got him into a therapist who was shocked at the size of his tonsils and the fluid in his ears to the point that he can’t hear cause of all the fluid. This practice checked ears and throat routinely . I have also paid the insurance bills they send which tricare has told me they’re incorrectly billing me. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Negative experience: The behavioral health clinic literally will never call you back.
Negative experience: These people don’t know how to run a business properly. Had an appointment in January with a specialist, appointment had gotten canceled, and now they tell me they don’t have any specialist at this location. They play in your face, and transfer your call from location to location, so you never really know which location you are talking to. Better off going to a regular urgent care.
Fantastic experience: I received nice and quick service from the office staff at this location. Dr Steven Taylor, rheumatologist treated me and I cannot say enough good about his service. He was thoughtful, interested, thorough and I left feeling confident about my healthcare plan moving forward. He is also great with follow up communication.
Fantastic experience: This is one of the best clinics I've been to in many years, specifically their occupational therapist Carol, and their rheumatologist, I drive over an hr to be seen here! I have an uncommon genetic condition (ehlers-danlos syndrome) and have been to over 50 different specialists in the last 20 years, looking for proper care and understanding. They have a solid understanding of my condition, meaning they routinely do continued learning and know some of the latest treatments. I should have (and have fought for) custom bracing for 18 years, I now have my first brace made specifically for me.........in under a month. Carol is currently helping me get my next 3 splints through my insurance, this is amazing and will dramatically improve my quality of life. They listen, care and are so understanding, they follow through with everything we talk about during these appointments, the level of dedication they have is so impressive, I will be recommending them to everyone in my support group. Finding a good Dr is much harder when you have a rare misunderstood condition!!
Fantastic experience: I went here for the first time to get my covid booster shot. The nurses and staff were both so friendly and helpful and made me feel comfortable (I have major anxiety about hospital like settings). Not only did they make me feel comfortable, the younger children who were getting their vaccines were smiling and happy throughout the visit, shout-out to you all for making this experience as easy as possible.
Fantastic experience: Sandra Sankey was wonderful! She put my young son at ease while receiving a shot and was very professional!
Fantastic experience: La enfermera shanda que me atendio con la vacuna fue muy buena persona, la clinica muy limpia y agradable. Por lo que me di cuenta todos hablan Español y estan dispuestos ayudar.
Fantastic experience: I work in healthcare in addition to many personal experiences with various physician groups, clinics, and hospitals. I brought my nephew here for a sprained ankle. I must say this visit was the best experience I've ever had. 1. On time. 2. Every single person was kind and helpful, from the time we walked in until we left. 3. The radiologist, nurse, and doctor spent time with us explaining things and answering questions without seeming rushed. 4. As kid friendly as the best pediatricians I've ever met.. Doctor carried a full conversation with my nephew and showed genuine interest in him as a person. 5. My nephew said he loved coming here and can't wait to come back.
Negative experience: La peor atención al cliente.
Fantastic experience: I'm blown away by all the negative reviews of this place, especially referring to the employees attitudes. I went here for my covid vaccines and everyone was incredibly nice, patient and professional. I think some people are just miserable and want to complain. Sea Mar white center was great.
Negative experience: There is something really wrong with these people. There is a woman at the front desk who started abusively screaming at me like a banshee when I told her an I had an appointment and she acted as if I did not. These people need some serious help and are messed up. The Clinic Manager is psychotic and did not care. It is horrific.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Shahriar Heidery is the best doctor I have ever seen. He explained everything from A2Z and made sure I knew the instructions in simple language. Highly recommend him for your cardiovascular needs.
Negative experience: this clinic is so bad ,
Negative experience: I have my Ultrasound today. My appointment at 3pm I’m been sitting waiting for the past 40 minutes already still didn’t see dr. I’m tired I just got off work and have to deal with this so annoying.
Positive experience: The one thing I don’t like about their medical center is to get seen quicker you must know the staff well and compliment them. I was here well before another who came in later flattering the staff lady and the staff lady showed her to a room within 2 minutes of flattering her. I’m now almost 20 minutes past my appointment time
Negative experience: Came in here to get my blood taken after speaking on the phone with the doctor and they also ordered me to come here and to get a covid test. I was taken to a room because I explained to them I wanted to get tested for covid since I traveled recently and have been feeling nauseous ,and also for a pregnancy test(not to put my business out there). Well apparently I was "showing symptoms of covid" so they didn't want to take my blood. The doctor/ nurses were so rude to me they treated me like I had a disease. And gave me n95 mask. I was waiting in there for about an hour and eventually told the nurses I wanted to leave because I didn't know what the hell was going on. They made me exit through the back door like a dog. OH and guess what my covid test was negative. Come here if you want to be treated like a POS.
Negative experience: Nunca contestan el teléfono
Negative experience: Grandma came in for just some questions regarding her insurance. The person at the front door Took her Temperature & it was fine and then my grandma was clearing her throat & the person who took her temp Said she has Covid symptoms that she couldn’t be inside. Like what ?? Really ?? & then the same person who took her temp informed the manager if it was okay for her to enter because she was just clearing her throat and the manager also said “ Noo” cause I guess it’s symptoms & she can’t come inside . RIDICULOUS. Grandma clearly told her she doesn’t have any symptoms plus she was out of quarantine already. She insisted that she had covid after just clearing her throat. Unacceptable. Clearing your throat in this clinic , they’ll kick you out .
Negative experience: Clinic manager is stupid.she doesn’t know what she’s doing and made me sign a paper that I didn’t need to.
Negative experience: I had no problem with the doctor, what I cannot stand is the staff that leaves you on hold for an unreasonable amount of time. You really need to pick up your phones people.
Fantastic experience: Me han atendido sin cita y me llaman para recordarme
Negative experience: parese que no tienen personal para contestar llamadas que mal servicion
Negative experience: Crazy service for eye doctor!!!!! Doctor to slow my appointment was set for 1:00pm I came at 12:30 to register call me my name at 1:00pm waiting for doctor almost one hour to show up.. I get out the clinic until 4:pm crazy.
Negative experience: Worst customer service!!
Negative experience: The worst services by the worst doctors... never leasing to what you need, never check what's wrog with you... i am 39 weeks pregnant and had to go to urgent care to learn i had a infection. caused my doctor never checked me, evry appointment i had he would only talk to me. something he could do over the phone, instead of making me waist my time and gas to attend to a place that would make me wait up to 1 hr before he came in the room to talk to me for 10 to 15 minutes.... not happy at all with this services am happy to say that i will not be attending to this place again. Am just gonna wait till my labor day and go straight to hospital.
Negative experience: Not good
Negative experience: Hours trying to get appointments and referrals department is completely incompetent- seriously, I spent hours trying to help them fix something they screwed up that they still could not comprehend. I work two jobs, why would I need to spend this much time and heartache trying to get basic care? Care itself is just so-so, although they get one star for trying to be culturally inclusive.
Negative experience: Tried to schedule an appointment today, because the Burien location I normally go to is booked, and the woman who took my call was really rude and had a bad attitude even after I clearly explained why I needed an appointment with a doctor. I would steer away from this location, if that is how their front desk staff speaks to clients, then I don't want to imagine how the clinic itself (this location) will care for you. I never receive rude unhelpful service when I schedule from any of the staff from the Burien location. Won't ever step foot in this clinic because of her. Fix it.
Negative experience: No real doctors. They refuse care and limit care because it is “low income” and it is incentivized to do so by insurance companies. They think because of your economic status you are less entitled to care. Had doctor baksharani or whatever her name is diagnose my wife with strep throat and pink eye, prescribed her some dopey cough syrup and over the counter eye drops. It’s a bacterial infection and requires antibiotics and even a layman would kno that, and that’s exactly what a white person at another clinic would get. But because my wife is black and has an African accent she is stereotyped. Needless to say, I now have strep throat as well as my wife and possibly our infant son, and it could have been avoided if they taught these hacks how to actually care for people in their prestigious medical schools, instead of how to work the system and protect their pocket books. If I could give seamar a 0 I would not hesitate.
Negative experience: My kid fractured/broke his ankle. The pediatrician here refused to sign off for my kid to be treated/seen at the hospital. Hospital staff called her personally, she still wouldn't okay it. She wanted my kid to come see her first, then she'd okay for a hospital.
Negative experience: For cleaning waiting 6 months I can't believe it for good treatment you need to speak Spanish
Negative experience: spent over 700.00 on dental only to be told they will NOT transfer over my sons ortho records or give us the xrays/molds we've already paid for.. seriously? total rip off.. low income or not no one should be treated like 2nd hand citizens.
Negative experience: When I switched from a local clinic to Seamar, I thought that the level of care would improve, such was not the case. I don't think that you will ever see a real doctor here, or within the State of Washington which is full of DO's, Doctors of Osteopathy who are not DO's because they want to follow a more holistic path but because medical schools would not accept them, or they couldn't afford medical school. Enough on that, and back to Seamar, Olympia. I first tried to get in on an urgent basis for a severe earache but was told that the only way to do this was to come to the Saturday clinic and wait with everyone else and maybe squeezed in between the whooping cough and severe dehydration of the local homeless person who drank too much, that's not how they put it, but basically that's what happens. I was told that you may wait all day and not be seen. They do this to turn patients away so their plate is not too full. I said forget it and made an appointment a week in advance and went to the hospital ER for some antibiotics. Mid-week I got a message from the clinical director saying that he had canceled my appointment because short notice appointments were only for people who were really sick and it didn't look from the phone call record that I was that sick. Well I think that an earache that keeps you up all night and brings you to the ER makes classifies one as sick. I called back and gave the receptionist a piece of my mind. They gave me back my appointment, but when I got there, I was told that they didn't have the time to check in a new patient and their computers were down. The person who scheduled me had apparently not checked that I was a new patient and not booked enough time to get my paperwork done. I insisted on being seen and was seen that day, do the consternation of the receptionist who didn't appear all that busy. None of the staff appear that busy and the waiting room was next to empty, me and 2 other patients. I saw a nurse practioner who was nice, while not all that knowlegeable about medications that have been on the market for over five years. When you have to educate your healthcare professional about medications, you know you're in trouble. I don't know how you get to see a real doctor, unless you are referred out and referrals take 2 months at this location. That's average and it could take longer. This is care in the State of Washington which has really degraded to the point of a third world country. Unless you have money to pay cash for your care, your in deep doo doo. You might try the Olympia free clinic for stuff like cuts and scrapes and coughs and colds if you can't afford to pay the cash price for this clinic. They treat you after you fill out a few forms, and its clean and friendly. But only open a couple of nights a week.
Negative experience: Now i need to take him and get a check up!!!!!Do noy want it to fall off!!!!!!!
