Fantastic experience: Scottsdale weight loss has been nothing short of amazing! I went in October with a goal in mind due to an upcoming wedding the following April. My goal was 140 but I reached 134 by the time my wedding day came. They are uplifting and encouraging. Helpful tips were always given. I’m so happy that they were and still are a part of such an important journey. Thank you for contributing to my wedding by helping me feel my very best in my wedding dress!

Fantastic experience: Slow, a little expensive, but effective. Nothing else ever worked! This does. And the people are caring. Most have used the program successfully, which mattered a lot to me. It also made me feel less ashamed that I had previously failed at almost every other diet that I had tried. They answered all of my questions honestly and were encouraging.

Fantastic experience: I go to the Biltmore office and have seen marvelous results (43 lbs/19.5kg lost in 9 weeks). That alone would be enough for five stars for me. Beyond the large, and healthy, weight loss is the outstanding care. From the time I walk in for an appointment until I leave afterwards, every single staff member is on the ball and engaged. They are thoughtful, provide helpful suggestions, and make every visit a display of absolutely outstanding patient care. I really love seeing people excel at what they do, and this team excels.

Fantastic experience: The place is awesome the staff is very kind and knows you by name so you aren’t just money dr Guzman is very caring understanding and knowledgeable about what it takes to get you where you are trying to go and the staff really wants you to succeed and cares about your wellbeing I started off at 365 or so and after a year I’m currently down to 275 and I feel great about this place and trust me when I started I had doubts and worries because I’ve tried a lot of things to lose weight but after sticking with it the results are coming in and I’m not going to say you won’t have rough patches but I will say if you talk with them and adhere to the drs orders you will win believe me I’m a living testimony

Fantastic experience: The staff have a holistic approach to helping me become more healthy. Both Lydia and Dr. De Guzman were very interested in determining my goals and current barriers to weight loss. I appreciated Dr. De Guzman’s explanation of my lab results and my current body composition and what I can expect to see improve in the next 20 weeks. I am also looking forward to the classes led by a psychiatrist and by a dietician. I believe that the individualized plan created for me will work!

Fantastic experience: I had gone looking for a place that had supervised medical care and a plan that was actually doable. I am in a mix of meal replacement and Whole Foods and I have lost close to 10lbs in 4 weeks. The biggest impact for me was not the weight loss but more my energy levels, I feel excited to start the day and more focused than ever. Obviously losing the weight gives motivation. The weekly classes are great and to hear other people’s experiences helps me understand my triggers and better response/relationship with food.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care and program. The Optifast full meal replacement plan works great for me as my weight loss is a steadily downward trajectory. If you are ready to lose weight have the personal discipline to do full meal replacements, I don’t think you can find a more efficient partner than SWL. Partial plans are also available, I just can’t speak to them from personal experience.

Fantastic experience: A welcoming and supportive environment with friendly and helpful front and back office staff. Dr. Deguzman was perfect and answered all of my questions. I went in with some weight gain and off my diet plan but everyone was non-judgmental which made it easy to get back on track and my weight is back down this morning. I have lost 96 pounds so far with about 40 more pounds to go. I would highly recommend this program. I'm able to hike and do a bit of running again and feel much better over-all. Update. Back on plan and down over 100pounds.

Fantastic experience: I’m currently a patient at the Phoenix location and I must say that it has been the best experience! Struggling with my weight for so many years has been incredibly trying emotionally. To have a doctor (Dr. De Guzman) and his staff (Brianna and Miriam) show such empathy and kindness has been important to my weight-loss! So far, I’ve lost 12 lbs. (4 weeks on the program) and something that keeps me energized is that the team at the Phoenix office have incorporated the shakes and meal replacement bars into their daily diet. So, I know that they completely understand what I’m experiencing. Also, Dr. De Guzman’s energy is absolutely contagious! He’s energetic, positive and excited to see you there. So, there’s never a moment where I feel like he’s not connecting with my experience as a patient. Fantastic experience: I lost 26 pounds and was able to keep it off for the last 8 months. I see Dr DeGuzman and need to check in periodically to keep on track. Plus, it’s always good to see what’s new and say hello to very supportive people. I also feel like when I check in, I reset my goals and try to do better.

This facility was recommended by my primary care doctor. I love that they do bloodwork, so we can see how my weight loss is improving my health. The food is really good. I like that it’s very regimented, because I work from home. I drink two shakes, I have two bars, and a package of soup each day. I’m not hungry. I’m thankful I’ve been very successful on the program. I’m happy with my results, I started March 21, 2022 and I’m extremely happy with the weight I’ve lost.

Fantastic experience: SWLC is amazing, starting with the program and ending with all the amazing people that work there! They are extremely supportive and make you feel like you and your success are just as important to them as it is to you.

Fantastic experience: I can't stop telling people about the program that actually really really works and doesn't torture you. I cannot say enough. Four inches off my waist and dropping and I haven't been hungry or miserable once. I am on the food only plan. Don't think I personally could do supplements since I don't care for sweets. However the food only program has done it for me.

Fantastic experience: For as long as I can remember, I have always struggled with weight loss and dieting. I consider myself to be a relatively healthy person - I try to make healthy food choices, exercise regularly, and have a BMI within normal range. However, despite my best efforts, I was never able to successfully reach my goal weight and fitness potential; That is, until I started SWL. My results with SWL exceeded my wildest expectations. Within just 3 months of starting the program and just 3 months before my wedding day, I was able to lose over 15 lbs with the help and oversight of Dr. Z. There is no greater feeling in the world than watching pounds melt away week by week and having your clothes become loser and loser until you're forced to buy a new wardrobe. I used to hate being in photos but now, I couldn't be prouder of my new size. I can't wait to get my wedding pictures back because I know I look and feel my absolute best. As someone who loves carbs and eating in general, I was skeptical about the program at first and how I was going to commit to the SWL meal plan. It was much easier than I anticipated. It can take a few weeks to get used to making a change to your eating habits, but it quickly becomes routine and you learn to appreciate the ease and efficiency that comes with the full meal replacement plan. I love the peanut butter chocolate bars and high-protein shakes they offer as part of the plan! Even though I'm now in maintenance mode, I've learned so much about the importance of portion control and maintaining a high protein/low carb diet. Certainly a medical weight loss clinic like SWL is an obvious solution for someone very overweight, but it's easy to underestimate it's potential to help someone with those last stubborn 10 or 15 lbs. I can't thank Dr. Z and the entire staff at SWL enough for my success! It's truly life changing!
