Fantastic experience: I've been to numerous chiropractors in the Seattle area, and Dr. Aklinski is unmatched in her level of detail and caring. I've seen Dr. Aklinski for prenatal / Webster technique -- as well as two other well-known Seattle chiropractors for this and previous pregnancies, who come up high in the search results -- and Dr. Aklinski is the only person I would recommend. I had a fairly low opinion of chiropractic care after seeing a couple of the other prenatal chiros in this area, and was skeptical after my husband recommended Dr. Aklinski -- but she turned out to be amazing. I appreciate that she leans rational / secular rather than ideological, and brings a practical, non-judgmental (ie, no implicit blame for your lifestyle 'causing' your aches and pains), results-focused approach to her care, while retaining a lot of personal warmth. She can sometimes run 5-10 mins late, but this is because she puts a lot of care into each patient. Rather than a 5 minute 'adjustment' that cracks a few joints but doesn't result in long term realignment, Dr. Aklinski takes the time and care to understand what's really going on and design a custom program that she remembers and implements consistently over the course of her treatment. She also has a great bedside manner, and her depth of knowledge and 'misalignment detective skills' are impressive. Highly recommend Dr. Aklinski!

Between my desire to stay local to downtown Seattle and with the help of my insurance and Google I stumbled on Maxwell Chiropractic. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Wong. After a few visits and a diagnosis, I was referred out to physical therapy. The team is very welcoming, the space is inviting and the staff very knowledgeable. I am grateful for the team playing a role in my recovery and highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Maxwell for ~6 months. This is the 4th chiropractic provider I’ve had and is definitely my favorite. Originally I was a patient of Dr. Wong then transitioned to Dr. Aklinski when Dr. Wong went on leave. Unlike other chiropractors the Maxwell team incorporates body work in their adjustments. I’ve found the inclusion of the body work provides a greater benefit than only adjustments. I’ve used their massage therapy services once so far. Most of the massage therapists are OON for insurance, but the front desk team will submit an OON request to your insurance for you. The front desk is great to work with. They’re responsive and go above-and-beyond to help patients. The website is very easy to schedule appointments through without having to call.

Fantastic experience: Mom and I have had incredible care at Maxwell over multiple years. All their therapists are great but Olivia especially is incredible. Their location is convenient by Wall and 1st. The ambience there is very welcoming. While mostly out of network now their base rates are reasonable and they bill to your insurance. They've been kind enough to work with me when I've gone over my insurance massage limits.

All are top notch in terms of listening to what you have to say about what's going on in your body and customize a treatment each time. They are friendly kind and talented.

Each provider I have seen here has treated me with the utmost care and attention, and I love that they all work seamlessly together to create excellent ongoing care plans for me. Fantastic experience: I have always been scared of the idea of getting chiropractic adjustments (because of the sounds) but was forced to face my fears after getting injured in a serious car accident. Maxwell and Lauren Aklinski came highly recommend and I can confidently say that I made the right choice! Not only has the level of care from the Doctors been amazing but also the front desk support from Tobin and Emily. Dr Natalie seemed to have cured (knock on wood) a persistent pain in my legs that developed during the pandemic due to weird home office chair. I recently moved and am no longer able to see them. Wish I could have moved them with me!

Positive experience: Waited out the place for 20 minutes, nobody showed up. Disappointed. Changing my original review. The owner contacted and schedule an appointment for me for the next day. The experience was great. My muscles were relaxed. Alison did a great job.

Fantastic experience: Best people with caring and kind energy! I have had amazing chiropractic care and massage therapy for many years now! I will keep coming back when my body says so, which let's face it-- is always a good idea!!

Negative experience: This happened today, They cancelled massage appointments 15 mins before the schedule time! and last year the therapist cancelled the appointment when I reached there office saying she is double booked and decide to provide service to other customer because they reached first!!! WHAT! No courtesy to inform about cancellation?! Really frustrating service! I decide to give it a try after first cancellation but same experience again. I stay far and wasted my time in travel just to hear that my appointment is cancelled! Very poor scheduling not going back and won’t recommend!

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever… Emily who managed the reservation is an absolute disaster! She screwed my reservation and all she said was “I don’t know what happened???and it just got mixed up???” I tried to fix my pain around my shoulder and waited for a couple of weeks and that’s all you say?? THAT IS NOT OK EMILY!!!

Fantastic experience: OMG!! Dr.Aklinski is a magician! I have lower back and hip issues. She uses gentle types of adjustments that work well, and has given me some stretches and exercises to do at home that really help. She and the staff are so kind. Its just hard to find parking sometimes but not too bad and the pay street parking is cheap right now! 1.00 for 2 hours!! Yes, they follow Covid protocols and masks are required.

Fantastic experience: I echo who other people have said in their 5 star reviews. For me, I appreciate how Dr. Aklinski really digs deep into my tight spots and is able to treat the true root cause of pain or tension, and not just the symptoms. Have gone to other places where I’ve been super prescriptive on what I’m dealing with and then the chiro goes through the generic motions and cracking that doesn’t really do anything for me. Not here, Dr. Aklinski is a gentle wizard. Pelvic blocking was new to me but it’s been effective every time in treating my lower back pain when I sit and tightness in my upper spine, and the other treatments she has given has been a lifesaver. Always more than happy to go out of my way to this practice. Additionally, In terms of massage therapy sessions, Alison is simply wonderful.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give them 20,000 stars! I have never had a bad experience here and I have been getting chiropractic and massage services for over a year. I have a pretty bad knee injury with 2 surgeries and doctors have offered little help, but with a combo of PT and services here I am feeling almost no pain in my knee for the first time in 6 years and am finally able to rebuild muscle in my leg! Everyone is totally willing and excited to share their knowledge; they're all amazing, friendly, and truly care about you and listen to you. I could not recommend Maxwell more!

Fantastic experience: I have been working independently in this practice as a clinical massage therapist for about a year. (my 24th in licensed practice) I am normally somewhat reluctant to send any of my patients to a chiropractor I don't know. Not because I am dubious, no. I understand orthopedic medicine enough to think that most chiropractic care is helpful, but many Chiropractors have a business model that I don't condone. I say this as a preface, because I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lauren Aklinski to care for any of my patients. She is the very model of a kind, caring doctor. Her technique is far to the light side of the chiropractic spectrum, but she's effective with me, and I am a large man. She has more finesse in her treatment style than anyone I have been seen by in years. And she won't unnecessarily oversell anyone on care. I believe ever. For these reasons, I recommend her to you, the general public. I invite you to come to our nice little offices in Belltown for care. We may have just what you need.

He is always willing to meet me where my body is at on a particular day and use a variety of chiropractic techniques, both manual and instrument to make me feel better. Dr. Underdahl is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. I've been extremely grateful for the treatment I've received and would recommend Dr. Underdahl to any of my friends and family.
