Fantastic experience: I’ve had several sessions with Cara-Michele. I was worried about the pain for nothing. It has been painless, she always warns if she expects me to have any sensitivity. Each session she has given me suggestions for changes to my daily routine to help with pain management that is all natural.

Fantastic experience: I have visited this facility on several occasions for thermography. The atmosphere has always been welcoming and it is very clean. I recently had a first infrared sauna experience there. Cara-Michele helped me to understand the process and the benefits of using the sauna and made me feel much at ease. It was a really great experience. There are very generous offers for first responders, veterans, and teachers. I highly recommend the sauna experience for healing and stress reduction.

Fantastic experience: Cara Michele has been helping me for several years. She has helped me with flare ups for ulcerative colitis and now with neuropathy from the aftermath of cancer and chemo. I am in the process of treatment for neuropathy. My doctors told me that it could take years to feel better or I may never improve. Although I am not 100% yet I have made great improvement with accupuncture. I highly recommend Cara Michele. She is experienced, calming and very knowledgeable. I am sure she can help you as much as she has helped me.

Negative experience: It's unfortunate that I have to submit such a review but I believe others should know about this experience so they can be mindful. Yesterday I had an appointment for the sauna and I forgot about it. I forgot and was charged a fee due to not showing up. Now I respect business policy so that's not the issue my issue was with how it was handled. I explained that I simply forgot because I no longer felt like I needed the service at that moment. I believe this statement or my forgetfulness may have been taking personally because the policy was thrown in my face right afterwards. To be honest I was offended. Their was no customer discovery done to see what changed in my life that would cause me to forget instead I felt like the owner wanted to punish me for not showing up instead of understand that my life is moving at such a pace that a random day at the sauna wouldn't be feasible. So for new customer please read the policy. This isn't a business that extends grace or understanding. In this economy going to a sauna, acupuncture, etc is considered a luxury. I just simply think that businesses should handle people with a little more care these days.

Fantastic experience: I have included infrared sauna in my routine to cleanse and detox the whole of my system, after being given a diagnosis of stage four cancer. I can only say that I feel so much better since including this therapy in my detox regimen... I come twice a week and have for the last month and a half-- I think one of the best things i've done for my health!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Strength and Vitality Wellness Center for a couple years now. I went to get relief from back pain; sinuses and then leg pain. Acupuncture really helped relieve the pain and sinuses issues. I wanted to be more active so I joined the MightyMe exercise class. The exercise is geared to helping maintain balance and strength for seasoned adults. As I learned to be more balanced and strengthen my muscles, I needed the wonderful warmth and detoxification of the infrared sauna. Cupping is another way to target specific areas of pain or discomfort. I can’t think of a better way to give my body the care and love it needs then acupuncture, cupping and Infrared sauna. Along with exercising there is a program called Strength and Vitality Accelerator, which teaches us about proper nutrition; meal planning; and the importance of water and food for good health. We learn how to prepare different meals and talk with others for support and encouragement while going through the process. I am glad to be a participant of Strength and Vitality Wellness Center.

Fantastic experience: I have been using the infrared sauna for most of this year and its been very effective. Its great to have some "me time" to relax, listen to music, & sweat. Fantastic experience: I have had a few experiences with Acupuncturists but there is something wonderfully different about the approach Cara-Michelle uses. I have never experienced a kinesiological muscle test before and what a world of difference that was. Cara-Michelle was able to pinpoint my areas of inflammation surrounding my gut health and how it is directly connected to the inflammation and pain I was experiencing in my lower back and hips. Fantastic experience: Super Bowl Sunday 2015, I stranded my back chasing my dog. By Wednesday of that week I could hardy sit for more than 10 or 15 minutes and I could not sleep through the night. My first call as many of us do was to my orthopedic doctor. They took x-rays wrote a couple prescriptions and sent me on my way. My prescriptions included Meloxicam, 1000mg Tylenol, mussel relaxers and a 6 day steroid pack (the first of 2). Fast forward 3 months it’s now April and several prescriptions refills later, I still cannot sleep through the night nor sit for more than 15 minutes. Finally, I decided that I needed to try something else because “Traditional Methods” were not working. The practice of acupuncture had been on my radar for years, but no one close to me had ever tried it so there was no one who could recommend anybody. But, I remembered that I had met an acupuncturist Cara-Michele at a fitness facility and we had talked briefly about the practice. So my wife found her information and gave her a call to set and appointment. During my initial visit, I explained how my wife and I had been putting off a 5 hour flight to Phoenix to see my son because of my back pain. She asked me some questions about my injury and assured me that if I allowed her to treat me and if I did what she asked she could pretty much guarantee that we could be on a flight by the end of the month. I started off with 3 treatments a week and by the second week my pain had subsided enough for me to stop taking the medicines and I begin sleeping through the night. By the end of the third week she had me doing floor exercises. Doing moves I could have only dreamt of a month earlier. On April 28th my wife and I took a 5 hour flight to Phoenix to see my son and needless to say pain free. My wife is now a patience receiving treatment for arm and hand aches she has suffer with for years. So much to say about how acupuncture works, but don’t put it off if you are suffering with a ailment give Cara-Michele a call. Try it what do you have to lose but the pain.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this place enough! I have struggled with stomach/gi issues for years and have seen multiple general practitioners to no avail. Fantastic experience: I am using the sauna 4 times/week to heal high levels of mold & yeast systemically. The research is strong for the efficacy of sweating it out. Also, if you, too, have high levels of yeast, consider asking your doctor about nystatin. Facility is very clean. Sauna is in a private room. Cara Michelle is friendly & professional. She cares deeply about a quiet, relaxing environment.

Fantastic experience: I found Care-Michele when looking for an infrared sauna. I had just finished Dave Asprey's "Super Human" and was motivated to find relief from chronic back and hip pain. Cara-Michele echoed much of what is in Asprey's book. After six weeks with her, I can honestly say that it's been a couple years since I have felt so good. I owe it to the nutrition plan, the acupuncture, the sauna, and of course Cara-Michele. I highly recommend her for a quality of life upgrade.

Fantastic experience: My relationship with the Strength and Vitality Wellness Center goes way back too far for me to remember. Indeed, it was under another name, Women in Wellness. I started out with acupuncture for emotional wellbeing after the loss of my husband. I went on to a goal-setting class, detox, tai chi and other services. Since the shutdown with COVID-19, I have been participating in an exercise class 6 days a week that begins with meditation. This is how I start my day, and it has helped me to be more focused and calm during the day. I feel stronger, my balance is better, and I rest well at night. I also continue with acupuncture and a periodic infrared sauna session. I couldn't recommend Strength and Vitality Wellness Center any higher. It has had a major positive impact on my life. Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful wellness center! I have had Cara-Michele treat red eyes, back pain, hot flashes, headaches and a myriad of other annoyances. Positive experience: This summer (2020), I came to Strength and Vitality Wellness Center desperate to feel better: I was struggling with low mood and always feeling tired, no matter how much sleep I got. I started off with acupuncture. After a few weeks, I learned about the SP cleanse, and decided to do that, too. It wasn't the easiest process at first, but Cara-Michelle and her staff were always there to help and answer questions. She also helped me learn a lot about foods and their impact on one's body. After finishing the process, I felt amazingly better. My energy was strong and maintained throughout the day. My mood was normal and it was easier to keep it and move away from negative experiences or mindsets. I was astonished. I literally felt the best I have felt in over 10 years. Fantastic experience: I initially attended an open house session that was offered. I then returned with a friend for another session. I had been experiencing arthritic shoulder pain not relieved by medication so, I stopped taking them. Ms. Nether and I discussed alternative treatments and I decided to try acupuncture for the first time. I completed my treatments and found much improvement in my range of motion, pain and functionality. I am also sleeping through the night without pain. Ms. Nether and her staff are polite, professional and accommodating to guest. I plan to return in the near future.

Fantastic experience: Wellness Plan is a Life Saver! A family member referred me to Cara-Michele. He raved about her relieving his back pain and managing his diabetes. I started a Wellness Plan in January 2020. Cara-Michele designed a comprehensive plan for me that fit my lifestyle. I suffer from lack of mobility from a back surgery. And, I am struggling with my weight. The acupuncture, vitamins and protein shakes have given me more mobility and assisted with weight loss. Fantastic experience: My life, health, and mental focus have been bountifully touched as a result of Cara-Michele's wisdom, guidance, and persistence. I came to her with what seemed like a multitude of challenges. I can't begin to tell you the number of times that she asked if I was free and could stay just a little bit longer. Fantastic experience: I visited the Strength and Vitality Wellness Center originally for knee pain as a result of an old roller skating injury. Cara-Michelle was both comforting and objective during the entire treatment process. She listened to every detail during our consultation and we addressed both the knee pain and anxiety I had been struggling with quite some time. The sessions themselves were peaceful, relaxing, and meditative, and she spent time with me, explaining the needles to relieve that anxiety I originally presented as well as gave me some very helpful guidance to deal with my anxiety in general. I didn't have any trouble making an appointment and she answered every question I had, both during and after the appointments. I highly recommend her, both for her expertise and comforting nature, no matter if you're dealing with pain, GI, or mental health issues.

Fantastic experience: Sara-Michele is a Miracle Worker. I was in much pain and discomfort after 5 months of physical therapy for an Injury. Several areas on my body were still tight, sore, needing healing. I was shocked how one quick accupunture treatment brought release of pain in half an hour!! She offers patience, compassion, and those natural healing modalities I prefer. I have been educated comprehensively by Cara-Michele also. Fantastic experience: I found Strength + Vitality when I was searching for an Infrared Sauna. They are very easy to work with and have lots of openings, making everything really simple. Their Infrared Sauna's are top of the line too! Way more spacious then I was used to and it even has a little TV in there. I sweat and watch Netflix for 50 minutes its great. Just a heads up, they don't provide towels like I was used to so make sure you bring your own! Really enjoy this place and will likely try one of the other services soon like Acupuncture or Cupping. Can tell they know their stuff.

Fantastic experience: I continue to go here for acupuncture and infrared sauna sessions and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Cara-Michelle continues to be very thorough and offers a holistic approach to health and wellness. She is more than willing to reach out to your other medical providers so that she can integrate her practices into your current medical routine. Cara-Michele is the owner and is extremely welcoming & helpful. She is an Acupuncturist, Certified Nutrition Counselor & Certified Personal Trainer...she does it ALL!!. The InfraRed Sauna is wonderful for treating inflammation in the body, so if you have problems w/your muscles & tendons, try two of the InfraRed Sauna sessions in a 7 DAY period, they will really help relieve soreness & tightness in the body. The sessions are 50 minutes & VERY reasonably priced!. I've had a lump in my hip area for over a year and would get a massage, but it would always come back after a few days causing my IT Band to get sore. My hip socket/muscles were VERY tight. I had my first InfraRed Sauna session on Nov 12th, then a second one on Nov 17th...that lump in my hip was GONE after that second session!!!!. It has NOT returned, and it's December now!!!. I went in for another InfraRed Sauna session this week and I feel great! The Center ALSO houses a Well With Wendy Colon Therapist office---She is VERY friendly, informative and helpful. There is also Rhonda Keagy who runs the Thermography Suite. If you want something to REPLACE RADIATION Mammograms, get a Thermography done by Rhonda. NO pain or squishing of the breast necessary...It's a DIGITAL image!!!. Packages are available for discounted rates and you can schedule via text, online or by phone.

Fantastic experience: I was having radiating pains in my left arm and shoulder and wanted to try an alternative to normal MEDICINE. I visited the Strength and Vitality Wellness Center and was warmly welcomed by the staff. The met with Cara-Michele, who took the time to listen to my medical history and advised a regiment that included Vegetable Based supplements, Acupuncture, and stretching. Fantastic experience: From previous reviewers, I was interested in becoming a client at “Strength & Vitality”. It’s a very comfortable, clean and well run office. As soon as you enter, your greeted by cheerful Virginia at the front desk, followed by an offering of hot tea, so comforting on a chilly day. The owner Cara-Michele Nether is a deeply caring individual. I was particularly interested in their “Infrared Sauna”. My Integrative Medicine practitioner highly recommended the “Infrared” type of Sauna for detoxing my body. I feel extremely fortunate for having crossed paths with this particular practice.

Fantastic experience: I love this place Cara-Michelle has been a blessing to my daughter and myself. In the summer of 2017, my 7 year old daughter fell and hurt herself. The doctor’s diagnosis was she had a concussion and they put her on plenty of medication. I bought her to Cara- Michelle who treated her and I noticed that within a couple of days she was playing and had energy (which she didn’t have before). When she started to feel better she developed an awful cough which I was concerned with her regular doctor brushed it off. Cara- Michelle told me to keep an eye on her because an injury to her head could cause other problems. A month later after taking her to the doctor’s multiple times she was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. I took her back to Cara-Michelle and she treated her for pneumonia. Within days my daughter was feeling better and her fever broke almost immediately. I was forever grateful because where her pediatrician brushed off my concerns with holistic treatment she was able to overcome her ailments with no side effects. While I was bringing my daughter I was also being treated for some health problems of my own. I eventually did a cleanse that Cara-Michelle recommended to me and was satisfied with the results. I lost weight but more importantly I had a clear mind and I no longer had a sugar addiction. She also taught me how to eat fruits and vegetables... because not all fruits are the best for you because of their sugar content. I was happy and pleased with what I learned from her concerning my daughter and myself. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Cara-Michele and Strength & Vitality Wellness Center. I was suffering from severe dry eyes, preventing me from getting a solid night’s sleep. If my eyes were closed for too long, I would have excruciating pain when I opened them, mostly in my right eye. At one point I was setting my alarm for every two hours all night so I could put in eye drops and then go back to sleep for two more hours. I was miserable. I went to an eye specialist who suggested putting me on a prescription medication which, she said, “might” gradually help over a few months, and which I would have to continue to use forever. I really didn’t want to do that. I have known Cara Michele for a number of years, and she was certain that acupuncture would help. She started giving me regular acupuncture treatments, and within week or so I was sleeping through the night without any pain at all. It was really amazing! I now put in a couple eye drops before bedtime, and that’s it. I sleep soundly, and haven’t woken up in pain in a very long time. I am so grateful. If you have any issues with pain – it’s definitely worth it to go see Cara-Michele!

Fantastic experience: Over the years, I've been to Cara Michelle for a variety of treatments and gotten great results. Most recently, I went to her for help with TMJ. I had talked to a craniofacial specialist and was not impressed by the price or the process which could include surgery. When I went to Cara Michelle, I was in excruciating pain. I was basically taking painkillers every two hours and with a heating pad on my face. And I hate medications of all kinds. The day that I went to see Cara Michelle, I was curled up on the floor on my office with sharp shooting pain in my teeth and jaw. I took even more pills. After an hour in her office, I felt such extreme relief. The pain went away like magic. She even did a great job explaining why I need to stay away from certain types of food, something the dentist did not explain properly. In addition to alleviating a majority of my shoulder pain (5 treatments), Cara-Michele has been able to help me get a better night's sleep.
