Negative experience: Worst company to deal with! I have diabetes and rely on them supplying my Freestyle 3 sensors, they are very slow to supply my order and when I talk to them to chase up my repeat supply, I wait weeks to receive my order.

Negative experience: First off Pinnacle Medical Solutions was amazing. The first person I spoke with Brownynn 5 years ago was so personable and knowledgeable. Anyone I spoke with was more than willing to help and if they couldn’t they’d find someone who could. Since they became Adapt health or Solara or whatever they completely suck. Every three months when I do my order I have to remind them how to do it. And it’s barely right when it does arrive. It’s hard getting any real help bc nobody understands the other person. I get transferred all over to get a problem fixed that is still an issue days later. This company sucks now. Bring back the 5 year ago Pinnacle Medical Solutions bc I’m looking for somewhere else to go

Negative experience: By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I've had diabetes for 23 years, therefore I've worked with my fair share of companies, and it has never been as bad as Pinnacle Medical Solutions. They have poor communication, and will not tell you if something is delayed/needed/wrong with an order. Several times I have placed an order, went to check the status about a week later and they tell me they need something from my doctor/insurance/etc. and therefore I have to go WITHOUT supplies because they never communicated with me. This company will put your health at risk by delaying orders unnecessarily.

Negative experience: Customer service stinks. I used to call and get someone in Memphis with a nice Southern accent. Now when I call, I get someone in India with poor English skills. On top of that, I can hear dozens of other people on phones. I’m trying to upgrade to the G7 and I’m still not sure if that’s gone through. I left Medtronic for this very reason!

Negative experience: WELL LETS SEE!! Nimber 1 they don’t speak English well. Like AT ALL!!! So good luck!! Number two they have no idea what they are talking about!! Number three if your insurance doesn’t cover something they WILL NOT TELL YOU!!! Then you are left with thousands that you owe them! Number 4 they are incredibly rude in the billing department! As I expressed what my concern with them the lady continued to talk over me! PLEASE do yourself a favor and don’t go with this company! There is a reason why they only have 2 stars!!!

Negative experience: Update 2/26/24 After I thought this company couldn't get any worse, they sent me diabetic supplies without me placing an order. In fact, I had not placed an order for nearly a year!! The supplies came during December while I was hospitalized. The supplies were stolen. Pinnacle did not properly bill my insurance and now they are threatening collection action for a non-existent balance due. These people are trying to ruin my credit and send me to an early grave! BEWARE BEFORE YOU USE THIS COMPANY. I have been getting CGM supplies from this company for over two years. The customer service is poor. I never feel like a valued customer. They always complain that the doctor's office is nonresponsive and has not provided the necessary information, not true. Today I complained that I would be out of supplies in 14 days and was told to call Dexcom. My insurance payments do not go to Dexcom they go to Pinnacle. I am very dissatisfied with this company!!

Negative experience: Where do I even start. This has to be one of the WORST companies to deal with diabetic supplies. I've used them for 2 years first through text which at least you spoke with a person BUT THEN it was an app to place orders which was absolutely awful because it NEVER worked. Every month I had to try to find a way to reach out to a person to get my order and they are usually no help. Well lucky me they dropped Medicaid without informing NO ONE because if there is one thing this company is, it's unprofessional and they lack common courtesy. However why am I lucky you ask? Well, not only do I never have to deal with this awful place ever again! But I can now just have my local pharmacy fill it and just pay the copay! If I could give them negative stars I would. GOOD RIDDANCE!

Negative experience: Service since sale of company TERRIBLE! what used to be prompt service is now dropped and information entered incorrectly by non American barely bilingual phone center workers. what used to be prompt service Now! being dragged out not Days, but weeks to receive critically important Medical supplies. Negative experience: Came here to give a bad review but I see that this is pretty much everyone’s experience now. I’ve been charged for overnight shipping that still hasn’t arrived, I’ve talked to multiple people over the past week and nothing has been done. And my 4 year old son, who’s the diabetic, is on his last sensor. So done with this company. Pleaseeee Don’t use this company. It used to be great, but trust me when I say it’s terrible now. Negative experience: I have to call every time to reorder supplies. They used to text me every month. This time, I have been waiting 3 week and ran completely out of censors. I called every week to check on the order. First they told me they were waiting on the dr. The order was for guardian 3 sensors. They sent a prescription to my dr for dexcom. Once that wasn’t sorted out I waited another week to call. That’s when someone finally told me they needed updated insurance info. This was on Thursday. Here we are Tuesday, it still is not here. Currently on hold again for this same order .

Negative experience: ***EDIT: apparently they are holding my diabetic supplies hostage, I still haven't received my shipment from last month and part of my order from this month. *** RUN the other way from this company if you are diabetic. I swear 99% of my stress comes from pinnacle. it's a nightmare dealing with this company, constantly needing a PA dispite giving them one every month, constantly shipping my stuff to the wrong address (if they even ship my LIFE SAVING supplies in the first place), never contacting you back, and constant misunderstanding from their incompetent non-english speaking employees. Ive never been so serious, save your self the migraine if possible.

Negative experience: Have g9ne round and round with this company. We never ordered anything from them because the were so high. 9 months after supposedly ordering a cgm, we get a bill for 2 months. UPS can't track back that far and we live on a vacant street no package ever from them were ever received. Got a total run around and no resolution. They are less than credible. Fantastic experience: I like to say a few words about pinnacle I've been getting my CGM supplies for about 2 years. So let me talk about their customer service department; they are top-notc. They treat you like you are the only customer they have. They've never tried to hurry you off the phone, they treat you with respect. This company has the right name medical solution because they will find a solution for your problems. They rarely get your order wrong but if it happens they will try their best to fix it in a timely manner. The last thing I would like to say is you may find another company that does the same job but it's not pinnacle I've been dealing with this company for 2 years and in my humble opinion, it does not seem they were there just there for a paycheck. The people I have talked to in my opinion seem to me they are really trying to help. They are very professional, and I have recommended this company to my family and to my friends and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs this kind of service. Negative experience: This company is horrible!!!! They submitted my claim to to the wrong department with my insurance, told me they would readjust my bill, and now they've decided to make me pay the $1012. They lie and tell you a supervisor will call you back and give you the runaround. This company is GARBAGE!

Negative experience: I would rather swallow a bag of rusty nails and chase it with magnets than ever do business with them again. I'm currently fighting every barricade with insurance, doctors, and pharmacies to be sure I never have to use them as a distributor ever again. It's criminal the way they handle business. At this point, I'm sending them an invoice as a 1099 employee because apparently I have to do their jobs for them.

Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars I would. Never have I been so disgusted with a company. This company was bought out. The VERY DAY they transitioned over, the problems began and have never stopped. This company is run like a bunch of thugs own it. They cost people money, time, peace of mind, and most regrettably health. This company literally puts you at risk on a routine basis by delaying your supplies for weeks at a time without ever making any effort to resolve the issue. Beg to speak with a supervisor you will be told there are none available. That is the truest thing they will ever say to you.

It looks like I'm going to have to find another company. The Customer service does not know what they are doing.

Negative experience: Not only did they file my orders wrong under my insurance which caused me to pay hundreds, but they LOST over $400 of my bill payment on supplies I ordered in Februaryand March. On top of the disappearing act they pulled on me, I only ordered two more sets because I was desperate. Now that they "merged" Pinnacle LOST my payment and now they're trying to get me to pay more money. I advise people to pull together every statement and bill they've gotten and check to see if this company didn't try to pull one over on them.

Negative experience: Please do not use this company. Since they have sold to another company, the service is VERY BAD!!!! I do not recommend using them. Between billing and ordering and checking on your order, good luck. Just got off the phone, the phones were cutting in and out and the lady after 20 minutes was unable to tell me when my sensors will be shipping or when I will get my refund, finally got the code in billing right and charged my insurance way over then they use too. I was told to call back tomorrow and follow up. They also owe me $644, that they charged me to get my supplies. My supplies are covered 100%, no deductible for medical supplies. The billing department was billing the insurance with a wrong code and was declined. My insurance even told them to make the correction and they would pay it. They even took the last amount, $322 without my approval. I went over 1.5 weeks with no sensor because they couldn't tell me anything. I have notified another company and changed to them for supplies and I already got my 1st month with them, no charge. Also you talk to someone here in the USA and you're not sent over seas to have a non-understandable person take care of you. They have lost my business.....run, run as fast as you can.

Negative experience: UPDATE: Our supplies did not arrive until at least two weeks after I posted this review. My husband called yet again only to be told they "couldn't overnight" the supplies because they were already showing to be shipping. WHAT? I typically don’t give negative reviews, but since this issue affects my child’s health, I’m willing to. This company is TERRIBLE!! My husband has tried to get Dexcoms overnighted for over two weeks. He’s been on multiple phone calls between Pinnacle and our doctors office. Each time, Pinnacle tries to blame our doctor’s office. They will need certain documents from insurance or our doctors, and they show ZERO proactivity. ZERO. My husband has called on numerous occasions and been told they need something from our doctor. No one has tried to reach out to us to get things rolling ONCE. My husband basically has to figure out where THEIR gap in communication is every time. Again, zero proactivity, and zero communication. We pay an INSANE and DISGRACEFUL amount just so our son can live. Pinnacle is an absolute ripoff, and should not be in business if they don’t do their jobs. People rely on these million dollar pieces of freaking plastic that they don’t mail. Again, it’s taken at least two weeks to have them “overnight” our son’s supplies. Also, we have very good insurance, and this should never be an issue. We will research to see if we can find someone else who takes care of patients/customers. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Negative experience: I was receiving Dexcom supplies from Pinnacle every three months. All of a sudden they quit sending my supplies. I called on three occasions over a period of two weeks. Each time the representative said they would send them out. On the third call I asked to speak to a supervisor, but the rep refused my request and assured me my supplies would be sent. A week passed by, and I still did not receive any supplies or communication from Pinnacle. I had to have my doctor switch my pharmacy in order to get my supplies. I still haven’t heard from Pinnacle. Terrible company to deal with.

Negative experience: I have been ordering my diabetic supplies from this company for about 5 years now. They were amazing, up until a month ago. Recently, they sold out to an AWFUL company who couldn't care less whether you lived or died from not receiving supplies. I used to get my supplies sent instantly, the day I asked. Now, I have been waiting an ENTIRE MONTH for them to send my stuff but they just keep telling me the same thing every day when I call them and they are doing literally nothing to fix it, all while I've been suffering for weeks. They are all extremely rude on the phone no matter how nice you are to them. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUISNESS. Only try ordering from them if you want weeks of suffering. I am done with them and will never look back. AWFUL COMPANY.

Negative experience: My daughter never gets her omnipod supplies on time. She runs out of pods and I have to call and tell them. I have been told that I must call and tell them that I need to reorder. I suppose I can do that but I did not have to with the previous company we used. Now the big problem is the Dexcom. We have been waiting since October 2019 and whenever I call them they say that they are waiting on additional information. I ask them why they don't call or email and they don't respond. I have paperwork that they need to respond to and cannot get a response. No emails or texts. Horrible company.

Negative experience: I’m so angry with this supply company. The worst customer service. Twice now, no supplies. First year everything was great. Since January it went down hill fast. 3 weeks now trying to order supplies and i never get a email so i call back and they say oh we never got the order and I’m like i talked to someone and then its technical difficulties they say every time. Well last Friday i paid and it went through still no email stating delivery. It will be a week tomorrow and i guess I’ll call again. My last call i asked to speak to someone above the customer service and she gets on the phone and sounds like she’s laying in bed half asleep and had no care of the situation so I didn’t even try to communicate with her. All she could say was we can expedite it but I can’t promise it will be. I had to call my doctor and get insulin pens luckily they called back because it was a Friday. My blood sugar has been high and having symptoms of DKA. Mild symptoms thankfully I’m getting it under control. I used Medtronic’s for 4 years. Best customer service! Unfortunately pump malfunctioned and that was scary but they had me a new pump in less than 24 hours on my doorstep. After that i decided to use dexcom and the tandem because it was half the price as Medtronic’s and then that was the best option for me financially. I’m not sure what i will do next but it will not be using this company. My health and life is more important and they don’t even show any care in the world.

Negative experience: Customer service is terrible. Can't get anyone local. It seems to be outsourced to a different country. Can not get supplies in time. Insurance approval delayed (even though I talked to insurance and that was not the problem), then they said waiting on physicians office ( caught in yet another lie). I have used them since July of 2021 and they were great up until August of 2022

Negative experience: No longer a good supplier. When I started with them 3 years ago they were great until they sold out their customers and sold to a larger supplier. So much for customer service which then merger with someone that had my old information and now over a month over due for supplies. STAY away unless this is your LAST place to get supplies from. I just thought the distributor before this one was bad. I now am short supplies for one month!!!

This place is just as awful as any other private insurance in this country. Super happy to figure out how to survive on my own after paying thousands to insurance

Negative experience: I have had a catastrophic issue every time I order my diabetic supplies from this company. For example, they have repeatedly shipped my order to my old address even though I have updated and confirmed my new address multiple times both verbally and in writing. I actually went to my old rental house and knocked on the stranger’s door to ask if they got a package. They were afraid to open the door because they did not know me. It was an uncomfortable experience to say the least- thanks Pinnacle! This most recent time, I have gone 5 weeks since the day I ordered my supplies without getting them with many (failed) communications during this time between myself and the company. If you have diabetes or know someone who does, you know that living with this disease is very difficult. Unfortunately this company makes living with diabetes much worse than it already is.

Negative experience: I have great insurance that pays for my supplies at 100%. I ordered my supplies for my Tandem pump 2 weeks ago and have still not received shipping notification. I have called the office multiple times with the same pending shipment BS. I had to stop using my new Tandem for now and pull my old Medtronic out of my dresser to use while I continue to wait. My next appointment with my endocrine clinic we will be discussing other supply sources.

Negative experience: Would give them zero stars if possible. Discovered by accident I could’ve received my Dexcom sensors with no out of pocket cost to me rather than the $80+ Pinnacle was getting from me. That’s roughly $1000 a year for sensors alone. Still have enough infusion sets to last a month but I’ll be shopping around. Should have been a lot more vigilant in reading my Explanation of Benefits from insurance provider.

Negative experience: At first things were amazing. Then I had to inform my insurance company that shipments were delayed so often that we had missed two whole sets of supplies. Insurance informed me that that wasn't acceptable as those supplies were paid for on the insurance end. Company then sent me an extra unit two orders in a row to make up for it. Fast foward to now. Supplies were due in mid January. Have been getting the run around. Was told supplies were going out yesterday. Never received shipping notification so we called. Now we are being told something is missing from the doctors office. HOW DOES IT TAKE OVER TWO WEEKS TO TELL US THIS? It takes two minutes for me to send the Dr a message over the portal to fox issues like this. I had a horrible experience with diabetes management and was so thankful for Pinnacle. Now I'm wondering if there are any reliebale places to get diabetes supplies. Changing to one star same old bull no solutions.

Negative experience: Customer service is horrible. They won’t file your claim when they mess up and tell you that you have to file your own claim. Go somewhere else. They bill you 6 months after you get your supplies so you can’t send anything back.

Negative experience: Never ships diabetic supplies on time. Claims insurance does not allow shipping until supplies are due. We regularly go a week or two without supplies because of the company’s limitation. This company was an excellent supplier to work with in the past, but after selling to a larger outfit, their service has deteriorated substantially.

Negative experience: I can see why there is such a low rating for this company. Ships supplies not needed then will not ship early when I am needing early for travel. Diabetic supplies are needed when they are needed

Negative experience: Worst medical supply company with whom I have ever worked. I paid 2 bills I did not owe because I needed my supplies, when I was finally able to get in touch with the initial rep that set me up with the company, she confirmed I was in fact owed the two bills I paid and told me to just tell the billing department to refer to my insurance coverage. However billing seems to not be able to comprehend the problem and literally HANG UP ON ME after putting me on hold for over half an hour. They come back to the phone as if they’re going to help and hang up mid sentence. Once or twice may be a coincidence, but it happens EVERY TIME. I’m at my wits end with this company and am still owed hundreds of dollars.

Negative experience: Terrible service. They’re incapable of getting crucial medical equipment to customers in a timely manner. Very hard to get a hold of someone who can actually solve your problem. This has resulted in my wife not getting the medical equipment she depends on to manager her diabetes. If you have another option, look elsewhere.

Negative experience: I am very displeased with this company. I was lied too. My insurance deductible was met for the year. I called in the beginning of December to make sure my supplies would be pushed through before the end of the year. I was sent half of my order, which was Dexcom supplies. I did not receive my transmitter. When they waited till the last of December to submit and of course the insurance company won’t pay for it. Now the transmitter is 300.00 plus tax that I don’t have. Plus, I have three months of the holders for the transmitter that are going to waste I am very upset with this distrustful company. I hope they get it together.

Negative experience: The first time having a problem with this company and my last The representatives they have are ridiculous you do not talk over anyone and you do not get smart with your customer I am the easiest going person ever but when it comes down to my daughter and her supplies that she needs with it being over two months and I’ve heard nothing I draw the line!! Negative experience: Predatory billing practices. Does not communicate when insurance denies a claim until over a year past the date of service, rendering an appeal to the provider ineligible because of the 6 month window to file appeal. If you like receiving several thousand dollars in surprise medical bills over a year later then use pinnacle for your medical supply needs.

They always call back if I leave a message— It is so very hard for them when dealing insurance companies and Medicare regulations…..

Positive experience: I like Pinnacle very much. Nice staff. Easy to deal with. However, on more than one occasion when supplies shipped the tracking information was emailed after the package arrived at my house. I like to know in advance when the package is going to arrive. Sometimes the shipment is sent Express, sometimes 3 day. I just don't like the package sitting on the doorstep for a long period without me knowing beforehand when it's going to arrive. Other than that, they're good folks.

Negative experience: Kinda like everyone else, pretty sure this company is trying to kill us all. This is the third time they’ve “overlooked” my supplies. Currently dealing with 400+ blood sugar because no one could be bothered to send the right supplies. Tracy and Shelby are good tho. Keep doing y’all’s thing.

Negative experience: Just had a rude interaction during a 3way conversation with my insurance and an agent of pinnacle. She didn’t realize I was on the phone. She was rude and discriminated against me. Manager was courteous but the damage was done.

Negative experience: Honestly, if it was possible, I would zero stars. They withheld life saving medication due to their staff not having sent in a formal request to my insurance. I checked with BCBS before I switched over from Edgepark. 0/5 customer service 0/5 knowledge 5/5 turning me into a sacrifice for the dark lord. At least the afterlife wifi is bussin'

Negative experience: Literally the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. They sent us a bill in December 2020 that was paid in full. They sent a new bill in April of 2021 saying they reworked the billing system and another $170 was owed, I argued that their billing had to be wrong and already paid the original bill. They argued and I paid to get them to stop bugging me. I got another bill for $195 today! For the same December shipment! Literally just trying to milk money out of patients

Negative experience: I’d give 0 stars if I could. Pretty sure they’re planning to kill me. Any time I request my medicine they tell me they’ll have it, then when I try to get it they tell me I can’t have it unless I answer three riddles for a troll or something but told me Id be able to recognize him since we look like we must be family.

Negative experience: No one here can do their job. They withhold supplies and make you call up there every day to remind them to send what you need so you don't die, and they may or may not get around to it. Also, the receptionist picks her nose and wipes it under the desk. Seriously, Hannah, that's disgusting and we can all see you.

Negative experience: Switching from edgepark to pinnacle due only to price difference. Speaking with a pinnacle representative that explained the great savings if I switched. What a false representation. It was, I'm being forced to pay double of what I had been paying with edgepark whom I had been with for years. Customer service is no help and tried to lecture me on knowing my insurance coverage. When calling back to try and understand the large payment I received and trying to get another quote .Just to be given another low ball quote. Which again is incorrect. I've had enough. I will be taking my business back to edgepark. Ask a lot of questions that's all I can say.The recorded line isn't a line they actually want to review per my request. No resolution just a lot of lip service. Stuck paying!

Negative experience: I think it's fair to request consideration especially during this time of national crisis. The pandemic has caused many business to fail this is so unfortunate. However, when you ask well in advance for an early supply of products in order to have enough supplies on hand to complete your vacation is easy, right? For three weeks, I have attempted to manage my medical supplies well in advance of a month long trip out of country. The folks at Pinnacle made me feel it is not their priority or concern that I asked for their assistance by stating a non existent policy of the insurance company. After further investigation I was told by my insurance company that my request was reasonable and allowed. Pinnacle asked me to pay $200 out of pocket to pay for additional supplies up until the point that I brought to their attention about the favorability of my request by my insurance. At this point, they finally approved my early request. The only problem is, they cannot guarantee it will arrive in time before the 7 members of my family and myself's departure date. Then they offered me one day shipping for $65. If I was given some meager consideration three weeks ago I would not be forced to spend $65 of my fixed income money unnecessarily due to their lack of concern. Not fair! I do not understand why people create these unnecessary hoops to jump when you sincerely request their assistance. The flip side, if someone goes above and beyond the normal call of duty to write something favorable. In my mind Pinnacle missed a golden opportunity to have very favorable response indicating terrific customer service. I'm sorry Pinnacle you're moving in the wrong direction on this one!

Fantastic experience: They always go out of their way to make sure my supplies make it to me on time. If there is ever an issue, they keep me informed and make sure it is handled quickly while communicating with me and the doctor’s office. Their calls and texts are always informative and friendly.

Negative experience: My son's supplies stopped because they claim that it isn't covered by insurance. When I called the insurance company, they said that it is covered. I have been trying for weeks to get a claim number from Pinnacle, but I keep getting passed from person to person and nobody can give me a claim number. I feel powerless as a parent of a child with a chronic medical condition.

Positive experience: They say stuff was delivered, but it never was. In late December 2019, my son was supposed to receive Omnipods and a Dexcom CGM transmitter, but he never received them. Unfortunately, we didn't realize it until it was too late that we were missing these. Fast forward to today, March 10, 2020, and the same thing happened. An entire shipment is missing (Pinnacle said it was delivered) and due to the short change from Dec, my son is out of diabetic pump supplies. I think I'll switch back to Solara. Their (Solara) customer service sucks, but we always got our supplies. Edit: Pinnacle contacted me and admitted that they screwed up and shipped to the wrong address. They immediately shipped supplies and got it all fixed. Faith somewhat restored, so I've stayed with them. Each shipment since then have been accurate and on time, so I've also changed the star rating.

Fantastic experience: I have recently signed on with Pinnacle Medical Solutions as the provider for my Omnipod devices. The customer service has been outstanding so far, from sending me reminders to assisting me with the prescription and other related paperwork. Allison has been terrific!

Fantastic experience: Left another medical supply company due to every time an order was placed for my wife it was a guessing game when it would arrive. Even with holidays during the week they were able to get supplies to her within a week.

Fantastic experience: After using another supplier and constantly having to make repeated calls to get our supply orders (which were always late, taking literally 2-3 weeks of calls & excuses EVERY SINGLE TIME), our pump educator at UAB Children's Hospital suggested Pinnacle. She said she didn't have enough experience with them to wholeheartedly recommend them yet because they're new, but that they seemed to really care about providing quick & correct service & seemed to truly want to help their patients. So I tried them. My call was returned in minutes. My questions were answered honestly. They wanted to contact my insurance before quoting me a for-sure price because they wanted to make certain it was correct. They called back within an hour to confirm the correct price and order information. Then I received my Omnipod shipment two days later... three days ahead of schedule! I was absolutely floored by how wonderful their service was and how fast the shipping was. At the time, Pinnacle didn't have a contract worked out with Dexcom, so I still had to to the multiple calls & excuses run around with the other company for my sensors, but I look forward to getting rid of them completely & being able to buy solely from Pinnacle.
